A service man arrived within 15 min I was told I needed a blower, but because the furnace was so old I said I wanted to buy a new one.

To their credit, a…read moreplumber arrived within two hours and spent about two hours thawing the pipes, which I appreciated. I had shut off the main water line before leaving town for a few days, and upon returning, I followed their instructions to turn the water back on. Unfortunately, I then lost water pressure in both the kitchen and bathroom. I called to report the issue, and while they did send technicians back out, the process became frustrating. It ultimately took six visits over a period of time to diagnose and fix the problem, which turned out to be a simple cartridge issue. In my opinion, this should have been identified much earlier--likely during the first return visit. The total cost came to $866.00. On the final visit, I was asked to pay an additional $136.00 to replace a $23.00 cartridge, a repair that would have taken only a few minutes. I declined that charge. This last visit took place on March 30, 2026. Communication was also lacking, as some calls were not returned. While they did send someone out twice at no charge, no real progress was made during those visits. I have used this company for 16 years and had always been satisfied in the past, which makes this experience especially disappointing. Unfortunately, due to the high cost, inefficiency, and lack of customer care, I will not be using them again.

Lovely Plumbing did not complete the work within the 60 days as it wasn't completed until 2nd week…read moreof April 2014 I was told it was a weather factor that I would be responsible if something happen by Mike but weather was never on the contract as being a reason or a clause for not completing the work within the 60 days nor was it stated that the customer is responsible if something were to happen because of the weather. He said that it had to be above freezing for 2 nights which I believe that it was before then a few times but he said that it wasn't. I was never given any information regarding collecting the $50.00 per day fee when I asked him about it several times as he seemed not to want me to charge them for this fee. The City of Racine could've charged him as well for this as the homeowner. Then why have it in the Contract if it's not being utilized? I was never given any info regarding going through arbitration either when I asked him about it. Then why have it on the Contract? I was also charged for a pipe to be replaced in the attic above the kitchen area when Matt didn't even do that and the roofers left an opening for him to get into it from the roof instead of opening up the ceiling in my kitchen. Mike and Matt found that there was no more leaking from the pipe but I was still charged for it and never credited even when I said something about it nothing was done. Matt just put a rubber cap on the stack which caused even more problems because it wasn't breathing and the kitchen sink kept making gurgling sounds. I was told by Mike and Matt that it was working fine but it really wasn't as it plugged up the laundry tubs in the basement and the main pipe had to be cleaned out by another plumber because they were ignoring me again. False advertising as he says he's "Available 24/7." The bathroom faucet handle is loose and this was told to Brian as well too. *The new toilet was leaking badly last summer on both sides instead of just the left side as was before with the old one. The wing nut wasn't tight enough so it wasn't sealing as it should around the wax ring per my son. Don't know if this will take care of the problem or not. So far it's not leaking anymore but Thank God otherwise I'd still be sitting here waiting for someone to fix it that doesn't give a damn. I've already had to pay out a lot of money to get the main pipe unclogged in the basement from the cap that Matt put on the stack that was making gurgling sounds and not breathing properly. They both were told this several times but did nothing about it. Matt and Mike came out a few times to look at the drain in the kitchen sink as it kept making gurgling sounds and was testing it but wasn't whenever they came here so they said it was draining good which is obviously wasn't with the cap that Matt put on the stack above the kitchen sink on the roof as it overflowed into the laundry tubs in Aug. 2014 and I had to call another plumber to fix it as Matt wasn't answering my urgent phone call to him. They both came out here to wonder how to get to the pipe in the attic at the same time as the kitchen sink and never did anything with that as I was charged for it and it was never credited to my acct. Mike was well aware of this as I told him a few times but nothing was done about it. He didn't let me pick out anything that he put in like the faucet, toilet or silcock which was the last thing he put in. He spent the least amount of money on these items and got a lot of money for what little time it took him to do it. I still cannot shut off the silcock from the inside basement as it's in the middle and one plumber said it was rusted. So it's not by the actual faucet outside. Matt never even bothered to check this out at all. I was told by Mike that I would get a frost free one which it wasn't and it was the cheapest one they had at Home Depot. It was put on crooked and it also leaks. He fixed my kitchen faucet as it wasn't turning at all and the tub faucet that was dripping but had to come out twice for that to put another cartridge in. The toilet was really leaking again on the same side as the old one and when I told Brian about this nothing was done so my son had to fix it. He did clean out the tub drain in the basement as it runs slow and needs frequent bleach which Mike told me to do about once a month. Recently that didn't work so I had to buy some drain cleaner instead. I had to pay another plumber to clean out the main drain from the kitchen sink to the laundry tubs last August as they weren't draining and he had to auger it out and cut off the plug as it was rusted on. Plus he had to take the rubber top on the stack over the kitchen sink on the roof as it was making it worse by not letting anything breathe so I had to pay for him to go on the roof to do this. So I was charged for that as well as Matt never bothered to call me back on an urgent call that night nor the next morning and the City never bothered to pay me back for that either! NO

John Conner's Plumbing Company - Outstanding Service Every Time…read more John Conner's Plumbing Company has now come to our home twice, and both times they delivered excellent, honest, and professional service. They replaced our toilets and clearly explained every step before starting the work. They even pointed out a valve that was going bad, showed us the evidence, and asked if we wanted it replaced before doing anything. That level of transparency is rare and truly appreciated. They also fixed our outdoor spigot, cleaned out our pipes, and unclogged the sink. The plumber took the time to show us what was causing the issue and explained what to do -- and what not to do -- to prevent future problems. What I love most is that they always: * Arrive when they say they will * Provide a clear estimate upfront * Show proof of what's broken and what's been repaired * Work quickly but correctly * Leave everything clean and working perfectly This company does it all -- plumbing, carpentry, painting, and more. They are professional, honest, on time, and extremely knowledgeable. I highly recommend choosing John Conner's Plumbing Company. You will not go wrong.
