I've been going to First Chair Dental before they became this large practice. They were Meyer Dental and then the practice got acquired ..... They used to be a small practice and very personable Lately I find that my cleanings are performed by different assistants and even the doctor that checks on me at the end, has not been the same consistently. If feels more like a well managed assembly line. I'm sure they're internally very efficient and making good money.... But I don't feel the same care, feel that my doctor and hygienist can follow up on me and my history without reading a screen etc I'll try to find a different smaller practice soon read more

staff was very friendly but they completely upsold their services. they want you to see their specialists and recommended crown replacements and gum work and scaling. I got another opinion which determined I needed none of those things. buyer beware. read more

I have avoided writing a review because I understand my experience is biased. It started with getting frequent texts asking me to drop everything to come in within an hour to 4 hours for an appointment cancellation. It's not really my style; I would have preferred asking me when a good time to schedule an appointment would be. No big deal. Here's where the truly unprofessional portion starts. Two months later and 9 months after my original visit. I receive a call that states my insurance has never been billed and now I am responsible for the balance and I will be informed by the end of the day? Why wasn't this handled or a conversation within even 30 days of the completed work? I switched insurance companies 4 months after my service and do not have access to any previous claim information. This place lacks professionalism and apparently competency. read more

Dr. B and Dara are seriously so amazing! I've been going here for 3 years. I am a nurse and this place puts their patients first. I truly feel cared for and listened to every time I go! I got a hand written thank you note for coming in from them. Who does that?! They feel like family and I would trust them with anything. I use to rave about Myer Dental, how ever once Dr Meyer joined Willow Creek Dental this practice spiraled down the drain. I think they have become the case of other large dental groups where they are told by the owner (Mary Blakeley) to do as much work as possible so she makes more money. I told the dentist I needed a permanent fix that was not going to cost me $20k. Fast forward a couple of years the bridge Dr Meyer placed came out and it took most of the tooth that was holding it in. Dr. Blankenburg put it back in as a "temporary" fix but only option I have at this point is $20k worth of implants. When he put the bridge back in it was not reseated correctly and now it is causing additional damage to other teeth. Dianne who is part of the Willow Creek Dental which this office is associated with should NEVER be in a position where she can speak with a human. Also, please now they alter or do not put in complete and accurate patience notes because the conversations I had with DR Meyer were not complete or not accurate. read more

Poor communication between the company. I had to wait an extended period (8.5 weeks ) for my crowns never got any updates.. Only one dental hygienist is worth it and she's amazing. She only comes in on Fridays once a month. When I first went there, they commented about a crown that I had in my mouth and said oh, they didn't do it, so well did they, after getting two crowns done there; their job was less impressive for two crowns-seriously . I can feel where the crown meets my teeth. I was going to bring more business from my family, but decided to go back to my old Dentist ( miles away). Not impressed At all- don't be swayed by a pretty office. read more

I do not recommend Meyer Dental unless you like being nickel and dimed to death. They have all kinds of charges that are never explained to you and are not billed to insurance but it's something you have to pay for. I did like the dentist and I really like the hygienist I thought everyone did a great job I just don't appreciate having to pay money out of pocket when my when my insurance covers at 100% I went to Dr. Meyer when she was out of smaller location and never experienced any of this. Dr. Meyer has since moved on and moved out of the country and isn't even a part of this practice anymore. I would just be careful about the billing practices here read more

My wife couldn't get home from work on time so though only the five year old was seeing the dentist the three year old and six-month-old had to come with. And we get out of the van, I discover the five year old didn't put his shoes on like I was told. Despite all of this, the office staff was very understanding and patient and accommodating and everybody over the age of the year got their teeth checked. Highly recommend read more

