I came in for the trifecta: 4 tires, oil change, and new wipers. Did my homework the day before, called ahead, went over which tires were in stock, and made sure the timing would fit my 3 hour window. Appointment locked for 11am. I'm responsible, I'm early at 10:30, I hand over the keys... and then I get hit with, "sorry, had to order another tire, might not be ready until 4 or 5." This is a work night for me. I wake up at 4am, so dragging it out that late was tough. Respect where it's due: the crew in the shop was busting it, super respectful, and they even explained some folks didn't show up that day. But here's the thing, none of that changes the fact that I finally got my car back at 7:35pm after they closed. The store clearly has value, and the guys working there know their stuff, but planning and execution matter just as much as customer service. I came in ready for plug and play. Instead, it turned into plug and pray. Respect for the hustle, but I can't co-sign waiting all day when we had it squared up in advance. That's a 2/5 for me. read more

I arrived at my appointment at 12:38 and it was scheduled for 2 pm (the car was inspected at 3:20pm). Fuzzy deserves five stars too! The fact that he is willing to help the shop speaks volumes about his character! *He wasn't supposed to be at work today*. He provides a straightforward explanation of the causes of my problems. Now ANDREW zero stars. He claimed that it would take a long time for my car to be seen, just for him to get to the garage and sit and watch others work. Why not help your staff as a'manager'? This is beyond an incompetence and bad customer service review.. My family and I are to the point where we may have to get a lawyer or contact the local news due to this companies damages they caused to my vehicle and lackadaisical attitude in regards to it. They are putting us in a financial crisis due to their own incompetence and mistakes. I was supposed to have a standard brake/rotor change on 1/10/24 to my 2017 Hyundai Sante Fei. The supposed "certified mechanic" ended up stripping my brakes of an essential pin/lock mechanism that holds my breaks in place that they cannot replace at the store. The store manager "Fuzzy" said that it now has to be towed to the dealership. Initially "Fuzzy" the manager attempted to LIE and blame it on whoever, "did my brakes before", however when I made him aware that this was the first time my brakes had been serviced he became very nervous and said he had to make a few phone calls and call me back. When he finally called me back he stated that they are taking "full responsibility" and that they made a claim with their claims department and that the claims dept will be contacting me "tomorrow".. I emphasized that I cannot be without a car as I have small children and work full time at a hospital.. We did not receive a call back until 4:30PM with them stating that they were going to provide me with a rental car.. At that point, since Enterprise rental car closes at 5, I told him that I wouldn't have been able to get there before closing anyways and that we had to rent a car out of our own pocket for a week to prevent being left stranded without a car and asked if Firestone can reimburse us for that rental. The store manager "Fuzzy" then said that "You would have to take that up with claims when they call you tomorrow". We'll NOW it is almost a WEEK later(1/16/24) and we have not heard from ANYONE from the claims department from Firestone despite our daily attempts to communicate with the manager at the Firestone store. He only continues to tell us that it is out of their hands until they hear from claims and their own insurance. Meanwhile my car has been sitting in the back of the Firestone parking lot un-drivable for almost an ENTIRE WEEK because it has to be towed to the dealership where they will likely have to order a part that can take up to ANOTHER week there! Meanwhile, come to find out through Enterprise rental car(because now I have to extend my rental for at least another week), that Firestone had ONLY approved a rental car for me for ONE DAY! Then, with repeated attempts to contact the Firestone store manager, they continue to tell us there's NOTHING they can do until they hear from claims/their own insurance again! Meanwhile, I'm having to pay even MORE than my brakes would've cost in total there, in multiple weeks of car rentals since they have me stranded without a vehicle! The ONLY offer a different store manager "Andrew" at Firestone gave me, after me sternly voicing ALL these concerns, was to give me a rental car on Firestone for TWO days! To which I said that STILL does not help me as my car has not even been towed to the dealership yet, and this process could take weeks! We offered to have my car towed to the dealership through our own triple A service, however, the store manager said that can possibly void the claim so that we could not do that. I asked to speak with a District or corporate manager, to which the store manager said that would not help and would not give me the number for them either! He said that they would just tell me the same thing anyways! This has been beyond a nightmare and my family and I are now in financial crisis because of this companies complete incompetence, lack of responsibility, accountability and compassion for their own terrible mistake.. I will more than likely have to contact a lawyer now as clearly this company has no intention of rectifying this problem, and are dragging their feet to give us any answers, that THEY CAUSED for me and my family.. I urge anyone and everyone.. STAY AWAY FROM FIRESTONE TIRES AT ALL COSTS! They are a despicable company! read more

Took my car in because it hesitated when I accelerate. The engine light blinked on and off. The guys at the counter with a beard agreed that it may need a tuneup. Two days after getting my vehicle back same problem. Went to see this same guy, you can tell he was stressed because he was the only one working at 7AM. He looked up my account and said a diagnostic was not performed because he took my word. Imagine my surprise when a professional mechanic tells me that he took my word for the problems of my vehicle. Then he said, a diagnostic would have cost $100. I would have paid the cost to get it done correctly. I guess I looked like I didn't have the money to pay the fee. Nevertheless, I should have followed my first mind when my daughter had issues with these same folks. read more

