New tires put in a fleet vehicle less than a month ago. They consistently lose air. Arrived to work with 13 lbs of air in one tire and 50 in another. I immediately went up to the Firestone store and they said they couldn't even get to the vehicle, a simple tire repair, till later in the day. They wouldn't align my car because the tread depth apparently wasn't deep enough. Called plaza tire and they said tread depth doesn't matter they would be happy to do an alignment. Weird. Maybe the associate wasn't trying to swindle me into buying, maybe corporate made a weird rule so they could sell more tires? Either way, super disappointing. read more

Took my car in to get an AC blower motor replaced. A few hours later they called me to tell me that my Blower motor had to be replaced (no crap) and that they weren't able to do the service due to the dash coming off. Still proceed to charge me for the diagnostic fee even after I told them exactly which part needed to be replaced. They just want your money plain and simple. I could have avoided wasting my time and money if the guy initially knew what service they did and didn't offer!!! Complete waste of money and time and complete lack of knowledge on the services they provide. Take your money elsewhere to businesses that are honest to their customers. read more

Went in to get a tire plugged that had a screw in it. They told me they couldn't plug it because I had put fix a flat in it. I asked him to explain how that prevented them from putting a plug in it, he said it was Firestone policy, and tried to sell me a tire for $321.00. Truck has Michelin tires all around with less than 30k miles on them. Went down the street to Discount tire, they plugged it and had me down the road in less than 30 minutes. I went in today to get an oil change. Once the guy looked at my car he tried to tell me I needed new tires. I had only had mine for 6 months and they are still in great shape. Also the price for the oil change was 3 times anywhere else. I'm so sick of men in these shops thinking I'm stupid. 0 out of 5 would not recommend. read more

If it was possible to leave a zero star rating I would. I nearly got finessed by this location. I went to go get a routine rotation and this location because it it close to my home. I was told there was a nail in my tire and that I was goin to need to purchase a full new set due to my car being a 4-W drive. They would not allow me to leave with my car if I only purchased one tire. I left without any resolution. Luckily, I know a local tire shop that did me the favor of checking with a leak test and absolutely no nail was found. What would have costed me $800 cost me nothing and due to a lie by commission based workers trying to get money out of innocent people. read more

Very friendly people, good service. The only real hitch is that I tried to schedule online because I was stuck in phone calls. Luckily I called before I left and even though they didn't have a spot for me actually reserved, they worked me in. They were upfront about all the costs and the time it would take. I was very pleased and the price beat the dealership by a lot. The service light was off and the car drove noticeable smoother after the alignment. I will be happy to keep using these folks. I hope they get the computers synced up for online service scheduling in the future but there was really nothing else I could complain about. It was a very busy Friday afternoon, too. read more

Noticing that all the negative reviews on here are from people that don't normally leave reviews and are just 1 time reviewers. I can't give these complainers credit for complaining and neither should you! This Firestone is very accommodating to its customers and always gives quality service. For a highly understaffed business, they always go above and beyond to ensure I am happy with the service they've provided. This includes oil changes, tire replacement, tire rotations, and ac work, all of which have been performed by this shop alone! I highly recommend that if you have received quality service from this Firestone, you leave them a good review..... they deserve it! read more

Stay away. Bought road hazard insurance on a $300 tire, had a flat and was told it would be 4 hours before they could look at it. So I am stuck spending money elswhere to repair a tire I have a warranty on or wait half a day. I wish I had never purchased that tire from them. read more

4/30/2018 Short version: Dishonest business practices, go elsewhere. Long version: Called a little after 8 am to see if they could get my car in for new tires and an alignment. Made it very clear I needed my vehicle returned to me by 4 pm. Jimmy told me that they couldn't get it done until around 7 pm or he could set me up for something tomorrow. No big deal, I let jimmy know that won't work and I will have to go somewhere else. That should have been the end of the transaction, but that obviously wouldn't garner a 1 Star review. Jimmy calls me back before I find an alternative tire installation facility. He says, "I was just told we had a cancellation and can get it done. Sorry I didn't know before, but I just came in at 8 (am). Great. I'll head that way. Ask a coworker to follow me over there so I can get a lift back to work. Coworker says he used to work there and they would say that to get people in and then make it take longer than they agreed. Certainly not I think to myself. Who would deceive a disabled veteran? It appears this establishment will. I arrive to pickup my vehicle and don't see it outside. I go inside and they let me know they just pulled it in. I tell them to go ahead and pull it back out. I get that things happen, but at some point they knew it wouldn't be done. With the information I received from my coworker provided, I don't believe they ever thought it would be done on time and I would just wait for it to be done. Due to this dishonesty and lack of professionalism, I will not bring any of my vehicles to any Firestone stores. read more

