I came here because I didn't fully trust the advice of another dentist I'd gotten nearby. It's a long story, DM me if you want details. A second opinion was my point in coming here. Dr Wilkin is the kindest, most patient man. Every person in the office, from front desk to hygienist to dental assistant is top notch in professionalism, patience (they need it with this chicken) and KINDNESS. They also made the billing process make sense to me. This is another area of weakness for me...none of it is usually very clear to my mind. This was simple for me to understand. I would recommend this office to anyone, especially if you don't like going to the dentist. On to my experience...I have gum disease and am on the 4 month cleaning and had two crown preps on Thursday. Can I tell you I never felt a THING? After reading online reviews, I decided to give Brightly Dental a go. I am so glad I did. I have been going to see Dr. De La Paz for a few months now and I waited to write her a review until I had all of thoughts together. After several visits on my own, my mom decided to give her a try too after hearing how comfortable she's made me. I have to tell you that going to the dentist is probably one of my least favorite things to do but Dr. D makes it really easy. Her team works BEAUTIFULLY together and the staff members really treat each other like family which makes you feel extra comfortable in place you don't really want to be. Bring your checkbook or cash to save yourself the credit card fees. They offer an in-house plan that gets you your cleanings, and a discount on services which works well for those without dental insurance. They're a clean office with a team of people who genuinely care about you. I don't say this lightly; they really do care. You just have to go for yourself to see what I'm talking about but I don't think you will be disappointed. I sure wasn't. I felt really bad because my kids were on Christmas break and I didn't have anyone to watch them for my periodontic consult, so they tagged along. Dr. Boyesen was so gracious, and she even gave them snacks (after okaying it with me), engaged them in conversation, and didn't make me feel bad for bringing them. Not only that, but she was so great, very cheerful, singing to my favorite beloved 80s music, explaining things in great detail so I understood with my limited knowledge what was going on. I left there so happy and with the knowledge that while she could've easily told me I needed a (what I now understand to be totally unnecessary at this point) gum graft and charged me thousands of dollars, she instead reassured me, educated me and filled me with the Knowledge and confidence that everything is ok as of now. i feel exactly the same about their dentists. I have been to many dentists that advise multiple procedures that turn out to be unnecessary (e.g. biannual mouth cancer screenings with a "special light" that costs $180 each in myself who is a low risk patient without smoking history, under age 40 at the time) which is also never covered by insurance. But with Willow Creek, I have never felt like they're trying to scam me. I was sad when they moved to the tech center because I was literally 7 min from their Lone Tree office. But, a good, trustworthy, competent, friendly dentist is hard to come by and as far as I'm concerned, they can move to Paris and I'd still remain their patient because there aren't many out there like them.

I have dental phobia. For years, I've cried during every teeth cleaning, couldn't sleep before an…read moreappointment, worried all week about my appointment, etc. Enter Meadows Dental. I have THE BEST hygienist I could possibly imagine now. Amy takes her time, connects with me emotionally, senses when I'm feeling anxious and stops. On my first appointment, I had the sedation options explained to me and I started with laughing gas, though if needed, I could take prescription meds or they will even put you out under anesthesia to do your dental work. For me, I use the gas, lay under a comfy blanket with headphones and DirecTV on. It's a great environment and so very loving. I've progressed to not obsessing about my appointments, I'm able to sleep the night before and I don't cry anymore. I love Meadows so much that I referred my husband, who doesn't have a problem getting his teeth cleaned here. He didn't like his former dentist and tried Meadows (again- LOVE Amy!) and saw what I meant. We do not live close to Meadows- I'm up by the airport and it's in HR, but I will drive wherever for this type of care.

Both my daughter and I were given paperwork about what we would owe before we had the procedures done. They claim they got the estimates directly from our insurance. If so, how can they be wrong on what insurance will pay? I have paid my portion for what I was quoted and they now say I owe more. This is a scam. Insurance pays the negotiated fee, if this dentist wants more than the negotiated fee then don't take my insurance. My daughter was charged double what she was quoted! The office staff was rude and condescending when questioned about the additional billing. Their billing incompetence to get insurance estimates correct should not be the patients responsibility. This difference should be a write-off to the dentist and a wake up call to get staff that can get the insurance quotes correct the first time.

I'm writing this to help others make an informed decision, because I wish I had known what I was getting into. 1 Safety Issues During Routine Care During a standard cleaning, a hygienist accidentally disconnected a drill bit inside my mouth and it dropped near my throat. Their only instruction was "Do not swallow." I had to sit up slowly and hope nothing caused internal injury. You shouldn't have to fear for your life during a routine cleaning. 2 Extremely High Staff Turnover & Lack of Continuity In just two years I have had four different dentists. Each time I had to re-explain my treatment plan because there was no handoff or follow through. One dentist even told me he was frustrated with the management here, and he left shortly after. It does not feel like anyone is accountable for a long term patient relationship. 3 A Costly Mismanaged Aligner Treatment I was sold a $3,000 orthodontic aligner treatment that a later dentist questioned as unnecessary. I started on a monthly payment plan but was pressured to pay the entire remaining balance halfway through. Once a third dentist reviewed the case, he expressed confusion about the treatment choice and pointed out that the previous dentist may not have even placed the attachment buttons correctly. The practice then switched to a different aligner company because the first system was not working. At that point it became clear the entire treatment had been poorly planned from the beginning. The new aligners didn't fit, so the treatment stopped entirely. I've now been waiting over four months for a refund on services they did not complete. I've only received vague, dismissive updates like "We'll look into it." Meanwhile, they have no problem repeatedly contacting you if you owe even a few dollars due to insurance adjustments. Bottom Line If you value: Consistent care Clear communication Professional management Respect for your time and financial investment ...then I recommend considering other dental practices in the area. I genuinely hope Station Dental improves, but based on my experience, I would not trust them with further care.

Just like EVERY DENTIST you need to get all estimates up front. Most are run by corporate trying to extract every penny possible. Be alert and question everything! That being said I proceeded with a crown and fillings. Unlike another Castle Rock dentist who wanted to pull the decade molar, the suggested a root canal and crown. Perfect!
