I took a Honda Civic Sport for an A/C problem a year ago or so, and they made mistake on the initial quote They undercharged me but kept their price, and in an effort to recoup their mistake they showed me a picture of my car with a slashed tire and tried to upsell me and replace it, but I had Americas Tire warranty and when they serviced the car they found no such slash. 1) They replaced the 1234YF Freon on a vehicle which has warranty parts by the dealer such as the condenser, and found no leaks, when they should have notified me to take it to the dealer instead. A year later the Honda Dealer found leaks in the condenser, evaporator, and other systems. So now, I'm paying for an even bigger problem. The car sounded like it had a leak and yet, they told me it did not. That's a liability, and dishonesty by this company. 2) The dishonesty in showing a client a fabricated picture of a tire in order to recoup the costs of a mistake by their estimator is down right incredible, particularly from a name brand company. 3) The incompetence of generating an estimate correctly. 4) Dishonesty in having found no leaks. On a Thanksgiving trip(day before) we were traveling and had just had our spark plugs changed when a faulty one blew out. We made it here at 3 am and waited for them to open. They fixed the problem our car was running better than ever and in less than 2 hours and honored the work done just a few days before, didn't charge us a dime. Super quick, reliable and done so fast! Made an appointment the day before for the next day 1pm simple oil change. Thought I would help and dropped the car off at 11am so they could get it in by 1. It's now 3:39pm and when I called they told me the car wasn't even in the bay! what about the appointments are they just to get you in and whenever they decide to get it done is the normal. And when asked, the answer I received was the appointments are just to see how many technicians they need. This is bull, and customer service is gone. I have been a customer for years, and after this I am never going back. If they are feeding me bull about the schedule are they being honest about the workman or service provided. read more

Called this morning to get pricing on 3 tires for my travel trailer. The first rep said he had to check availability -- then silence for 5 hours. When I called back, another rep admitted they'd gotten "too busy" but promised to call me right back. Still nothing. If a business can't be bothered to follow up on a $500-$800 sale, I can only imagine how little they'd care once they actually had my money. My family has been coming here for years since I was a teen. We will be taking out business elsewhere you lost a loyal customer! Horrible customer service, over priced and can't keep there appointment times. I had a 1pm appointment for tire install and wheel alignment that was placed a week ago. I arrived at 12:50pm and was told it's gonna take a while due to them being backed up if I wanted to reschedule. I said ok no problem. What's the point of making an appointment if you're just gonna have me come down to reschedule??? No call on the status of my car. I called at 5:30pm asking how things are going. I was told that they just started to work on it. This place closes at 6:00pm. It's currently 6:30 and my car is still on the lift. Hasn't even started on the alignment yet... Unfortunately told me they aligned my front tires but this was a lie. And then in addition to that they told me that my back tires could not be aligned because of rust. I took it to another shop and they aligned it for $62 and now my car is aligned. Unfortunately I have a lifetime warranty and maybe that's why they didn't aligned my car. I'm sure it's not everybody at this location but for sure one guy lied and should be disciplined or fired. Based on the other reviews I would do an investigation if I was the owner of the shop and find out who is destroying my business. read more

I needed 2 rear tires I have quoted on their website and they run $300-$315 a tire just about everywhere including the dealer! Their quote $550 a tire ..... I didn't even bother to debate with them. Sorry Firestone but I'd hire some guys that don't run customers off. Came in for a simple oil and fuel filter change. Was quoted aprox $200 for the oil change and $600+ for the fuel filters. Mind you it would have been more when I paid. Declined, went outside and looked this place up and on yelp and wish I looked it up before I even called. Almost double what J!ffy charged. First he told me to bring the truck in so they could figure out what filters were needed. Once I got there he told me they would start with the oil change and see if they could get the filters. You are gonna see??? Then tell me the total like I'm trapped? Not thanks. How about you find the filters real quick and then tell me the total. Nope. Guy just looked at me as confused as I looked at him. Once he told me the fuel filters usually run $600 plus I said no thanks and left. Pretty sad. Corporate really needs to look at the way this Firestone is being ran into the ground. It's bad enough it's in an empty shopping center and looks completely ran down. All in all. Bad customer service, crazy expensive, and I won't ever be coming back. This was a shame them. They won't get the chance for a shame on me. read more