I have used Dr. Meyer for a few years now and would definitely recommend her practice to friends and family. Her staff is friendly & knowledgable. They are always punctual, which is a huge plus in any type of medical/dental practice. I have even had an experience where I was not pleased with the result of an appliance and Dr. Meyer took every step to make sure I was happy with the final outcome. They are great in the normal everyday times and work even harder to resolve any challenges that might arise along the way. I would definitely recommend this practice. read more

Nice is beyond these folks. I was seriously ill, scared I was going to die and before surgery of course I get a whopping toothache!!! The folks at Meyer's dental listened to my fears, help me through the week with a terrible toothache, even calling in a prescription while on vacation.!! On top of it they sent me Flowers. So Amazing and over the top in kindness! My husband won't have anyone else touch his teeth or clean them, he will wait however long is needed. He and I have both been through dental trauma and we think the Meyer office goes way above the norm. They are so gentle I could go on and on but kindness speaks for its self. I will be the first person to say I HATE THE DENTIST. I took the time to add Dr. Meyer's practice to Yelp and write her a review because she is seriously the best dentist I have ever had in my life. She filled two cavities for me without numbing me and I didn't feel a thing. She is very friendly and personable, has a great staff, and is all around an incredible dentist. I would highly, highly recommend her as your service provider especially if you have anxiety about dental work because she is compassionate and competent. read more

My husband has had good experiences. However, I unfortunately have not had the same experience. My daughter had a filling put in by Dr. Meyer and it fell out. Not only did it fall out once but twice. I am hoping the third time is a charm. On top of the filling falling out Dr Meyers arrived late for our third appointment. I understand that things happen beyond the doctors control. However, I am most upset that the doctor didn't have enough compassion to come out to the waiting room and apologize. She didn't even provide me with an possible explanation of why this occurred. in addition, she didn't provide an explanation on what she did different to prevent the filling from falling out a third time. I switched to this dentist from my old dentist of 16 happy years because I thought it would be more convenient. It has actually turned out to be less convenient due to multiple trips. read more

The Team at Meyer Dental have been incredible. The staff is very welcoming and friendly. They take a very personalized approach to managing your treatment plan. I never feel as though I'm just part of a billing cycle, like I have at some larger practices. Also, my wife is very nervous due to some unpleasant past experiences in the dental chair, but she is very comfortable in the hands of the Meyer team. I highly recommend the Meyer Dental. I went to Sarah Meyer's office in the beginning of August for a cleaning and x-rays. The dental hygienist was fantastic; she had me feel so comfortable. During my appt I felt like Sarah and her staff really cared to understand the way I felt about my own teeth. I explained that I had a filling in my front tooth that seemed yellow compared to my other teeth. They said I could get the filing replaced with whiter filling and so I scheduled an appt (which was easy and the gal upfront is so freaking nice!) Yesterday I went in to have my filling replaced and a chipped tooth filler replaced; Sarah and her assistant did an amazing job! I love the way my teeth look, everything blends and looks so natural. I have confidence in my smile again! Thank you Sarah and your team for making this a great experience. read more

I finally got myself to a dentist after probably 5 years of not going (oops!) and I'm so glad I went to Dr. Meyer. The dental assistants are all lovely and fun to talk to, and no one made me feel bad for not having gone to the dentist for so long. Dr. Meyer herself is also extremely nice and easy to talk to. I had to get my first ever fillings and I was so unbelievably nervous, but she kept chatting and laughing and helping me relax. Nothing hurt, and she was done quickly and it was no big deal. Are you one of those people who cringe or maybe even begin to sob when you have a dentist appointment looming in the near-distant future?... Well those days are over! Dr. Sarah's staff were informative, friendly and helpful. Taresa, one of the Dental Hygienists was very informative! She walked me through the process, and explained each procedure thoroughly. I now know more about the dental process and my teeth than I ever have! All of the staff were hilarious, welcoming and genuinely made me feel at ease (which is unheard of for a dentist's office!) I can truly say after this experience, I wish my check-ups were more than twice a year!! You are doing yourself a disservice if you do not come see Dr. Meyers and her staff! read more
