I'm sitting getting a pedicure right now! They are always busy, but will always find a way to fit you in for what you need. I go to Lynn and I love her!! They take their time and I really feel like I'm being pampered. :) read more

This is my first time ever posting a Yelp review -- and I've had my account for year, so that in itself is saying a lot. I initially came here because I had a coupon for 15% off, and even though it was out of the way for where I live, I decided to give it a try. First thing I noticed was that they had a ton of colors to offer, especially for gel (which is what I went there for) and I was very impressed by that. I was welcomed by a man who was very happy and eager to help me. I was seated within five minutes of walking in and able to get my gel manicure. My nails came out great -- I loved them when I walked out. Very minor imperfections, no complaints really. Two days later, two of my nails had already chipped!! I was so surprised considering that I expect my gel manicure to last AT LEAST two weeks. I went back the next day to get my nails fixed, and they did at no charge. But the following day, another nail had chipped and I can't believe it. I paid $30 for my manicure and maybe it was just my luck that I ended up with poor gel polish, but it was definitely not worth my time & money. read more

First Choice Nails - Nail Salons Near Me - Henderson, Nevada

It was my first time at this location and although they did a good job I was disappointed with my nail tech. I thought he was really rude and I really can't stand it when they all talk to each other in their language and laugh the whole time. It just comes off as unprofessional. I also noticed they didn't have sanitized tools. they just pulled it out of this box that had an old paper towel in it. I was mortified when I saw that. When the guy was done he just stood up and walked away. I tried to pay and the lady nail tech next to him took the card. And yelled to him in her language to get the card. I could not believe the poor service and attitude of these people and they knew it was my first visit. I definitely won't be going back. His name was Tommy. read more

This is always my first and only choice nail salon. I have been going to TOMMY for years. The product and quality is awesome! The service is great, facility is clean, and it is extremely affordable!! The staff is sweet but I prefer TOMMY or HOLLY!! I have tried many salons in Nevada but I choose first choice because the product they use is wonderful!!! read more

First choice nails is my favorite nail salon. I have never had to make an appointment before, because even as a walk in I never have to wait for than 5 minutes for service. They have a large selection of gel colors which is great. It usually takes about 20-30 minutes for a gel set and last two weeks without chipping. They even give UNLV students 15% off their service. I highly recommend first choice nails. read more

I've been going here for a few years now on and off. They are the only salon I've gone to that really does a good job. They are very sanitary, friendly, and reasonably priced. read more

I had my nails done here last month as a last minute solution. When I arrived they had a person on every single possible chair, however I was helped immediately and they started my pedi on the spot. I got a mani/pedi and I was happy with their service. Until, the nail polish (a light pink) turned a weird yellow the following week and on both my mani and pedi the polish started to crack and fall off (and yes, I do work inside. So environment isn't an issue)The people were really nice overall, I'm just not sure what they are using is fresh or new or old polish, top coats, or whatever else they use. I've never had a pedi peeling in three days. read more

The "spa" part of my pedicure wasn't good. She did it so quick & skipped a few parts. The nail polish came out good though. I also got acrylics which was ok. Again, she rushed it. I had to keep telling her which parts to sand more to even them out. There are also marks of the second coat. She didn't talk to me the whole time, which I don't mind but she couldn't even understand what I was trying to say to her when I asked her to fix something. It was okay but I don't recommend this place read more

I've tried to like this place. Today was the very last straw. I made an appointment, and arrive a couple minutes before my appointment time. Waited 10 minutes for someone to even speak to me (people who came in after me were spoken to right away). No one knew where the person I had an appointment with was. They yelled for him in the back. They put me in a pedi chair, still looking. Left me there for five minutes - the water was too hot and they ignored me. Finally found my tech - 'there he is outside - getting lunch'. He came in. Ignored me. I got up to leave - he yells across the room 'I'll be right there'. 15 minutes after my appointment time and they finally want to pay attention to me. Previous visits were just ok and I went there because it was convenient. I'll drive farther next time. read more

My daughters and I have been here several times. They always get one of the women who are really good. I seem to get the men everytime who rush and don't do well. The women would literally start my daughter long before me and the men will be done with my pedicure and working on my nails, before my daughters are gone. Two weeks ago my daughter and I both got males who did horrible on our nails and feet... they did not take time and do correctly and the polish job was a mess and the acrylic did not cover our nails completely like it should've. Within a day she had nails that had broke off. She said that he did not clean under her toes as needed. A month before one of the older women did my daughter's nails she was very rude and short patience, but she did a great job and my daughter's nails still looked good after a month. Once I had a women who didn't use a clean instrument and this time the young guy was about to do the same, but I caught him before he started and told him to go get sterilized materials right out the bag. There is a young new guy my daughter has gone to. He does really good. I've complained and the lady in charge does not care at all. She ignores you. read more

