Dropped off car at 8:30am. Firestone staff called at 9:52am advising wiper blades to pass inspection. I got wiper blades and called back at 11:15 am and asked when to return: "closer to 5 pm (per the earlier agreement) or now?" Per their advisement I returned by 11:30am. The inspector knew we returned and knew we put new wiper blades on. I went inside to pay and was told the inspector "Just went to lunch" and it would be "an hour wait." This was unexpected and uncalled for. They knew we were so close to finishing such a very short quick task. I called back on the way home only for it to get worse. Firestone staff advised to return sooner than later. I complied with Firestone staff's preference. The manager actually said out loud to me: "Ma'am, the world doesn't revolve around you," and pointed out that "Mr. Firestone is dead, " which was cruel and unnecessary. This is how they treat loyal customers of many years. Sad because that newer manager girl had been so nice in the past. read more

Generally, I am one to take my vehicle to the dealership to be serviced however, since the dealership was backed up for two weeks, they advised me to try a Firestone. I made an appointment and dropped my vehicle off at 8:50 AM. I called around 12 PM to see if they found an issue and I was told "We have a vehicle that is back there that we are finishing up. Yours will be next." About an hour and a half later, I decided to just sit and wait. Upon arrival, my vehicle was still in the same spot I left it and it had not been looked at yet. I sat from 1:50 ish to about 5 PM waiting on my vehicle. They did not start looking at it until about 4 PM and the vehicle was dropped off at 8:50 AM. I have never dropped my vehicle off anywhere for service and had to wait that long. I had an event I needed to attend at 5 PM and arrived late. Highly upset and unsatisfied. read more

Don't bother with state inspections here. The inspector doesn't know the laws and will fail you for BS. I had my approved by the national highway safety board HUDs which were marked as being not in compliance. I also had stickers above the mirror which also was marked as not being in compliance. The headlights had a film which too was not in compliance and was legit. They wanted $40 to clean the headlight glass. Called in to have it reinspected, was told that it would take all day, they were booked. Called in a few days later, same deal. Called in a week afterwords, was told I needed to leave it overnight and it may be looked at the following day. Frustrated, I brought my car to another place. The inspector at that location told me that my vehicle was supposed to be in the front of the line if it was up for reinspection per law. That a reinspection must take place same day, that the shop that inspected it must without delay provide the reinspection. Was instructed to call Firestone back. Called them, was given run around again on timing. Was told there was only one inspector at this facility. I completely gave up. Went back to the other place, my stickers were in compliance, my HUDs in compliance, just like I was told they were last year. I just had to pay another $20.00. read more

Horrible service. Took my car there to get inspection done. Took them 6 days to get the car back to me, and when I called before bringing my car there there was only 4 cars ahead of me, told it should be ready within the next day. Every single day I called to see what was going on with my car and when I'd get it back and not ONCE was I given a call back to know what was going on with my car. I was told it was 120 for the two parts they needed to fix (one of which they ""fixed"" 5 months ago!!?) and it ended up being 300 dollars?? Not to mention that I had to call them to check to see when my car was ready. Absolutely do not recommend this place. Staff is rude as hell. i wish i could leave a negative 5 stars. i paid 3128.66 to have my ac system fixed in may which ive had to take back 4 times for the same problem plus a weird beeping noise. the bank wont dispute unless i take it to another shop which will cost more time and money summer is almost over ive had no ac. every time i call they say bring it back so they can fix it when they obviously can't. i call and never get the supervisor on the phone or a call from the supervisor to give me a refund. i do not recommend their service at all!!! read more

