I walked in and the gentleman behind the counter said hello. I said "I have a flat." He says "well what do you want me to do about it?" I've lived in South Florida a long time and have developed a certain bullshit radar which was already pinging with that stupid question. Any other time, I would've walked out but my tire was completely flat and, apparently, ruined because I drove on it underinflated/flat. So now, I'm told that I need a new tire. Yay. My behind-the-counter friend quotes a price of $251, for not even a matching tire to the other three (Yokohama), at which point, my filter fails and I ask him if he's crazy, because that's insane. Finally, it dawns on me to just have them put my spare on and give me the bad tire so I can get out of there. They do get 1 star for changing my flat to the spare and making sure the pressure in all four was good with no charge; however, ultimately, I got the matching tire and was out the door for $185 at Total Choice in Davie. That's $66 less, if you like to do the math, and they were straight shooters, courteous and super kind to boot! read more

Dead battery in a vehicle, bough a new one with no tools to change it. Firestone did not have a replacement, 3 day order and refused to change the battery I already bought. So much for the "complete" auto care. Would never consider this place again. read more

Awesome experience. My tire pressure light came on so I went to see them because I drive with a toddler in my car and I don't want to get a flat tire! They checked my tire pressure and filled my tires with air and I was out of there within five minutes. So glad I got my tires from them! read more

The guys working in this location are grade A professionals in my experiences with them. The guy (customer) in front of me in line was incredible rude and in the guys face behind the counter. Regardless, the employee remained 100% calm, and got everything done with a tense situation without even batting an eye. When it came to my car, they were very straightforward with what I needed and didn't need. They got my car all fixed up in a short amount of time and everyone working seemed to be happy and professional. I give this location 5 solid and well earned stars! read more

I ordered two new tires online and had them delivered here to have them installed for an extra fee. In addition I brought new tire pressure sensors for all tires which they did not mind installing for me. The service was pretty quick I will say considering that they had to mount 2 tires and install all 4 pressure sensors. I was able to watch them do the work and even asked a few questions and interacted with the guy installing my tires. The manager pointed out an older manufacturing date on the tires I bought and as a result I called the seller, who sent me a second set of tires for free. My first set is installed and I have a set for the next replacement which saved me close to $600. Really happy with the work they did and their expertise and the fact that I got 2 extra tires thanks to the manager's observation. I am giving 4 stars because I had called before and asked an employee if I could bring my own TPM sensors and he said no and that I had to use the ones they order, which ended up not being the case. I made an appointment for an oil change and was promised to be in and out within an hour. It ended up taking three hours and on top of that the employees were rude dispite how polite I was to them. You get the feel that they don't care at all about their customers feelings and time or view they review on their business. read more

Very disappointing experience with Firestone's on Buford Hwy Doraville Ga on the second set of four tires I purchased within the last three years. Prior to purchasing my new set of tires I had a wheel alignment and when I picked up my car my tire sensor light was on after leaving the place of business I realized it was on and called the manager to let him. When I brought it back to out air in the tires the sensor didn't go off. Than they couldn't find any documented paperwork the tech said he wrote when he serviced my car. At this point they try to tell me my car is old so the battery just went out than they checked it & told me two sensors are out and try to sell it to me. I opted to wait and do some research because my sensor was working fine before they worked on it. I took my car to Lexus who confirmed it was one sensor out and try to call mgr but he was rude and not interested in helping me fix this problem so than I called corporate and spoke to Matt He try to say same thing My cos old and when I said no sir he finally agreed to pay for my sensor if it's confirmed damaged which it was local shops and corporate office are very disconnected and I felt like I should of got a free oil change or something for my aggravation however again Matt from corporate was rude and had the wrong answer so I will let people know what I think of Firestone read more