LAST CHOICE NAILS. Definitely the last place you should think about going to get your nails done. I went in with beautiful long coffin nails and left with squares and crooked shaped nails that were jagged like shark teeth on the edges and had literal globs of dried gel pain on my cuticles and skin. Big red flag is I did not show enough concern about the overall cleanliness of my surrounding as I walked in. The clear acrylic that they place between to proctor the from covid... well it's so dirty and gross it looks like a frosted window. The acrylic divider is actually so dirty and unclear that I could not see through it to know what my nail technician was actually doing to my nails. I did not get to see my nails to their fullest until the were done and I was covered (yes absolutely covered and dripping) in cuticle oil and told to wash my hands. When I saw that I 1. Had globs on paint on my skin, 2. Some of my nails were now crooked, 3. Paint was not actually covering all of my nails and 4. The edges of my nails were jagged enough to resemble shark teeth on everyone one of my nails I retired to my technician to have him fix them. He begrudgingly put his phone down and filed down the sides of my nails and chipped away to get the globs of hard gel off of my skin and cuticles. I then went over to were my mom was and still, there's was so much wrong with my nails. I asked after she was done if my mom's technician could attempt to help me and file down the sides of my nails that were jagged and snagging on everything at this point and so she did try and had to file my nails for a good 5 minutes. My nails still look gross, I had to go home and continue to smooth out the sides myself, it's easy to see where the paint is not fully covering the nail and where the acrylic was not shaped or pushed onto the nail enough and how thick it is laid on. I am very upset with how my nails look and more upset to have wasted that money on such a terrible experience where I did ask for corrections and still nothing was made. I've had bad experiences but this was really a last straw at this salon. A total waste of money and a very dirty salon with low quality standards on the nails that they are willing to let their customers leave with. read more

I've had my nails done by Tommy and Hai and this place is the best in Las Vegas! My nails always look awesome every time.

Excellent pedi. The deluxe pedi ($35) which consisted of a spa pedicure, callus removal, orange sugar scrub, extra massage (6 mins) and hot towels was amazing. My legs and feet were super smooth and soft. The massage was extensive and definitely felt longer than 6 mins. I definitely feel like I got my money's worth. read more

First Choice Nails ROCKS!!! It was friendly, clean, and fast! I get the gel on my fingers and I was impressed with the variety of polish! There are tons of racks of color choices! and if I want, I can get a little design on them! Like for Christmas, I got a little gingerbread man on my index finger, and the rest of my fingers sparkling red! I loved it, I got it on the 2nd of December and it lasted to the 16th! I have been doing gel since November of last year, and not once have I been disappointed! I also do regular nail polish on my toes and there is a whole wall of polish to choose from! They give me a thorough massage and nice hot water to dip my feet in! They even give me a water bottle! They also seat costumers in massage chairs when they are getting pedicures! In conclusion, I love it and I will not go to any other nail salon when as long as I live in Nevada! read more

Over priced and didn't do good job on daughters nail she voted it over and over looks like she got brown nails. My nails weren't so bad but nail tech couldn't do an ombré like I asked. I am forced to give a 1 since I cannot rate a 0. This place was horrendous. Absolutely a disgrace. First I paid $55.00 for a full set with gel coating. Rather than giving me a decent paint job for the money I spent they gave me nothing but bubbles, uneven nails, and didn't even finish filing them down right. I had to have my husband call and tell them to fix them as I was livid. I went back to have them fixed and it was like an inside joke. They thought the crap was funny. Wasting my money is one thing. I can get that back. Wasting my time is another, because you can't replace that. I would STRONGLY discourage anyone who thinks that this is the place to get their nails done, because this simply is not the case. And forget about asking for a refund for a sham job. They'll ask to fix the mistake and talk poorly about you the entire time. read more

