    Oil on the hood

I just drove my wife's car for the first time after a month of her getting her oil changed and her tires rotated. I got a smell of oil and popped the hood and the idiots never put the fill cap back on. Could've ruined my wife's motor and still might. If I could give negative 5 stars I would. Not a hard job and they still can't do it

Me standing at the counter waiting to checkout for 40 minutes. Car is ready. Zzzzzz....

Courteous, knowledgeable but didn't have the oil needed and couldn't get it. I had to order it from Amazon.

Truly baffled by my experience today. I've been to this location a few times, even brought my…read morefriends car in too. But after today I certainly won't be back. First and foremost everyone in store was fine - no issues and I wasn't upset with the situation. The car needed an oil change and I forgot to bring in the mailer stating their oil change special of 39.95. I told the lady at the counter but she wouldn't honor it because I didn't bring it in. Okay- annoying but whatever right? WRONG. They drained the oil but then couldn't get the filter out. I know this can be a common issue but to quote me nearly $400 PLUS the $80 oil change seemed insane. I called the last place that did the oil change and they completely took care of it/me. Now I paid the $80 thanked them and left. But I found the mailer and read every single word - nowhere does it state it needed to be brought in for redemption, it actually doesn't even say it's a coupon it says "oil change special" So I called the manager Blake, he was immediately rude, condescending and disrespectful. When I mentioned the tech drained the oil before taking out the filter he instantly remarked how "That's the ONLY way to do an oil change." (Truly, almost any mechanic can give you a different answer on what's right or wrong but that's neither here nor there). It was the immediate rudeness and talking down to me that really took me by surprise. I told the manager all I was asking was a partial refund since I had the ad and it doesn't say it needs to be brought in. He essentially told me too bad and again "EVERY store requires the coupons in person." He then offered that the coupon doesn't expire so I can bring it in next time. I told Blake frankly I don't know that I'll come back if this is how they treat customers. After a few minutes of back and forth regarding the coupon Blake told me I can bring the mailer in, he will write me a check for the difference, and to never come back to his shop again. P.S I called Amerifix of Franklin - I said I totally forgot my mailer at home can you still honor the coupon, they told me yes. I also asked if they usually drain the oil first or remove the filter, he said they remove the filter first. What a terrible way to do business and a terrible way to treat customers. Shame on you Blake.

If I could give this car wash zero stars, I would…read more I have been a paying member here for over three years, and until now I have never had an issue with how I use my membership barcode. I am particular about what gets placed on my vehicle, so for the past three years I have kept the barcode in my center console. When I arrive, I simply take it out and scan it. Not once during those three years has an employee told me this was a problem. I choose not to permanently attach the sticker to my windshield for several reasons. If I ever cancel the membership, I don't want to deal with removing the sticker or adhesive residue. If my windshield needs to be replaced, I also don't want to deal with replacing the sticker. Most importantly, it is my personal vehicle, and I should have a reasonable say in what is permanently attached to it--especially when the barcode works perfectly fine without being stuck to the windshield. On September 2, 2026, I pulled into the car wash as usual and took my barcode out to scan it. An employee approached me and told me that the barcode had to be attached to my windshield. I explained that I did not want it attached to my vehicle. She responded that it was company policy and then informed me that if I refused to put the sticker on my windshield, my membership would be canceled. After being a customer for more than three years, I found the way this situation was handled extremely disappointing. There is a significant difference between politely explaining a company policy and approaching a longtime customer with an ultimatum: put this sticker on your vehicle or lose your membership. If this has truly been company policy all along, why was I allowed to use my membership this way for more than three years without a single employee mentioning it? More importantly, why couldn't the situation have been handled with some basic customer service and professionalism? Whether you're running a car wash, gas station, grocery store, or any other business, customer service matters. Policies can be explained respectfully. There was no reason for an interaction with a longtime paying customer to immediately turn into a threat to cancel the membership. I was ultimately fine with the outcome and will be taking my business to Tidal Wave instead. There are too many other car washes available for me to continue paying a company that believes enforcing a windshield-sticker policy is more important than how it treats a customer who has been paying them for over three years. Very disappointing way to lose a longtime customer.
