They send you a link to a video where Dr. Chastanet explains what the program is and is not. You have to sign an agreement for their "No show penalty" clause. I figured if they put this much emphasis on explaining things before you even stepped in the door this was a place I could put my trust in. Additionally, on the first month check in (at 3 weeks) the doctor told me I had not done a good job and needed to do more because I 'only' lost 2 lbs a week. I worked really hard to do that and was so discouraged and defeated by this. I tried not to let it affect me, but it derailed me because I felt like nothing I was doing was good enough and he was going to be nasty to me again. Not supportive or encouraging- more interested in hearing himself talk than listening to me. Sage advice like wear a Fitbit- which I already do. It is obvious that the main goal of this place is to push the hormone therapy. If you aren't interested in that- don't go here. Front office staff are lovely.