I tried giving this place a chance and it was just a disappointment I really had high hopes since it's right up the street from me and I shop in this area quite frequently, I've came here twice and the first time went well just got simple white tips I was satisfied with them but when I came back for a fill I wanted all white nails and was even ok with getting paint when normally I just pay the extra for powder because paint messes up so easily and the guy just did not seem like he wanted to do my nails just no interest what so ever he tried talking me into keeping my French tips and to which I said no. I'll never understand why people in the service industry try and talk you into what they think looks nice unless your paying for it or the fill will be free keep it to yourself and do what I'm paying for. So ever since I just did the white he asked me to pay first and I was thinking so I wouldn't mess my nails made sense he proceeded to paint my nails and didn't even clean or file the underneath so it would look nice no technique what so ever and when he was done he had me lay my hands flat and turned on a lil janky fan and told me not to move and got up and walked away to start on some woman's feet... Really? Horrible customer service will not return I'd rather drive across town than give them my buisness again. read more

I tried giving this place one more chance Last Saturday Valentine's day weekend. and it was just a disappointment I really had high hopes since it's right up the street from me and I shop in this area quite frequently, I've came here a few times for a pedicure. I told the nail tech I wanted a gel manicure and not cut my nails short. She did in fact cut them short. Kept telling her the nails were filed crooked. Kept filing them down more. I showed a picture of exactly what I wanted she could not ever do that. The color was by far darker then the picture I showed her and the nail color I picked from their gel manicure stock. She used unclean tools from her drawer. I'll never understand why people in the service industry try and talk you into what they think looks nice unless your paying for it or the fill will be free keep it to yourself and do what I'm paying for. Once I left the shop and could see my nails in the sunlight OMG. I got 3D and didn't ask for it. Talk about divots and valleys. I called the manager and told her I had a bad experience. She said come back we fix them Can fix short screwed up nails. I went back on Monday night to show her the damage the tech had done. She would not refund my money or give a gift certificate for a pedicure. I WILL NOT RETURN TO THAT SHOP AGAIN. REALLY HORRIBLE customer service will not return I'd rather drive across town than give them my buisness again. read more

I want to give one star but my nail tech (Yen) was great. First off, I scheduled appointments for both me and my son. I was getting a mani/pedi and my son just a manicure. I get the pedicure first and about 25 min later I see him still waiting. Come to find out, they had called one person ahead of him. He told me that 2 other women walked in and if they take them first then he was leaving. Sure enough about 10 min later they called the 2 women up. I asked my nail tech why he is still waiting and made it loud enough so that the lady taking the appointments heard. The first excuse was that the last women requested a particular girl. Ok no problem, but what about the other 2 women? Then I was told cause they were waiting til I was done with my pedicure. Ummm no. We scheduled for 1pm and it's now 1:30. And we got there 10 min early. I was still very frustrated and made sure the lady in the front knew I was pissed. My tech kept apologizing but it wasn't his fault and I made sure to tell him that. They kept telling me to call him back In but of course he wasn't going to and can't blame him. I got a very unsympathetic "sorry" when I left. So although my nail tech was great, I won't be going back because of this. Very disappointed read more

I love the manager.. He is so nice... But when I went in today I know it was busy but they sat me down at the chairs for a pedicure. The water got so cold I had to ask someone to put some warm water in. About 20 mins later this guy finally got to me and first asked him for some water. He wasn't so happy about getting one for me. I did ask for a deluxe pedicure. He was doing a ok job but he didn't use any callis remover that comes with a deluxe. And when he went us the scrub he didn't use it on the bottom for my feet (which they do all the time) and then when he went to massage my legs he did it for 3 min and then got up and got a cold towel which should be hot. Then I said said something about the massage (which should be a extra 6 mins) he said FINE.. I tried to talk to him and wouldn't say a word to me. He was finished when my pedicure before the lady next to me was finished and they started on her pedicure 10 mins before my pedicure. I shouldn't be telling someone to do there job that I know nothing about. No tip for him and will never be back even though its really close to my house read more

OMG this was bad. I use to consistently come to First Choice Nails with the previous owners but when the ownership changed I stopped coming. But every now and then I get pedicure done here and it have been to my satisfaction. Today I stopped by for a fill. When the tech had already put second coat on my left hand she asked me to put my hand in front of a fan. The tech to my left came back in to her station and her color tan winter vest that was unzipped brushed on two of my left hand nails and really scratched the polish. My tech took one of the damaged polish off however she applied a third coat on the other one. She cleaned around my nails with a brush and acetone. I moved to another area and let my nails dry for 10 minutes. When I got in the car I inspect my nails and OMG it was so bad. When I walked in to get my nails done it was way better than this newly fresh done nail. I was disappointed and mad for have wasted $18- plus $5- tip for such a bad job. I didn't go back in because I was angry and also I don't do reviews but this left me speechless. :-( read more