Shawn, the new manager here is completely trustworthy. He WILL NOT up sell you anything you don't really need. I've been ripped off before a few times. The last time they tried, I told them to let me go to Navy Relief to get the money, but, I went to a place I had recently been to, I didn't need the brakes. My wife was told she needed work while I was on deployment, I told her to go to the Firestone, the work wasn't needed, so they didn't do it. That was in the late 1990's. I've followed Shawn to now the fourth location, he is the store manager now and the service is still the same. The last store was in Chesapeake, 20 miles in each direction. I have been a loyal customer for almost ten years and until recently, my trust with them was unconditional. Then I learned that a strut replacement was missing a bolt. Several follow-up inspections by Firestone failed to identify this SERIOUS defect which I learned later could have caused a fatal accident. The critical defect was observed by a Chevy dealership. I asked Firestone to refund the labor cost of replacement, as the part was covered under warranty and my requests have been ignored. I trusted them; however, they have apparently changed. this place appalls , I had my dodge challenger towed here for one flat tire. I admit Im not too swift when it comes to tires but I love to learn and now I am a tire, rim, road, thread expert. I currently have 22inch Lexani rims and Vredestein tires from the UK so I have no qualms spending money (think $10,000) on quality. Well good old firestone went ahead and ordered me 2 Pirelli tires ( so that the two front tires would have the same thread pattern ) they would take 1 week to come in, hence leaving me carless until they came in. My girlfriend actually is a rim/tire expert and told me I was a jack @ss for already leaving my car overnight in Firestones Parking lot waiting for 2 tires to come in snail mail. she called Kramer tires and they found me an equivalent that would be in the same day by noon! My girlfriend proceeded to call Firestone and asked if they could investigate a little bit better on their tire search, an hour later after not even hearing back from Firestone I just called the tow company and had my car towed 10 miles down the road to Kramer Tires. I arrived at Kramer at 3:00pm, at 3:04pm they informed me that all my tires are in perfect condition, my Rim is bent, causing a slow leak. They told me my options and I was on back on the road at 3:05pm. Thank you Firestone for ordering me $1000 worth of tires and letting my highly sought after vehicle sit in abandon lot. read more

I usually service my car my self since my service plan with Honda was up. But i was in a rush needed to make a long drive and wasn't able to do my own work in my new condo parking spot. New to Virginia beach at the time haven't serviced my car any where. Decided to go with Firestone . Never again. Customer service was nice and they serviced the car in the proper amount of time. BUT Upon reaching my destination 8 hour drive later , my car started to make some strange noises only what i can describe as a low helicopter sound. Now stupid me had have worked in a service center before I should of known to check my oil regardless before the long drive, never the less i distilled my trust in their work. Was too busy running around on my trip to look at my car and ended up coming home. Finally check the oil! NOT EVEN barely 3 quarts of oil in there! my car takes 5 . i made a damn near 800 mile drive on barley 3 quarts . Stupid me i know, but also shame on this shop. What about all the people that are not car savvy. Luckily no major damage and i corrected the issue. Mind you i have a newer 2016 model and since i have rehanged my own oil i have not noticed any leaks , so this is not a my car issue. This is the only place that I've ever seen that takes 4 days to get an inspection, wheel alignment and diagnose a loud clicking noise coming from my tire. I had an appointment and dropped it off. They called me the following day and told me they couldn't find the noise I complained about. I went back to firestone and didn't have to drive 20ft IN THEIR OWN PARKING LOT before demonstrating to not one but TWO of their employees where the clicking noise was coming from. The car was to be brought back on the lift according to the employee however that never happened that day. The next day I get another call from firestone and they tell me that they adjusted my muffler and that it was supposedly off center. I never wanted or requested them to do that nor did I give ANYONE the authorization to do so! The car STILL isn't ready. Day three rolls in the manager tells me that the car would be ready "one way or the other ' and that they would contact me when it's ready. An hour before closing no call from firestone. I called and was told that the car wouldn't be ready until the following day again. Day 4 rolls in. We'll see what happens now I guess?! Never Again! Shame on firestone!!! I am a repeat customer Firestone for many many years had my worst experience ever! bought the complete package for tires and lifetime alignment. Went to pick up car after they said complete. Walked out after paying for complete package and saw that is my old front tired still on, spare tire just thrown in the back of the truck, no caps on valves. 2nd day, left car and went to pick up bill was not correct, then was fixed correctly on several things. Keys were lost, mechanic went to truck looking for him looked all behind the counter and then after 10 minutes found them in the garage, finally was leaving went to truck and then went directly back inside and asked if I can have valve caps still not installed, it wasn't a good experience after spending almost $1,000 at store. I made an appointment for a tune up for my car at this location at 11 am. Dropped my car off and left. During the day, I didn't get any updates on my car so I called and was told they didn't have an update yet but they would call me back when they did. I never got a call back, not even before they closed. The next morning I called to check on my car since it had now been there over night with no update and they hadn't even touched my car yet! Their excuse was that they only had one mechanic working. If that was the case I should have been told that when I dropped the car off, or even when I called to check on it. Worst place to to get a new engine. The kicker is the front desk lady..who in which I had to call her out on trying to lie too me with the dates I had originally brought my truck in to put a new engine in..I took my truck in because something was going on with my truck. At this point it's 2 days from a yr in which I had it installed (warranty) She try'd telling me I was here a month ago - all nonchalantly without a care in the world..this is after bringing my info up on her computer, after her seeing I have my receipt, after she told me "No, you were here in July when you got your inspection"..Couldn't Bare watching 4K$ walk out the door by agreeing with her. Nasty look after I pointed to the dates. Of course, they can't reproduce what I was feeling nor hearing..This is after not hearing anything on the first day and now mid day. Couldn't get my drum off for inspection..That was another 2-3 hrs. My front window wipers stopped working. I took it in, and they kept it for six days before saying, we can't fix it and give up. I pick up the car and now my auto door locks and back wiper do not work, and the radio had been ripped out and put back in, disconnected and upside down. Manager Josh tells me, "oh well, sorry. We never touched your radio." How the hell does a radio get turned upside down and wires ripped out of the connectors if you didn't touch it? He says, "I don't know, but we didn't touch it." Apparently, elves sneak into the garage at night, since no one there "touched" my radio. No offer of making it better. He says he didn't charge me. Yeah, thanks for doing nothing to fix the problem, then breaking my vehicle three new ways and being so considerate as to not charge me for the privilege. Here, Complete Auto Care means, oh well, we can't fix it and give up and break your car for you. I would never take a vehicle here ever again, and am considering talking to a lawyer about suing for damages. read more