"Of all the places that I have been and will recall and give review, I thought of Firestone first." I'm not quite sure why and so it begged me to wonder. I got nothing... It took over a day to get my tire patched/replaced. It should not take that long to get a tire replaced, especially when you have an appointment. But, I can understand if you are overbooked, or short staffed. Most everyone is an understanding persons, tell me the care might not get finished, or that you can't do it by the allotted time. But do not keep giving me bull excuses saying that it will be done, then when I come check you tell me it hasn't been looked at yet. At first I was told noon, then I was told 2pm, and then at 5pm they pulled the vehicle in the bay to patch a flat. I put value on my time, I would have paid more and taken it somewhere else. I would have dropped it off yesterday I would have known it would have been that busy, but I thought when you had an appointment for 2pm, they would work on your car by or at 2pm. Apparently not at this firestone. I am not a first time reviewer, and I hate giving one star, honestly the service might be decent, but lying to me throughout the day will bypass the service. I had an expensive repair ($720) done in Dec 2015. Less than 6000 miles later, but unfortunately just 5 months after the 12 month Firestone warranty expired, exact same repair had to be done over again. But this time I had a business with a 3 yr/36,000 mile warranty on all parts and labor do the work. The first thing other mechanic asked was, "Did Firestone replace the wiring harness? This is a known problem with that vehicle. Nearly always the wiring harness is what causes the knock sensors to short out." I looked online and easily found exactly what this other mechanic said. Firestone had not even suggested replacing the wiring harness. Firestone insisted they did it right the first time, but the parts and their work were now out of warranty. The only thing they offered me was free $95 diagnostics. I would have to pay for all parts and labor all over again! read more

So my son got a nail in the back left tire on Friday. I called Firestone in Fayetteville on Saturday morning around 10 a.m. to have them work on the tire but they were too busy to get me in that day. I asked about Sunday but the man on the phone told me the Fayetteville store probably wasn't going to be open on Sunday due to labor shortage. Probably doesn't help customers make decisions. Why doesn't that store pay some higher wages and make sure the store can be opened on a consistent basis? He recommended that I go to the Rogers store (20 miles) up the road on Sunday at 2 p.m. We make an appointment for 2 pm in Rogers for Sunday. We luckily limp the car to the Rogers store on Sunday only for the service guy there to tell us we didn't have an appointment..Frustration level increasing. He then tells me that the back left tire didn't have the road hazard warranty but that the other three did. Now I'm just confused. I did buy different tires at different times so that is probably the truth. But then again I'm probably sure I bought hazard insurance for every tire. Here is the main kicker. They still didn't get the tire fixed. They had to keep the car overnight to work it into their schedule. It will be ready hopefully tomorrow at noon. This is a really big hassle and it's really got me miffed at Firestone. Not feeling customer service vibes at all. Doesn't look like I'm the only one either. This store has two stars on yelp. These guys are AMAZING!! Called this morning about 11:00 to check prices on tires for my son's car. They didn't have them in stock. They called us back in less than 5 minutes & said they found some in Joplin & could get them here by 2:00 today! That in itself is amazing, but they also blew the prices at WalMart away!! I've used Firestone for the past 2 years in several cities across the country (New Orleans, Seattle, Nashville, etc.) and this is the best location by far. I've heard a lot of criticisms that Firestone is a tire shop and shouldn't be trusted with repairs...but this specific shop has handled battery issues, engine work, oil changes, and alignment problems. They've also handled some really tough repairs on my partner's old Nissan hardbody truck. I drive a Prius, wish is obviously a specialty car, and its hard to find mechanics willing to work on it. Firestone has made lots of efforts to find affordable parts for me and explain the work they are doing. With regards to customer service, Seth is an incredible service manager and you can tell he really takes his job to heart. I had a visit where a mechanic made a mistake, and Seth made everything right beyond my expectations. You can really trust these guys to give you an honest deal. They are often busy, but it's a testament to the fact that they are good at what they do. The Firestone card they offer also makes repairs manageable with 6 months of no interest. I would definitely recommend Firestone on Pleasant Crossing over any other mechanic in the area (especially Wal-mart...don't let them touch your car!) read more

I have never written a review for any car repair service operation because I've never felt I've received the service to justify the review. That all changed based on my experience yesterday afternoon with my local NWA Firestone on Pleasant Grove Road here in Rogers. I had an appointment made by Seth and was promised a one hour wait for my car to have an oil change, tires rotated and balanced and an alignment. They came through and while I was waiting in the lobby, the manager kept me informed of the progress. I was so impressed with the service that not only I received, but that I overheard others receive both in store and over the phone. I honestly can't believe I'm writing a review for Firestone! Thank you is all I can say! I will most certainly be back and recommend this location to all my family and friends. Thank you! Y'all rock! read more

