Honesty! I generally take my car to Honda as I have lifetime free oil changes for my Honda Si and they tell me all the suggestions that need attention to my car. Dealership services are over priced and knowing I can take my car to Firestone and the prices are much more reasonable is the reason I continue to go back to the Lake Elsinore Firestone. I've noticed there is no high turnover rate in staff as the same staff has been there for the past two years I have been taking my car there and this is why I will continue to take my car there for all my future auto needs. Classic rip-off mechanic shop with lazy mechanics who only fix what they feel like fixing. Brought in a car last week because of a burning smell. Was charged $700 for work that was completely unrelated and said the smell was probably just in my head. A few days after bringing it to the shop my check engine light came on. I took it back and they REFUSED SERVICE. On the phone the first excuse was that my car was "too small" and would take them "too long". When I arrived to pickup the car they gave a different excuse saying my car was "brittle" and they didn't want to touch in case a piece fell off. I took it to a mobile auto service and immediately he found several oil leaks, proving that Firestone straight up lied about inspecting my car and charged me $700 for services they very likely knew I didn't need. read more

Everyone was so helpful and they were so honest as I was given a auto diagnostic quote and they came back and reduced the quote to $19.99 (was $60) without me saying anything. Also while my car was there I had made a couple changes and ended up just doing the test (my Honda warranty kicked in) where they were so flexible and cooperative working with me. We left our vehicle here for between two to three hours for an oil change and TIRE ROTATION as advertised and requested!!! We got the same tires that are in the front of our car not rotated with the better ones in the back? Why not? So I called and complained about it! Craig I believe I spoke with said bring it back and they'll make it right! We'll my wife has been sick and I've been working but I stepped in just now (the following Friday) and Craig says if we can bring it back in the morning? The bay doors are open, people are working inside and outside of the buildings, so why not accommodate the customer by rotating the tires already! We came here two times now and they keep falling short! Come here if you want bad sleep and the same tires in the same place, no ROTATION. Not the end of the world but it doesn't help me look on the bright side either! Went back and they promptly took care of things, thank you guys! read more

I came to visit this place on November 4th for a tire replacement and was surprised to see that the Express Tire logo was nowhere to be found. I thought for a minute that I was lost. The Express Tire company was recently bought off by Firestone effective October 17, 2018. The owner of Express Tire has decided to retire and gave Firestone the opportunity to continue the business under their name. The facade of the building was renovated and changed the color in I believe dark pumpkin. How convenient for the color motif choice, being the Halloween just passed and now gearing up for the Thanksgiving Holiday. A lot has changed inside as well, including the crew. I miss a lot of the guys, like Hector, who took care of my auto repair and tire needs since 2005. Although more than half of the crew members have departed, I was really glad to see Mike, the Shop Manager, and Rocket, one of my favorite mechanics, still around to lend me the assistance. Happy to meet the new crew as well. They are friendly and courteous. What I like about their new policy, Firestone caters to a lifetime wheel alignment for the length of time the vehicle is owned. Express Tire had this option for several years until the company decided to remove the policy, which was quite disappointing. At any rate, I will continue to pay this place a visit for any of my vehicle maintenance. read more

I want to give a shout out to the team at Firestone Complete Auto Care in Temecula for demonstrating there professionalism and great work ethics. Liz the store manager was very pleasant and knowledgeable and technicians Nick and Albert demonstrated their professionalism and courageous leadership in tackling a tall order to fill. I recently installed a lift kit on my SUV and replaced the upper control arms. In doing so I knew it needed to be four wheel aligned. I was not sure if they would turn me away because I had altered my suspension but the team at Firestone tackled the job. I could tell this alignment was not an easy set toe and go. These guys took their time. Halfway through the alignment I remember hearing Nick say "It's good but I want to get this alignment perfect". Those are the kind of things you want to hear from someone who is working on your car. As an auto technician (without an alignment rack) and as consumer.... I highly recommend the life time alignment. It's a great value if you plan to keep your car for awhile and this location has proven to be an asset to the community. This Firestone Complete Auto care off off Winchester. I have had a horrendous time with the place. Took my car in for them to re look at the brake job they did. and they stated I needed a break fluid flush and a coolant flush along with replacement of my CV joints. after this work was completed I took my car home and accelerate up a hill and my engine threw a rod making my car inoperable. had to tow it back, and said they will take care of it after the 4 July weekend. they towed it to the dealership and as of today said they are not going to fix it. I went to Firestone because it was right down the street from my house. I just needed new breaks. 600 dollars later I came back with more problems then when I went there. As soon as my car was done my breaks started making this awful sound and my break light was out. I took it back 3 times and they told me nothing was wrong. Every time I went I waited anywhere from 3-6 hours each visit. The 3rd time I went back I told them my break light was out. And they said they would fix it free of charge well when I got it back my break light was still out. My friend then told me he would change it for me. When he took it apart he found out that the whole electrical was burnt out and broken. So either they lied to me and didn't even check my breaklight. Or they broke it and said they fixed it. I took my car to the dealership and he fixed everything and told me they put the wrong break on my car. So long story short I will NEVER do business there again! read more

Not happy with this place. I've bought a set of 4 tires previously here and attempted to maintain tire rotations with them but it's a half day event to get a rotation, which should take 20-30 minutes, so I went elsewhere. 2 of the tires I've received had issue so I've previously purchased 1 for a total $141 with discount for tire exchange. Today I attempted to replace the second tire and they are trying to charge me almost $250. I went next door and paid $70 less for a better tire with tire rotation. read more

