After calling over the phone to verify the earliest available appointment, I was welcomed to go in that same day! My insurance had just lapsed from my old job, and honestly paying out of pocket seems a lot more convenient than having to deal with insurance companies! First Chiropractic prices are honest and affordable! Their clinic hours are top notch! First visit was at 10am, the last two visits have been right at 5AM!!! First timing visiting a chiropractor--needed x-rays for my wrist. Sign in process was very simple, no judgement or negative energy whatsoever. Staff was attentive and helpful throughout the session. Once in the room, the Dr. Jerel Wottrich took his time assessing my injury and recommended I do a submersion session right after my x-rays. Turns out I did not have a fracture or sprain, just deeply strained tendons. Afterwards, I went to check out and there was no charge! It felt like a miracle because I expected a large bill. Dr. Wottrich worked miracles for my wife!! She hurt her back in late July and was in severe pain from her back, down her leg to her toes. To top it off, we had a trip planned for the end of August to travel overseas. My name is Adam. I first started going with my father to get his knee and back treatments for the last 3 years every 2 weeks. He's a truck parts salesman and lifts 100 lbs drums sometimes. Also, he's 73 years of age too. But after I noticed he had better stepping in his swag after a treatment, I honestly can say I witnessed healing at it's best in a professional clinic. Now, knowing that my father's condition improves and sustains great healthy results for two weeks, I decided to get my neck treatments because I was laying my head on the wall of my mother's apartment without a headboard. So, after 2 years, it was constantly hurting me. So, one morning I told Dr. Wottrich that I have been having neck pain myself because of that improper neck positioning so, I asked if he could treat it. So, he excitedly exclaimed "sure! We can take a look at it!" So, Stephanie took me to the back to do some diagnostic x-rays. He told me to come back in 2 weeks while he looked at x-rays and evaluate my condition to formulate a treatment plan. So, I came back 2 weeks later, and he explained how I can be best treated for my pain to go away. He started to work on my neck with certain chiropractic techniques and including some other treatments that after 40 minutes of treatments, I'm done and ready to go. He explained how to lay in certain positions in bed so I could best alleviate all my symptoms and pain if any at home until I came back two weeks later. At first, the initial treatment hurt my neck for an hour but I knew how great Dr. W is and his techniques and treatments. So, I had a lot of faith during that hour. But after that hour and ever since I have felt no pain in my neck after treatments because as a former high school athlete, I know that when you start working out on weights and football schemes, your muscles will be sore and painful at first when I started working out. And that's when you know that your workouts are going according to plan! And wouldn't you know it! It was the same treatment that not only alleviated my pain but more importantly, provided a "pep-in-my-step" and allowed me to live a pain free life. Yet, I injured my back three weeks ago and was given non-narcotic muscle relaxers and strong 800 mgs Ibuprofen. And the pain was great for nearly 3 weeks. It was an injury that I've had for nearly 3 decades of working in a warehouse. It has always been an irritating pain that left-and-returned yearly. But after I hurt it again, my PCP told me that I was allowed to go to a chiropractor and do treatments because my philosophy of my health is self-autonomous. So, I had an appointment with Dr. W and told him what the PCP said and he started to evaluate the condition and developed more techniques to treat both the neck and back pain. And as usual, my pain is gone for great while if any until I come back for my normal treatments. However, there was a period after I got my first 2 treatments where I had to wait for my new insurance to kick in which was about almost a month-and-a-half. Yet, within that timeframe, I had extremely very little neck pain. Miracles happen. My body attests to it! And I enjoy the free cup of coffee too. They even have Splenda! Yummy! Now, I'm sure all of you are thinking of me saying these great things because I'm self-seeking but of you knew my business then I can't lie as I have to remain honest especially in the Hippocratic Oath. And to humanity too. I come with my father every 2 weeks which we have been doing for 3 years from San Antonio. Yes, when you find a great doctor then it's hard to replace them so we stick to what is in our opinion and experience the best chiropractic center in Austin.