Came in on a Friday, time to repair a nail in a tire was too long for me (not the reason for my review) the representative told me the tire was repairable so I set up an appointment on Monday. I came in for my appointment and after waiting for 1.5 hrs for a tire repair I was told they would not repair the tire due to "borderline tread depth" I explained the team member on Friday inspected the tire and said it was repairable . The lack of training is ridiculous. They wasted my time and tried to con me into buying all new tires. Took the car to another name brand shop and they repaired the tire with no issues! read more

Kyle exemplified great customer service from the very beginning to end, if stars could go beyond this review certainly would become a shooting star. My car is running great and so much quieter after the water pump was replaced along with a new belt and anti freeze. A great big thanks to the technician who got their hands dirty. Stay away this place is ridiculous! I had a 10am appointment today and arrived at 9:45am, the appointment was for an oil change, tire rotation and alignment. at 12pm my car was barely getting pulled in to be worked on! when I ask them how long until it's ready I got well it's getting worked on right now so maybe another hour or more!! Mind you I have both my young daughters with me while we're waiting for them to do the work (which they knew of when they asked if we'd be waiting or dropping off the car). so another hour goes by and we ask again how my longer, after checking they say that it's another 25 mins they still need to do alignment unless I don't want it then they can just pull my car out for me. Been here 3 hours what's another 25 mins!? but no not 25 another hour goes by!! When I pay for the service I was given no alignment report when I ask where it is they respond that their printer is "out of ink". I get in my car and check my tire pressures and find that 3 tires are at one pressure and one is significantly lower. go back in to tell them they say oh back your car up and I'll take a look and fix it. Tires should be at 35psi he says so these are overfilled. and your telling me that you supposedly did an alignment on my vehicle yet my tires are overfilled and one was at a different psi??? what a joke! drive off and confirmed no alignment was done because my car is still pulling to the right! if I could give no stars I would! going to write corporate because they location needs to get it together. read more

Update: September 7, 20I'm a returning customer because I ALWAYS leave this location VERY satisfied and happy. The customer service I receive from Pete and Michael is outstanding! They are true professionals! I never have anxiety going to and leaving this location because they are upfront and honest and I never feel like I'm being taken advantage of. I've had several issues taken care of and I'm very pleased. Thank you Firestone Tires and thank you Pete and Michael for always being kind and respectful and taking care of my vehicle needs. See you guys soon! January 8, 2020 NOT a good experience today! Michael is no longer at this location and Pete was off. They always take care of me. Had to deal with Nolan. Most likely not ever coming back which sadly I've been so happy and satisfied with this particular Firestone. Thought I found the perfect shop for my needs for a very long time.... I guess unless you get something on paper or in their notes, you are screwed with the price (which for an oil change was quoted to me back when I started coming here in Feb 2019). Although after a big headache due to communication, I got the price which I was promised since my last two oil changes but the energy is not good here for me anymore. I'm hoping there's a huge misunderstanding because I will come back to this location to speak with Pete but until then, I will update this review in the next couple days. I would NEVER recommend this location!!! I contacted corporate through the follow up review and no One contacted me. So I took my sons car to another mechanic. Let me give you the back story...... We had my sons "lowered" cars tie rod end replaced so it needed an alignment and my usual Firestone said that only this location had the proper equipment to align a lowered car car. So I call they say yes a day we take it. We drop it off and they call when they closed and said they won't touch it cause the tie rod end is broken and the lug nuts are backwards. Well my husband checked and a few were backwards but they weren't detreade cause they came right off easily. And when we took it to align it the TIE ROD END WAS NOT BROKEN!!!! THEY LIED AND ARE LAZY. PLUS they were going to charge 150 for just the alignment with NO warranty. So we went to discount tire and we got 2 tires AND the alignment done just fine and quick. Car runs great thanks to Discount Tire. I would have gave it zero stars but 1 was OK cause the manager waited an hour and half for us because of a murder a few blocks away so we got detoured and lost. read more