Took a tire in to get a nail pulled and fixed. They said that they were done for the day......it was 3:30 in the afternoon. They claim they are open till 5:00. They even had bays empty and people standing around. I'll go to Brown's for my tire care in the future. read more

Worst experience I ever had. I come for standard oil change and a new set of tires . Terrible customer service from the beginning failing to call and notify customer with pre-appointment but not to mention 3 hours later. , they FORGOT TO GIVE ME OIL. THAT I PAYED FOR . I pull over and see my oil is nearly EMPTY. Checking 3 -4 times thinking a company couldn't possibly fail to meet their customer's needs. But they did fail. Couldn't be bad enough to fail to meet Customer Service but a service that has been PAYED for. Once they check up on my car from me having to drive BACK, they could not admit to their mistake and insist "I" was the one mistaking falsely reading my oil. These guys are courteous, professional, and fast - wow. For once, a tire change/repair place that gets to the point, knows what they're doing, and are helping to remedy the bad taste Ford left in their mouth with the recall on SUV tires because Ford screwed up back in the late 90's. I have never left a review, but I feel obligated to warn others of the shady practices employed at this particular Firestone. I am uncertain about other locations but wonder if personnel are trained to increase profits and revenue by selling unnecessary products and services. If this was the first time this happened, I would not post this review, but it was actually the fourth time someone either tried to pull the wool over my eyes or would not accept responsibility for a mistake made. In this particular case, I took my son's vehicle for a tire repair since we had purchased his tires there. The sales person/mechanic came back and said that they were three nails in his tire and one was at the sidewall and required replacement. Because of the age of the tire, it would take either replacing two or all four of his tires. Because of my suspicion of shady practices, I then took my son's vehicle to another shop for a second opinion. In fact, there were three nails in the tire, but the repair was easily made and no new tires were required. In the past I was told on my vehicle that I needed a break job with the cost of over $1200 for the front and $1400 for the rear brakes. I received a second opinion when getting new tires at a new tire shop, and they looked at my brakes and rotors and said they all looked fine. I was not having any problems with my brakes and was confused as to why firestone said that I needed new ones. There were two other occurrences in which firestone both failed to own up to a major mistake they made and tried to oversell. Having dealt with this firestone for years, I wonder how many things I paid for that I did not need. If you decide to use firestone, I recommend a second opinion before paying for something you did not go in to have repaired. read more

Found a screw in my tire one morning, called the same day and was able to get an appointment 30min later w/o waiting. Was told when I dropped my car off, that it would be 60-90min for it to be completed. Received a call that it was done less than an hour later! They even checked my spare and found it low in air so filled it up. Definitely will recommend this place! read more

I always had good experiences with another Firestone on Walnut and I have my cars serviced there for a few years. I've seen this Firestone on Pleasant Crossing on my way to work and I wanted to try it out and it wasn't a pleasant experience. My wife and I were in the area for breakfast and we wanted to mount 4 new tires that we bought online so we walked to Firestone. The advisor was nice but he said we have to leave the car there and the tires will be mounted by the end of the day. Price wasn't cheaper than other tire shops but we decided to leave our car around 7:30 AM and left for breakfast nearby. 6:30 PM, I got a call from the technician and he said the car is ready. He went over alignment on the phone and I told him that I would be at the shop in 10 minutes. We got to the shop and saw our car at the front parking lot. I was shocked because only 2 front new tires were mounted, the 2 rear tires were not even touched and my 2 new tires sat in the car. We walked in and told the technician who called us earlier. He had no ideas why only 2 tires were mounted. I insisted him to mount another 2 right away. He was hesitant at first since it was almost closing time and he recommend to set another appointment for 2 rear tires. I finally convinced him to mount 2 new rear tires even we had to wait another 30 minutes. Another technician rushed out and brought our car in to finish the job. I did not get any compensation or offers with their mistake and had to pay full price quoted. We are not impressed with the service at this shop at all. It's our first time and probably that's it. We will have another tire shop to check out the tires again. read more

