I was driving from Florida to Texas when my tire light suddenly came on. One of my tires had lost all its air, and I was only about 45 minutes from the hotel I'd booked as my overnight stop. While I was waiting on the tow truck, I googled tire shop and luckily found Fisher Tire & Service was super close. It was the first place I went in the morning. They inspected my tire and told me I'd definitely need a new one. Unfortunately, they didn't have my tire size in stock, so they sent me down the road to another shop. Walmart didn't have it either, and after calling multiple tire shops within a 5 mile radius of the area I was in, nobody had my size. I called Fisher back, and that's when everything turned around. They realized they had my tire in their warehouse, and the receptionist offered to go pick it up herself. I wouldn't venture to say she was enthusiastic about it but that level of customer service meant a lot considering I was stranded away from home. The older gentleman who installed my tire was a lifesaver. He was friendly, got everything taken care of quickly once the tire arrived, and had me back on the road. I don't think he realized I know a thing or two about my car when he started asking about the wheel lock. Better ask about me! Well... he can't, because I don't know not one damn body in Pensacola. This whole ordeal set me back several hours from what I'd planned that morning, but I'm thankful this shop was nearby. Maybe it was heavenly intervention that I picked a hotel close to Fisher to begin with. I'll never need them again cause who's driving that long ass route again but if you ever have car trouble in the Pensacola area, check them out.

They had called me to let me know they had finished working on my car. I picked my car up and when I got home I realized they had completely scratch the inside of the lug nut hole, I had called them back and told them about it and they asked me to come back to see what I meant, when I got there a lady came out to look at it and I commented that they should've taken better care of my wheels like I specifically asked since they were brand new not even a day old and that they did not even align my vehicle, the lady then started to become very rude, I had asked for their corporates number, the individual that had worked on my car and for her name. She refused to give me any information and told me that I can just leave the property. I spent about $225 for everything and only got my tires balanced. In that time I've tried several different auto repair places always to leave disappointed. I live in Bellview and drive by Nevels nearly every day. After having taken my vehicle to the dealership and not getting satisfaction I thought "what the heck" and stopped at Nevels. The lady at the counter was polite, answered my questions and set up a time for me to bring the car in. After the repairs were completed at a reasonable price I thought I still had a leak. Upon returning the mechanic pointed out that what I saw dripping was condensate from the a/c. He also pointed out another issue that needed to be taken care of sooner rather than later. I scheduled the repairs, they had them done in a timely manner. My granddaughter recently moved back to the PNS area and her car was in need of minor repairs. Nevels not only got her in within a day they had everything taken care of on time. One of the issues was a bad headlamp that had failed previously. They replaced the bulb, all was okay until a week later when it failed. I took the car back in the morning, the lady at the counter called around eleven to say we could pick up the car. The problem was found and taken care of at no additional cost. They stand behind their work and that makes a world of difference to me. I didn't rate it as a 5 since there's always room for improvement, but I will certainly continue to use Nevels for any auto repairs in the future.

Instead, I was charged $125 for what felt like a basic OBD scan (same P0846 code I had already gotten for free at O'Reilly Auto Parts). I called for an update and the call was disconnected, would not be shocked if they hung up on me since I was very firm on the he call. They had told me they would call me back, but never did. No way should they have needed to keep my car overnight; I dropped it off in the morning and was told I'd get an estimate later that day, yet I only got the same vague "you need a new transmission" answer the next day. They quoted $4k-$6k for a replacement CVT without providing the live data, freeze-frame data, or proof I requested. I was shown a jar of dark fluid with metal debris, but there was no confirmation it was from my car. Overall, I left feeling underwhelmed to put it mildly. This was more about selling a transmission replacement than giving me the thorough CVT diagnostic I paid for. I would not recommend this shop.