I brought my car an inspection and i knew i was going to get hit for my soft brake pedal so i went to Big Als Mufflers and Brakes a week before and got my master cylinder replaced and while i was there ii also got my cabin filter replaced. That was about 480$. So i brought it in for inspection and it failed for soft brake pedal. They called me on the phone and said my master cylinder was leaking. So i called Big Als and they told me to bring it in. The mechanic looked at the failed inspection sheet and it said i need a "new master cylinder and cabin air filter." The mechanic called Firestone and said the master cylinder was new and the cabin air filter was replaced. So he was wondering why the guy at Firestone told me there was a leak. So he asked about it. The firestone guy said no leak but the pedal is soft... then he responded with "why are you telling the customer theres a leak and needs all this work done when all of it is already replaced." On top off that they were trying to charge 630$! Anyways the Big Als' Mechanic said he was gonna look at my brake and ABS and let me know whats really wrong and if he didnt find anything he was gonna call the state police. In the end, my Brake booster was leaking pressure so Big Als only had me pay for the brake booster and they covered everything else. Moral of the story is, Firestone really do not know what they are doing and just trying to make a quick buck. They didnt look up the car history to see the work that has been done, wrongfully diagnosed problems that were fixed and gave me wrong information to waste my time and money. Absolutely not recommended. 1-They couldn't solve the problem 2-They replace an unnecessary part 3-That unnecessary part that they replace was way expensive than (my other service center) (3times $250 vs $700) Costumer service is very good they are nice to you ok. But they replace my break and advice that the noise will be gone. They charge over $700. I drove back to NY on the half way noise come back and my breaks turn out even worse than before. Thank god I had my own mechanic in NY who regularly service all my cars over 6 years. I was even more shocked when he told me that your breaks were in perfect condition last time when I inspected your car (3weeks ago) that noise was just simple cover (that protect from dust) was touching another metal and he just bend that metal with his finger and the noise was gone forever. He told me that break was not installed properly (no cleaning, no necessary lubricant and adjustments at all) He fix them all basically he just did it with a clean and proper way with the same parts than I saw the difference. I was very angry at them but I can't do much beside writing something here. They are 8hours away from me that time. I may be a small drop out of their costumer but I wish this feedback can save some other nice peoples money, time and patience. Be very careful and God make you meet with the right people. I don't know what the other reviews are talking about. This location offered me great service. I take my car to Firestone for all my car needs and I always have a pleasant experience. At my latest visit in this particular location, they changed my key FOB's battery because it was dead for free. Without even asking me, I like that they usually like to go beyond what you originally came in/asked for when it comes to services. Which is great considering they are always busy.
