Was there afternoon of 9/10/23 browsing the beers and the checkout guy yells all the way across the room if I had any questions after I didn't grab anything. My fiance had one of their specials which was a hot beer served in a coffee mug. It's similar to mulled wine mixed with cider and was really delicious. We waited about 20 minutes just for drinks and eventually had to go up to the bar ourselves. There were 4 tales in the restaurant and like 8 employees Things did not improve from there. Our food came out very slowly and one of the meals had to be sent back. We ended up having to go to the bar multiple times, including for a to go box and even to get our check, because no one was checking on our table. To make matters worse, the menu states that guests are asked to limit their visit to 90 minutes. However, due to the slow and inattentive service, we were there for nearly two hours through no fault of our own. There also used to be a sense of customer service here, which seems to have changed. To top it off, gratuity was automatically added without it being mentioned or explained. That felt especially inappropriate considering we ended up doing a large portion of the service ourselves. It's like they figured they were getting auti gratuity so didn't provide any service Really disappointing experience overall. My son touched the bottle, so they said they couldn't sell it to us because he was underage. Okay, silly policy, but no big deal. I returned later in the day, and was informed that I was banned from ever purchasing anything in their store again, and that if I did not leave immediately, they would call the police and have me arrested for contributing to the delinquency of a minor. The woman "acting" as a manager was extremely rude, and even called me a "Karen" for asking questions because I said that made no sense given I made no attempt to purchase anything alcoholic at any point that day, or with my son in my presence. Of course, I ended up leaving because who needs the hassle, there are far too many other places to purchase alcohol or mixers in town, but I am very sad that my Wyatt's is not what it once was. Regardless of anything else, you just don't speak to or treat people that way, it's unacceptable.