The guy inside was nice but the guy doing the work is an idiot. Thankfully I'm watching him. I'm paying for a tire rotation and I watch as he takes the tires off and sets them on the ground. I came in to get a flat fixed, they did an outstanding job very quickly, and didn't try to sell me new tires. The manager and technician were very polite and helpful, despite the fact that I only had to pay $20 for the tire repair. First, off let me say that this Firestone Auto Care Center is true loved by its customers. I was there for two days ( 2 - 3 1/2hours a visit) getting my car serviced and people were coming in constantly. Darryl, the customer service agent, was warm, friendly, and greeted each customer with a smile. He works hard to meet each customers needs and all I could think of was, " I hope the corporate office knows what a valued asset he is - this guy deserves a raise. " Day one I got an alignment. Day two - brake pads. I highly recommend getting service at this Firestone but would recommend you make sure they have whatever is needed ( ex brake pads) in stock for your specific car ( especially high performance type cars) before they begin working on it. I recently had a terrible experience at this establishment. I saw a promotion they had going for oil changes so I chose to give them a try for my car's upcoming routine maintenance. As soon as I arrived, I inquired about the cost of an oil change with full synthetic oil. The staff told me "around 75 bucks". Once I informed them of the coupon offer they were advertising on the internet, they tried to argue that the coupon applied only to regular oil changes. I literally had to get on my phone, back to their promotion and show it to them at which point they begrudgingly accepted synthetic was also covered in the promotion. After arguing my way to get the promotion, I left my car and was told it would be ready for pickup in "around 2 hours". To my dismay, I returned 3 hours later only to find that not only was my car not ready, it was actually in the same parking spot I left it at. Terrible experience from the moment I arrived until I left, extremely mediocre service. First and last time I do business with them. read more

I brought my vehicle to your company, Firestone, 4 times regarding one issue of an overheating engine because my company utilizes you all for our repairs for our rental cars. Each time I paid for a new repair that was supposed to fix the issue, now a total valued just under $2,000. Now the engine has damage and the vehicle is non functional. I have recently gotten the vehicle checked by its manufacturer and they have stated a quick replacement of a hose valued less than $10 would have saved my engine. STORE #308521 Plantation, FL. I made an appointment on Friday July 12 2019 for the purchase and installation of 2 tires the following morning Sat 13 2019 at 10:00 AM. I dropped off the car at 9:55 AM. According to the paperwork, the car would be ready at 12:00 PM (2 hours after drop-off). Having received no call by 2:00 PM (4 hours past drop-off and 2 hours past estimated completion), I called the store and was told that my car was "next in line". Yet another 1 1/2 hours (5 1/2 hours after drop-off and 3 1/2 hours past estimated completion and pick-up), I walked back to the store in 90 degree weather only to find my car still sitting in the original "customer parking" space that I had used when I dropped off the car 5 1/2 hours earlier. The car had never even been moved to a repair staging area or inside the garage to be worked on. There was only 1 lift out of 6 being used and only 1 mechanic working on a car. The other 2 mechanics and the customer "service" manager were in the front office casually speaking to each other. There were no customers waiting in the office waiting for their cars. The customer service manager didn't even bother to make an excuse or apologize. I asked for my car keys back and drove off without new tires. The only thing I could think of is that the huge sign on my back window condemning Donald Trump for recent atrocities being committed down at the southern border to migrants made me ripe to be subjected to discrimination by Firestone solely based on my political views. While I can understand the business decision that Firestone Corporate has made to not offend the majority of their customer base (Trump supporters), IT STILL APPEARS THAT THIS WAS DISCRIMINATION BY FIRESTONE SOLELY ON THE BASIS OF MY POLITICAL VIEWS. I've done business with this Firestone location for almost a decade (brakes, several sets of tires for all of my cars, etc.). Billy, the manager, earned my trust throughout the years, and their service was always very accommodating, and the jobs have been done well. During the last couple of visits though, I have not felt welcome. The customer rep in the front desk that I've had to deal with has been rude, very standoffish, and unapologetic. I have never been a demanding customer, and I understand that other customers got there before me and that their vehicles have to be serviced before mine. This is why I typically leave my car with them; so they can take care of everyone without any pressure and the right way - I have even left my car there overnight for pickup the next day. Today however, as in my previous visit, this guy flat out rejected me. I came in for a tire rotation at 11:30AM (not the earliest, but it wasn't a brake job). He said they would not get to it today period. I said I was leaving the car and that I'd pick it up as late as they'd wish... "Nope. There are six cars in front of you with big jobs.". I said I'd leave it overnight so it could be done first thing in the morning or last thing today... "Nope, I don't know how busy the morning is tomorrow, and I'm not here tomorrow either so I can't guarantee that it will be done". Frustrated that I was the one prompting options, I asked "what do you suggest then?". He said he could give me an appointment. I said fine. He said tomorrow at 3PM, so I took it. I've never come in with an appointment, so I told him that with an appointment for a simple job like a tire rotation, I'd expect to be taken care of in 15 minutes. He said that they could probably get me out in an hour. What's the benefit of the appointment then????? I couldn't take it anymore and left. I don't know how the service philosophy at this store has changed, or even if Billy's still there, but this guy shouldn't be at the front desk. He may be good at servicing cars, but customer service is definitely not his thing. His attitude is pretty much begging me to never come back. I'm taking my car somewhere else for a simple tire rotation. If they can't rotate my tires graciously, they won't be getting any of my future tire business. read more