Been coming here for awhile, place is always understaffed and they don't properly quote times. Called ahead to make sure they could accommodate me as a walk in for a flat repair or replacement. Was told it would take 3 hours to do, I sat and waited the 3 hours no update and when I checked I was told majority of the people were sent to lunch and my car still sitting in the parking lot untouched. I demanded my key and went to Ramona Tire and auto service who had actual people working the front desk and a full auto bay of working mechanics, was in and out in 45 minutes. Avoid this Firestone if you value your time. Never again. Also I complained and the manager gave me a haphazard apology and no incentive to make up my experience to return. read more

They are false advertising...COMPLETE AUTO CARE? If you don't service Diesel how can you be a complete anything considering how many diesels are now on the road. Should be partial auto care. Secondly the service manager seems to not like people much. His attitude towards people is completely disrespectful. I think he feels like he's there only shop in the area when he's next to three other service shops. If you're in the area andneed service try pep boys where they don't seem to have this same issue. This was probably the worst tire shop experience I've had in my adult life. I was the second customer in line when they opened. I bought four new tires. Easy right? It took over five hours to install. This is part of their bread and butter. It should be quick. It should be easy. I've had done it at a competitor, such as Costco, in under an hour. Why did it take so long? Incompetence. They apparently tried to place the wrong tire on the car for three hours. I drive a standard common sedan. Nothing special. It then took them two more hours to correct it. Wow. We remained patient, polite, and calm. When the clerk realized we were there for five hours all she could do was chuckle. No discount. No apology. No explanation. I'm going to pay to get these tires rotated elsewhere just to avoid having to go to another firestone. Hopefully you guys have better luck then we did coming here if you decide to risk your day on it. Maybe make an appointment. read more

We called and spoke to Amir to ask what it would cost to fix a windshield wiper damaged in a car wash. He said the diagnosis would be FREE. Amir said no appointment was necessary and they could diagnose it when I brought it there. On 9/21/21, I brought the car in the next morning at 10:30am. I was told there would be a 2 hour wait and the diagnosis would cost $112!! When I asked why Amir had lied, the sales rep said there was a "miscommunication". He said they needed to see what car I had before giving me a diagnosis quote. This was not told to us on the phone. We were simply told the diagnosis would be FREE. I refused to be scammed so I left and told them to pass a message to Amir I said, "Tell Amir he wasted my time". I reported this store to corporate and will take my business elsewhere. I was told I'd receive a call from an Area manager within 2 business days. However, within minutes of leaving a Google review was called by Amir at the same Firestone I'd just left. I asked why I was being contacted by him and not an Area manager. He said, "No, that's me, I'm the one you speak to". Then proceeded to lie to me more, claiming he never said the inspection would be free. I quickly ended that call and reported him once again to corporate for his dishonesty. The person (below) who responded to this review told me to email them regarding my complaint. They never replied to my email. When I called corporate, Lola told me I'd get a call from the area manager within 48 business hours. I never got one. After some persistence I was able to speak to the area manager. He offered to have the repair done at no cost to make up for the trouble. I appreciated that gesture and have therefore upgraded the rating I'd originally left. read more

Because my car is recommended to use 0w30 moter oil and its really hard to get, they USED TO always change it for me, I just brought my own oil. Not anymore! So for having stupid rules like this, you have lost a very loyal customer. Won't be going back and I recommend that nobody else does as well. Came here yesterday with my father on New Years Day (1/1/22) for the first time- after an extreme flat. Was 1 of only 3 places open for the holiday. Context: (My father removed my flat tire and we brought it here with a different vehicle.) They looked at my tire for about 15 min, then proceeded to tell us that because I drove on it with the rim- the tire is done for and we should just purchase a new tire.. My dad used to own his own junk yard in the 90s and did not believe it for one second. We drove 1 minute away in the same shopping center to the only other open place PEP BOYS and they fixed my tire good as new!! And for FREE!!- and said happy New Years. :) First time here, will be my last. Seems even more dishonest considering everyone is well aware that it is the holiday and they are 1 of few open....or maybe just unable to complete the task that another business can do... who knows. But for sure will not be returning to Firestone. read more

Never doing business here again! I spent a lot of money here with tires and alignment with 3 vehicles. Do I decided to stay with them and give them my business. I called before going asking for a set of tires to be mounted on my Subaru with an alignment. They looked me up in the computer and told me if I hurried down in 20 minutes that they could do that today. I rush down there, and to my surprise I was turned away. Rep told me that there tire machine needed repair and didn't want to mount my tires because of fear of scratching rim. Why wasn't I told this on the phone? What about the other poor customers there. Did you just lie or didn't care about the customers who showed up? What about their rims? Not a very good way to run a business. STAY AWAY!!!! I had a bad experience here. I only came for a 19 point vehicle inspection to drive for Uber. After looking at my vehicle the mechanic told me that my back break light bulb needed replacing. (I saw that both of my rear break lights were working when he backed my car up to pull it into the garage) He said it would only be about $4 for the bulb. I told him to go ahead and do it. After about 15 minutes he comes back and tells me I have bad news. He tells me its one if the inside break panels that now needs replacing and that they're kind of expensive. At this point I told him to put it back together and I'd do it another time. I knew I was being lied to at this point. Miraculously, both of my rear break lights were working fine after that.