In short, I called to purchase 2x Indy 500 tires, went into store, and was given a LOT of shady information, obvious lies, poor attitude, and strange requests (must pay in cash); I left accordingly. On 6/9/2019, I called the store to see if they had stock of 2x 225/40/18 Indy 500 UHP wheels. I made it clear that my intent was to purchase and carry out of store. The person on phone said to come on down and pick them up. So I drove down, right away, hoping to get in on the sale "Epic Promotion" as it was ending on 6/9. I was then approached by a person to which I declared my intent in purchase. He looked it up on the system, and then said that "they" couldn't sell them to me unless it was in cash. Strangely, I went with a friend earlier in the morning to another firestone in Moreno Valley, and she had done the same, purchased 2x 225/40/18 indy500s tires out the door, no weird request of cash only, or bad attitude. I presented this information. To which he declared he was the manager and knows what he's talking about. I begrudgingly checked my wallet, had the cash, and said fine. To which he then quotes me a price that doesn't even match what the person on the phone had told me was the price. AGAIN, I did this already in the morning with another friend, and also know the exact price Out the door. After a quick counter, he realized he "missed" giving me the promotion, the promotion that has them busy as hell all week....how did you forget this, hmm? The final straw was after discount, the final price was still different by a few dollars. It's not that it was a few dollars different, but the whole experience was absolute crap. I quickly call another firestone, talked to another manager, and they told me this person was essentially lying. The whole cash thing is bull. The final price should have been what I knew it as/quoted on phone. This store on Limonite made me drive down on false pretenses only to be given SHADY practices. Go else where folks. I took my car in last minute, no appointment on a Friday. They gave me the diagnostic of my car needing a fuel pump hose which I knew that's what it needed. I left that day just paying for the diagnostic test and they recommended the part should be ordered that day so i can come back on Monday with the part. It comes Monday I drop off the car for the "part". They call me back in Monday telling me that they got the wrong part- ok. I let them know it's ok to keep the car in for the time being. I expect the car to be done the following day-turns out they got the wrong part again?? It is now Wednesday. I missed a job interview i was overcharged 2x what the part cost. It was only a $50 part why did I have to pay $210??? This company doesn't value there customers time or money. read more

I am sorry unhappy to report that the customer service representations standing at the cashier counters were rude and uncaring. I have taken my trucks in for tires several times in the past (before COVID-19) with no problems and great service. I went in August 19th with a wheel barrow tire that I needed help in putting in the tire tube and was greeted with can't do it and a look from both of the service reps of don't want to do business with you. When I asked for the "spoon screwdriver" they use to insert tire tubes they just looked at each other and didn't respond to my request. Repeat business with Firestone I think not. Got the call around 9:45 with the needed repairs. I gave the ok and stressed we were in a hurry. At 12 they called with my car done!! They applied coupons and gave me fast service. (Not by choice, but because my husband made me; because it was "convenient" since they are literally a two minute drive from home.) He went out of his way to assist me and explain step by step on what needed to be done for one of my cars if I do decide to take it to firestone. (Mind you, I took my husbands truck in not mine. The most unprofessional crooks in the buisness talking that they have master techs working there when they can't even do a simple repair my 8 yr old girl can do. A labor rate at 135 a hour when there master tech can't even do basic repairs. These were the biggest bunch of idiots that I have ever dealt with will recommend every bullshit service in the book but can't even complete a repair that a person needs. Ie customer comes in with a check engine light vs changing the part that is broken recommend all of them and not be able to change the one that was the problem so the customer still has to have the car repaired so they can get there smog check. This place is the true example of women getting screwed by mechanics and give the rest of us a bad name. Didn't there mother's teach them to do things right!!!!! "Pete" the manager is a complete idiot only understands what the computer tells him and probably couldn't find his thought without someone else telling him what to do. It's pathetic when a man a mechanic or person in a shop has to hide behind a corporate curtain cause he hasn't got enough sense or balls to fix a situation to keep a customer happy when they couldn't do a repair correctly and there completely ripped off the customer. It's completely ludicrous that the person they did the repair for couldn't even get home before the check engine light came back on !!!!! These CROOKS charged her 1200.00 for 200.00 worth of parts that any person could of changed that knows how to hold a wrench and couldn't fix the reason why the car was there!!!!! Im not the type of person to go out of my way and leave a bad review. But service here was awful and if i can help someone out i will.. If you have life time alignment I recommend scheduling the latest appt time or if your looking to get lifetime alignment i don't recommend this location. My appt time was 10am i picked up my car at 6pm closing time... my car was the last to be worked on and I'm sure it was because they aren't making any profit on lifetime alignments... I drop off my car at 10am they said it will be done a "couple" hours. A "couple" universally means 2 - 4hrs right? No, not Limonite firestone terms. A couple hours roll by no call, i called and they said it will be done around 3pm. 3pm rolls around no call i call they say 5pm. 5pm rolls around no call i call they say 6pm... They close at 6pm my car was the last to get worked on unless 10am is the latest appt time available i would see why i was the last... atleast call and give me updates lol.
