I have long been fascinated by the life and achievements of Edgar Cayce and was fortunate to have a number of interesting conversations and email exchanges with his son Edgar Evans Cayce before his passing 2013. His father, Edgar Cayce made his home in Virginia Beach, VA from 1924 until his death in 1945. On June 6, 1931, 61 people attended a meeting to carry on Cayce's work and form the Edgar Cayce Association for Research and Enlightenment (A.R.E.) Today A.R.E. is a non-profit organization that has been transforming lives for nearly a century. It's aim is to help individuals achieve profound personal change in body, mind, and spirit through the wisdom found in Cayce's psychic readings. This organization serves as a great resource for those seeking to enhance their spiritual growth and well-being. The history of A.R.E. traces back to Edgar Cayce's extraordinary psychic abilities, which he used to help thousands of individuals with health concerns, past-life insights, and spiritual guidance. Cayce's readings covered a wide range of topics, including ancient mysteries, holistic health remedies, and spirituality. These readings form the foundation of A.R.E. and continue to serve as a source of inspiration and guidance for its members. A.R.E. offers a variety of services, workshops, conferences, and retreats to support individuals in their journey towards personal transformation. These programs cover topics such as meditation, dream interpretation, spiritual growth, and holistic health practices. Additionally, A.R.E. publishes materials related to Edgar Cayce's teachings, making his wisdom accessible to people around the world. The headquarters, in Virginia Beach, houses the Edgar Cayce Library, which contains an extensive collection of books, audio recordings, and other resources. Members can access these materials to deepen their understanding of Cayce's teachings and explore new paths towards spiritual growth. A.R.E.'s immensities lie in its far-reaching impact on individuals seeking personal and spiritual transformation. By providing access to Edgar Cayce's profound wisdom and fostering a supportive community, A.R.E. continues to empower individuals to unlock their true potential and lead more fulfilling lives. As a testament to the organization's lasting influence, Bottom line: A.R.E. has grown to include regional chapters, international outreach, and online resources, making its life-changing teachings available to an ever-expanding global audience.

At first it felt a little weird but they were very nice when i went to the counter. The gift shop has crystals, aroma therapy, books, tarot cards, and more!!! This is one of my favorite places to buy tarot or oracle cards because they have a demo box for each box of cards. So you can open them and see if you vibe/connect with the cards and artwork. Its also a bigger selection than most places.. There's also a table if you want to sit down to read or look through the cards. The jewelry is also beautiful if your into crystals. They have wire wrapped pieces, copper pieces, and more. I could easily buy a lot in here. Lol. There is also a lot of good books in there. I can't go and not be in there for at least an hour. After you leave there's a meditation garden outside that's very relaxing and they also have a meditation room upstairs. The meditation room is has a great view of the beach across the street. You can feel the positive energy as soon as you walk in. Keep an eye out for flyers. They have psychic and spiritual expos throughout the year. During the expos you can sign up for psychic/tarot/medium readings, reiki, they also sell handmade items, and other cool services. Check them out!!!

Everyone was very nice and welcoming. But that's where the good experience ended. I noted I wanted firm pressure on my intake form and confirmed with the masseuse that's what I wanted for my sports massage. I am no stranger to massages. I asked her to focus on my neck, upper traps, and lower back/SI joint. She spent more than half the hour on my arms and legs. The pressure was all over the place. Weird hand motions and more therapeutic feeling. Then she drilled hard onto my IT bands and calves. They were sore for a few days after. I was expecting similar pressure in the areas I asked. But nothing. No pressure or trigger point work AT ALL. By the time I thought to ask for more pressure (because she never asked if the pressure was ok), the massage was over. I was really frustrated because I was really needing some relief on my neck and traps. I paid and tipped but also let the receptionist know I was really let down. She said she would let the manager know. I then left a note via the survey link they sent out with the same feedback. I heard nothing back. So a few days later I called and spoke with the manager. She said they appreciated the feedback and that her or the owner would call me back within a day or two to discuss the best way to rectify the situation. I still haven't heard anything so I don't think I'll be back. Disappointing when you look to a service to provide relief from chronic pain.

My therapist Melissa was amazing such healing hands. One of the best massages I've ever had. My sister in law came too and agreed with her session from another therapist too. I was able to get an appointment very soon. The schedule was open. So that was nice. Upon arriving at 67th street, you can park at the bottom of the hill or drive up the hill behind the building. There is a handicap accessible ramp in the back of the building. When you come in the back door you walk through the hallway to the main lobby. I was greeted and checked in then taken to the alphasphere room. Its located on the bottom floor and it did feel like a dungeon a little bit. Lol.. When you get to the room its glowing blue and the room is dark. I paid for the 30 minute session. Its a combination of vibrations, music and tones, and they have 4 colors to choose from. You lay in a special chair. At first i couldn't get comfortable. But then i finally dozed off and got relaxed. I chose pink which was a pretty soothing color. I do wish I'd have gotten the hour since i wasted 10 minutes getting into it. A hour may seem long so i feel 45 minutes would be the best because its not over doing it or under doing it. But they only offer 30 mins or 1 hour. Its an experience so if your expecting something special, its not going to knock your socks off but you'll feel peace and calm... Now the downside!! Theres a sound proof pad over the door because its supposed to be quiet, but it wasn't. Lol. I heard every conversation of people walking by, doors opening and closing, and etc.. The room is very quiet but just outside is all the noise!! So thats another reason it took time to get comfortable. I would try it again though. It was enjoyable. My massage therapist (Bridgitt) was very friendly and had a fun vibe. She helped me relax. She focused on my problem areas and we had good conversation. The facial was nice, it left my face feeling refreshed. Keep in mind this is a basic facial with hot towels and a face mask nothing extensive like blackhead removal, exfoliation, or anything like that. But still enjoyable. I left feeling light and relaxed. I would return for more services. It was a pleasant experience.