This Firestone is just ok. The receptionist was nice and treated me when I came in. I arrived at 8:30 am and was surprised it wasn't a lot of cars waiting. I just wanted an oil change. It's 10:15 am and I'm still here. I will be leaving soon. The receptionist did find a discount for me so that is always a plus!!!! I did notice prior to them giving me back my keys they did sanitize them so that was much appreciated. I will continue to come here because the location is very convenient. read more

This morning (5/18/24) around 7:30 am, I called Firestone and explained repairs I need to my vehicle. I talked with Andrew. The interaction started off positive. I asked him if they would be able to get my car seen today. He responded bring it now and we will be able to get it in pretty quick. Around 8am, I dropped my car off there. After 4 hrs., my car still had not been at least looked at. I called and Andrew said he was waiting on his master tech to look at my car which sounded like bs. They just needed to check a idle pulley on my car which isn't a hard job. I went up there to get my garage opener and house key and saw several techs just sitting with an open bay but my car had not been checked yet. I went to Andrew and he said that he was still waiting on his master tech (i.e. still letting other people's cars get checked before mine). I left after he said my car would be looked at within the next hour. I went home and came back at the one hour mark and my car was still sitting in the same place I had initially left it. I walked inside and told Andrew to give me my car keys. He didn't give an apology or anything. I got my keys left and took my car up the road to a place that has better reviews and they were able to get me right in. I chose Firestone initially because I have had pleasant experiences with them. However, now I understand why the Snellville location has horrible reviews!! I'm never going back there after this. Andrew was completely full of it. I would have respected if he would have been honest and give me the option to choose to wait instead of attempting to feed me lies. If I could give -1 stars I would. My sons 2014 Jeep need front brake pads replaced. He does have locks on the lug nuts and they could not get 1 lug nut off. They asked me if I wanted them to cut it off. Thank God I asked how much it would cost!! They quoted me 221.00 !! The break pads themselves were going to be 250.00. I asked them being a full service place how come they could not get it off and then was going to charge a crazy price to do so !? I had them put the Jeep back together and I took it to Mavis tires in Buford ( by the Walmart at 985). They got both front tires off and charged me 300.00 for the break pads and no additional charge to get the lug nut off! I do not recommend the Firestone that is located behind the Mall of Ga. read more

I needed tires so I called and spoke with Josh who was most helpful. Although he was gone for the day when I arrived he had the tires and staff waiting on me. Upon arrival I was greeted by Sam who gave great customer service, I had questions he answered them all... Often times as a woman going to an automotive shop you are overcharged or they try to sell you things that you really don't need.. That wasn't the case here. The manager Chris was awesome.. They stayed there late to finish my car. This morning I received a call from Josh to see how I was enjoying the tires and to reiterate about the warranty.. THE BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE!! Had my tires rotated and my alignment checked before taking my car on a 9.5 hour trip. I called ahead to let Jerry know I was coming. He is a a great guy! I left my car with him and he called me when the work was completed which was an hour earlier than promised! I'm very pleased. First off let me say I hardly ever write reviews, Something has to be outstanding or awful for me to give my 2 cents. But let me say , I have been going there for years, never had a problem til the last two times, but it was when i was quoted 400 dollars for a new cooling line that put me over the edge. After I was given that price I tried two other places, one of which being the dealership which came in at $300 and another was a local mechanic that quoted 250 dollars. Seems outrageous to me that such a well known company could charge me that much more. Sadly I will not be using them again. Im quite disappointed and feel that i was getting taken advantage of. Women Beware! Friend took her car to this location and they took advantage of her lack of car knowledge. Charged her $100 per rotor, and told her that was parts cost. Same part is actually $45 at most. $340 for rear brakes!!!. LADIES there is no additional labor for putting on a new rotor, labor is only attached to turning rotors. This store used to be reliable but in the past year or so they have become quite crooked. We took our Subaru Outback in for new tires, got a great deal using their specials and an online coupon, but when we went to leave, the car would start but then choke down. WTF? It drove fine before we came to the store. So we go back in and the CS at Firestone tries to start it and the same thing happens to him. He suggests that we leave it for a diagnosis. We agree and later, they call and inform us that we need a new vaccum hose and other things done to the car and it will cost a lot of money. Well, this sounded pretty fishy to us so we told them that we did nto want them to do anything to the car and we had the car towed down the street to Holden Automotive, where they inspected the vehicle and told us that the vaccum hose had been taken dislocated or moved and that was why it would choke down. They put the hose back and the car ran fine. (No, Holden did not charge us) I have placed a call to the Consumer Response department of Friestone, and they made a report and gave me a case number. They also contacted the District Manager over that store, but it is too early to know if he will call back. The Firestone place said they would give us credit us for the tow truck, but we'll see if this happens when we get the bill. It was really quite surprising that a store would do something so blatant and if I had not witnessed this with my own eyes I would not have believed it. So, avoid this store because they are scam artists. read more
