So much better than all the other locations in the area. I dropped by just to get the air pressure checked because my tire pressure light came on. The associate was really friendly and helpful when he told me that the rear right one was significantly lower than the rest. He recommended that I come in to get it inspected as soon as possible, just in case, since it was going to rain the next day. It was a good thing that I did, too, because there was a giant nail in the tire! They were able to repair it, so it didn't cost me anything other than my time. The wait for walk-ins was only about 1.5 hours, which isn't bad at all considering how last-minute it was. The associate who helped me with it was also super kind and made the entire process extremely easy. Their tire pressure station is also a lot more efficient and organized. There's always someone ready to pump up your tires, while the other location near my house has an insanely long line because there's usually no associate there ready to work the machine. Called for 4 new tires and was happy with the quote and made an appointment for the next day at 9:45am. I was there at 9:40am, got checked in. Salesperson was friendly and polite. However, it took 55 min, before they even started working on my car. What is the point of making an appointment when it takes that long just to get started! After the job was finished, I brought it up with the tech and he claimed I didn't have appointment and brushed me off. 15 min after I left, I realized I was not given a receipt or any kind of paperwork so I had to drive back. Again, I brought up the issue with the salesperson about the appointment time and the long wait. He then acknowledged that I did have an appointment but that they had not checked me in as an appointment but as walk in. He brought up that at some point, in the future, they might have a guarantee if it's not done in a certain amount of time, you would get reimbursed but that doesn't help me now since that policy doesn't actually exist. I did ask, since he brought it up, if they would take something off the price (I wasn't asking for a full reimbursement or free tires) or do something to make it right but the answer was No. They weren't going to do anything. TLDR: They made a mistake. They admitted and acknowledged thier mistake. They did nothing to try and make it right. They did not care about me or respect my time. I went here for tires on my van; what you think would be simple and straightforward considering they're a tire shop. Not the case. After being told my van would be ready that same day, I was called an hour and a half after the agreed upon pickup time informing me that my van wouldn't start. I told them to install the tires and I'd have AAA come get it out of their hair that next day. They said no problem, they'll just use floor jacks where it sat in the parking lot. I called at opening to discover the work had yet to be done and was told it would be just an hour. I then called 3 hours later to check, the work still hadn't been done, but it would be just another hour. I gave them 2 hours before my next follow up and was told again the work had yet to be started and that it would be..you guessed it..just another hour. This time they were correct and I received a call telling me my van was ready for pickup. I scheduled the tow truck driver and met him there. When we went to load the van it started right up, no issues and was driven onto the flatbed. Once the van was home, it again started and drove off under its own power. I then discovered damage to both rocker panels and front fenders...whoever did the work decided that the body was the best place to use as a jack point, rather than the 11 feet of steel frame rail. Long story long, they submitted a damage claim and now after a 3 week process with the adjuster I was told my van is a total loss...the damage caused by one incompetent employee totaled my vehicle. The cherry on top here is that the fair market value of my van is lower than the payout I've been offered, so replacement without any out of pocket y expenses isn't in the cards. This isn't my daily, but it is my family's weekend adventure rig we take camping, traveling, etc. I'm now left with no vehicle to enjoy the weekend trips and vacations with my family. One person at America's Tire took that from us. I've been a customer for years, but in good conscience don't think I can trust them with any of my vehicles moving forward. The phantom 'no start' issue certainly threw a curveball in what should have been a straightforward service..but at no time did they ever try to start the van on that second day...and if they had done so, I might still have my van. The excuse/explanation I got was that the employee was new and since most newer vehicles used pinch welds as jack points this was an honest mistake... I don't care who you are or what 'experience' you think you have, but using body panels to jack up a 6800lb van is ridiculous. Metal doesn't bend quietly so after doing one side, why on earth continue on the other.. Is this perhaps an outlying situation at a shop that otherwise had a pretty solid reputation, maybe..but beware that on any given day someone under qualified and authorized to use tools may take your vehicle from you and your family. read more