First of all when I walked in the owner was Doing something on the phone and barely acknowledged me when she handed me the intake forms. We had a little bit of exchange of information and she took me to the room where the procedure took place. There was very little information shared on how the procedure would go. I did share with her that I had had a bad experience in the past somewhere else. When the procedure started, I asked her if anything was coming out and she told me I needed to be patient. Fair enough. Five minutes into the procedure she receives a phone call that she says she has to take. It turns out to be an appointment for a conference call with people from her child's school and she tells me she needs to take it, but that they can't see me. She was on the call on speaker for about 10 minutes and then continue to work on me. She massaged my stomach with hot stones. She went very hard and very deep to the point that I Now feel bruised internally. Another half an hour and she receives another phone call this time an appointment with her personal doctor and yes, another conference call to discuss her Zepbound dosing. In spite of these two phone calls interrupting our sessions she Was very unapologetic and just said "life happens" both times. I found this to be extremely unprofessional. I had booked Three sessions and asked her for a refund on the other two since I didn't feel this was a good experience especially since I feel my stomach bruised and I had extreme and painful gas after the session. She's been very gracious about the refund. When I went to pick up the money, she told me she didn't realize she had gone so deep. I wanted to tell her that she probably didn't notice cause she was so distracted with her conference calls. I gave her two stars because I can imagine it being a different experience Had she not been interrupted So frequently.

I was specifically intrigued by their beer baths, and after researching the benefits, I decided to try one. I initially attempted to book online, but while the site mentioned a 50% deposit, it required 100% payment upfront, so I called to finalize the reservation. I used a 20% discount since it was my first-time booking. I decided to schedule the Brewing Calm Immersion, my session included 20 minutes in the sauna, a 60-minute massage, and a 60-minute soak. When I arrived, the owner greeted me and showed me my bath soak options: Hops Brew, Barley Blend, or Chai soak. I decided to try the hops brew which was a blend of hops, brewers yeast, malt, oats and Epsom salt. I also chose Eucalyptus, my favorite aromatherapy, for the diffuser used during my bath. After that I selected my drink from a selection of beer, wine and non-alcoholic options, which was also served during my bath. After making all my selections, I was escorted to a private room where, I changed into the robe and slippers they provided. They also provide access to Lockers with keys for you to secure your valuables.   My Experience  Sauna- Before entering they gave me a cup of ice water. I love the fact that I had the ability to adjust the temperature and lighting. However I wished there was some music in the background because sitting in silence for 20 minutes felt very long. Massage- I found the massage relaxing; however, the Pressure was hit or miss and I also feel like certain areas were neglected like my feet and head. Beer bath/soak - My favorite part of the day.  They pre-steeped the brew so the ingredients were already activated. I was originally concerned that the bath water wasn't going to be warm enough but I had 100% control of the temperature. When you enter the room they already have music playing and I had the ability to change the genre if I wanted. They also provide you with 2 large ice cube for you to massage your face and cool you down if you get too hot. After they get you all set up they dim the lights which was the final step in setting the relaxing mood. The Soaking tub was huge and I was just sinking into it. Loved, loved, loved it! Overall I truly enjoyed my time spent & experience at Pint and Peace. I would absolutely recommend stopping in for a day of pampering and I am looking forward to returning for another soak. This was a great kick off to my birthday month of self-care.

We did the sauna treatment, 60 minute massage, and bath and it was AMAZING! When we arrived, we got to choose our bath treatment - there were 3 options. Since I've never had a beer bath, that was what I chose. We also got the option of tea, wine, beer, or water for our bath. We also got to choose an essential oil for the diffuser during our bath. After making our choices, we changed into robes and went into the sauna. From there, we got 60 minute massages, and mine was AMAZING! I asked for firm pressure, and that's exactly what I got! After our massages, it was bath time. It was really neat because the treatment is actually in a bag that you put into the tub. It isn't beer but the dry ingredients that go into beer I'm guessing. I loved that they cut off the big lights and there's the option of a small switch light. There is also meditation music and the diffuser that adds to the relaxation. They also give you 2 big ice cubes to use on your face, neck, or just to simply cool the water if needed. I used on my face, and it felt SO good. I like that we had our baths in separate rooms but were able to move the sliding divider in the wall if we wanted so that we could still talk to each other! This was a 2 hour experience and I would definitely do it again. It was the perfect way to relax with a friend or take some time to yourself for a little self care!