Horrible service, I went in to have my headlight repaired, the light was out. They replaced my bulb and after an hour my bulb light went out again. When I told the service manager he explained to me that it must NOT be the bulb but for $80 they will diagnose the problem. After spending $72 on a new bulb I explained to him why wasn't this problem and discovered earlier that Didn't matter I had to pay another $80 for them to figure out the problem was. Not sure whether it was because I was a woman or incompetence or complete lack of customer service or all the above! When I did bring my car into another repair shop, they had found out that it was a electrical problem and that was easily fixable . the mechanic would have seen the problem while changing the light. I Would never recommend Firestone, specially if you're a woman. Total lack of customer service, integrity and competency. read more

Horrible operation, no communication and huge lack of respect for people's time. Dropped a car off at 9am for a 10 minute oil change and 7 hours later, still didn't have it done. We went today to get our tires rotated. We had bought the tires there so it was going to be free. He checked us in and informed us it would be about forty-five minutes. After an hour and a half our car was still sitting on the lift on the ground without being touched. I went to the counter and asked what was going on. He said that they had issues with there computer and scheduling appointments but that they would be on it soon. About that time an employee went over and grabbed the plastic hanger off our mirror that had our information. He kinda of cringed and began to tap his fingers on the edge of the door frame as if he were deciding whether he was going to do it or not. After a minute he put the hanger back and walked away. About thirty minutes later they put it on the lift and started the process. In addition there was an older guy in front of us that came in about a half hour before us was still waiting for an estimate on some work on his truck. Right before we left we over heard an employee tell him that he was trying to fill out the paperwork but he kept getting interrupted. He went on to say it would only take ten minutes if people would leave him alone. In addition we counted five customers that came after us that were taken care before we were. We also noticed that one employee never touched anything and simply walked around the shop. We also noticed that three other employees would stop working every couple of minutes and talked with each other while leaning over a desk. I could have and should have done the work myself. I will never go back there again. The company is great but these employees clearly don't need their job there. read more

Where to start. Let me first say that I have visited this location several times before with little to no problems outside of a bit of rudeness and miscommunication, but nothing that was too bad. This visit (June 2017) was completely different. I dropped my vehicle of in the morning to get a few services done (oil change, alignment, rotation, balance, and a couple of new tires installed). I left the car at the location and went about my day as normal, knowing if would be a bit before it was finished. A few hours later I get a call from a service manager informing me that they had found a few problems with the car that needed addressing. He told me that the engine air filter and cabin air filter were both dirty and needed replacing. I asked him if this was a suggested maintenance due to mileage or if they were visibly dirty. He informed me that both filters had been looked at, were dirty, and needed replacement. I then told him that only 5 days prior to bringing my car in I had replaced both of these filters with brand new out of the box filters and there was no way they could be dirty already. He paused, said he would check on it and get back with me. NEVER received a follow up call. Later in the day I received a call from them that I could not answer. They did not leave a message or attempt to contact me again. I was already out so I stopped at the store to see if the call was a notification that the car was done. It was (nice that they tried SO HARD to let me know right?). Before going in I popped the hood and verified that the filters were indeed still paper white clean just as I had thought. I also noticed that old tires had not been rotated with the new tires being placed where I requested. Upon entering the store and asking if they had done the rotation, I was told yes it was completed (obviously a lie). I informed them that the tires were not rotated and he then tried to tell me that "oh yeah, they weren't because we wanted to put the new tires in a certain spot." First, you lied about performing the rotation, then you tell me the new tires need to be put in a certain spot that goes against what Firestone themselves recommend for new tires, and third, if you thought that, then why did you not rotate the tires from side to side at least? Needless to say at this point I am fairly irritated. I request to speak to the store manager who I know is there because I am looking right at him when I make this request. The employee I am speaking to completely ignores this request and continues talking while the Manager (Ryan) just looks at me with no acknowledgment or attempt to help. Basically, at that point I give up. I have them rotate the tires as originally requested (waiting another half hour), ask about the filter error and am informed that they "talked" to the technician, no apologies, and then the employee proceeds to tell me that I needed new tires because my car is cheap with cheap parts. He called it cheap at least five times. I know it is not a luxury sedan, but a little professionalism could go a long ways. When all is said and done I pay for the service without being offered any type of resolution what so ever besides we "talked" to the technician. To top off this perfect experience, I go home and fill out the online survey, informing Firestone Corporate of this incident. I check the box requesting to be contacted and hope that maybe someone higher up can at least ensure me that they will look into what exactly happened. NEVER heard from them. No email, call, or anything. Like I said, never had problems with them before, but now I do not trust them with my vehicles. read more

Above and beyond service! My car broke down across the street and wouldn't start. I came in for help right when they were closing, and they not only jumped my car after they got off work but stayed an hour after to replace the battery, check the tires, and replace the oil in my car. I definitely recommend these guys for their car knowledge and great service!! read more