Disappointed with Warranty Service & High-Pressure Sales. I purchased Bridgestone Alenza tires from America's Tire, advertised for 60,000 miles. I did every rotation and maintenance with them every 3-4 months as recommended. At only 30,000 miles, the tires were worn out. They offered me a $158 per tire proration credit, but only if I purchased new tires from them -- at a much higher price than other shops. They refused to match competitor prices or let me use the credit elsewhere, which defeats the purpose of a warranty. On top of that, every time I go in, whether for a simple rotation or service, I feel constant high-pressure sales tactics. It's not just me -- I've seen it happen to other customers in the store too. This review is solely based because I'm missing my valve stem caps.. my husband took one of our vehicles here to get new tires and they kept my bullet valve stem tire caps and didn't put them on my new tires nor return them to us. Just little note to let you know that the staff here lead by "Nader" was on point. My wife bought tires from Toyota of Temecula and had one leaking for almost 3 weeks and had to put air in each day to keep the care drivable. We called the dealership, and they said we had to make an appointment to have the tire looked at. the next appointment provided was 2 weeks away. We had to get this looked it, I called America's Tire, and they said bring it on on down and they would check it out. We dropped of the car and they found the issue and corrected it. The tire was not correctly installed on the rim. They reseated the tire and all is good. They were fantastic and helped us determine the next location we shall purchase tires from. Ordered tires and had an appointment last Tuesday to have them put on my car. I work at home but due to a boss that doesn't respect boundaries, I was late leaving for my appointment. Add the unbelievable traffic on Winchester (5 miles, 25 minutes) when I arrived I was vey late and asked about rescheduling the appointment. The young man who helped me (wish I'd gotten his name. His customer service skills were amazing) said they'd take care of me right then. In no time at all, I was on my way home riding on my new tires. Honestly, not a lot of businesses I have dealt with lately seem to focus on customer service, let alone go above and beyond. I have been a customer for years and have always been very pleased with the customer service provided; however, today was horrible! I literally was waiting for someone to come and check my tires for over 15 minutes and not one person came over to assist me. There were many people working on cars right next to me and other staff moving cars in and out and they all saw me waiting, but not one person offered assistance. I thought that maybe they did not have enough staff to have anyone out there filling up tires, but if that is the case, they should take away the cones that invite you to drive up to get your tires pumped up. Or at least one of the employees should've came over to explain that no one was available. But none of that happened and I sat and waited and finally I just left. I sure hope this is not the type of customer service or lack of that I will get again. read more

Let me first say, I love American Tires. I get all our tires from them. That's why my stars are still 4 BUTTTTT I so wanted to give yall a 1 star for our most recent experience! They're normally so on top of it but we had to get our tires checked for air early on a Monday and we waited for 30 mins to have anyone even acknowledge us. I called into the office to inform them that there's a line forming at the air check station and still nothing. None of the workers would even look at us. We had to call someone over to ask if we can get some help or if we have permission to use the air on our own. We had to eventually leave cuz we are trying to get to work. Again, this is so unlike them - I'm commenting here to say either don't offer it at all, or give people permission to use it on their own or give it more attention. read more

Guess with all this waiting I have time to write a review. Let's start with CONS: Appointment scheduled for 4:00 pm. Arrived and checked in with technician at 3:45 pm. My vehicle still parked where I left it at 4:00 pm... still parked where I left it at 4:15 pm... still parked where I left it at 4:30 pm... my vehicle finally getting worked on at 4:35 pm. SMH. 5:03 pm got the hilarious text stating "Your vehicle is ready to pickup at 40885 WINCHESTER RD. Call 951-296-5350 if you have questions.Next Visit Tip: Buy & Book online for a 30% shorter avg wait time." The last part of that text message. SMH. 5:15 pm back at America's Tire. Rear passenger TPMS indicating low pressure. Technician gets a gauge, reads rear passenger pressure to be 36 psi and the driver's rear to be 40 psi. States "it's not too far off." What!?!? SMH! I literally just drove off from having you guys install new tires. I don't think asking for the proper tire pressure in ALL my tires is too much to ask for. Air added and checked. Drove off at 5:25 pm. SMH. I literally was on the fence about writing/posting this review I started while waiting. Thank all the techs in the garage who were just looking at me, not acknowledging me at all, knowing I was back because something was wrong. Gonna CC this review to regional/corporate. I've been a regular customer for over two decades taking more than five different vehicles for complete set tire purchases and install. The last few years I have seen how this location really has no sense of customer service. I've read other reviews about this location trying to pressure upsells by posing safety risks of repairing vs fixing/patching. I can attest to this based on an experience last year with another vehicle of mine. I had a slow leak in my rear driver's side tire and was told it was unsafe to repair. Got spare put in its place and patched up the bad tire myself at home. In another instance earlier this year, my wife had a nail in one of her tires. She was told to buy a new tire instead of patching up. They patched nonetheless and the tire continued to function normally. I have actually taken one of my vehicles earlier this year to M.V. Tire & Auto (abbreviated so it does not appear I'm promoting a specific business) in Murietta, CA and they did an excellent job and provided great customer service. I only write this to let reviewers know there are other good options besides this place. Lastly, not sure if having a minor/child (7-11 year old) walking freely in the garage shop while vehicles are being worked on is a good idea. I'm sure in their defense it was one of the employees kids which makes it ok. SMH. WOW! As I write this while waiting... Another customer stating she has been waiting for FIVE HOURS. Tech at the counter telling her there are NINE cars ahead of her!! Further, it was super inappropriate the technician told her not to worry and that she would get to her Chinese New Year. Her ethnicity? SMH. (The other customer sitting next to me also felt the cringe when the technician made that comment.) PROS: They price match. They are fast with getting tires they don't have in stock from other locations. That's about it. America's Tire, no need to generate that automated reply.