If you are reading this, read this carefully. DO NOT USE THIS PLACE FOR ANY CAR WORK, PERIOD!! I took my car, a older car here for work, only for oil changes and one time for them to look at my a/c unit. I took the car by the way to this Firestone due to the proximity of where I live. I normally do not trust Firestones as I have had bad past experiences, but really wanted to try and give this shop a shot due to the fact that Firestones are independently owned and franchised. Wow, was I so wrong at trusting them to do ANYTHING on my car. For starters, I recently noticed that every time, and I have only took my vehicle here to be serviced like I stated above for oil changes and for them to check my a/c unity here about four times. Each time I would drop it off early Saturday morning, were talking between 7:30 to 8:30 AM. Thinking ok, it is a routine oil change for the most times I went, I will get the car back within a couple of hours. Every time I took it there for an oil change they spent thee entire day, like we are talking until 4 PM in the afternoon on the car. Really?!? For a basic oil change. I wonder what took them so long. Turns out they do not decide to tell you that from the previous day they were backlogged with vehicles and still working on those during the morning hours on Saturday. So they most likely did not even touch my car until 12 or 1 PM. Mind you, I dropped the car off at 7:30 or 8:30 generally at this location. This location has also damaged my vehicle by breaking off critical pieces of the car and also denting the cars hood. Yet when I went to pick up the vehicle nobody told me this had happened until I had to find out for myself with my own observation the next day. Bill the manager was more than accommodating in assisting me in recouping the damages. However, told me I had to pay up front first for the repairs and then the claim would be submitted to consumer affairs. I told him that was absurd and said no, just cut me a check for the estimate that I took time to get for the dent and call it a day. In conclusion, the people working on your cars at this shop most likely do not know a thing about car maintenance or repairs and even a basic oil change they can't even do. Besides, this place told me they top off any and all fluids as part of a "courtesy" check Firestone does when you take your car in for an oil change. This was also I found out not being done as both my coolant and power steering were not even touched. Luckily there was no further damage done to my vehicle. However charging me for 175 dollars combined worth of work for my a/c unit to refill the freon because it was low and my cabin filter seemed ridiculous as well. Especially since I noticed my coolant was empty!! Now, after these times I went to this location and certainly the last time I went I felt like this post needed to be put up and inform the general public about this Firestone location. I went to Firestone to get a quick oil change and a rotation. Simple right.... Wrong. It's been a week or so and I kept hearing a thunk thunk thunk when I drive coming from the front tires, never heard anything before and I listen. I checked for a bubble, something in the wheel well and the tire pressure so wth?! I took my front tires off and checked and you know what THESE " MECHANICS" PUT MY TIRES ON CROOKET. You have nerve either to not have properly trained mechanics or encouraging this type of behavior. Maybe if you would just do good work to begin with more people would come back. I drive my son in this car what if the bolt would have came loose or something would have broken. I was happy with the price and quickness I was going to come back but to have this type of...neglect is insulting. I am not well off so I did not want to go back and get told I needed to buy something to fix the noise and spend money that I don't have Only to find out they were put on incorrectly. Had an appt for oil change and right now it's an hour and a half later and my car still isn't done, and when I ask the guy says let me see, walks away, and never comes back and tells me anything! Not sure I'll come back. Will be following up with a review and/or call to their company after. This is terrible customer service.
