I'm extremely disappointed with this location. Not only do they not value your time.... Juan was rude when I was calling to inquire about the process of my vehicle after I was told I would receive a call before closing and never did. In addition... after two days (for a repair that I was told was going to take two hours). They didn't diagnose the issue with the car until over 18 hours later. I then picked up the vehicle and the check engine light was on. When I inquired about it... I was told it was on when the car was brought in... when in fact it was NOT. The only light that was on was the battery light... which was the reason for service. I replaced the alternator which was almost $213 dollars cheaper at AutoZone. Only choose this location if it's your only option. read more

They dumped water in our transmission and we were told several times "it was not their fault." All we came in for was an oil change and tire rotation. They said the battery needed to be cleaned also which I guess means they just dump water on it. We were driving home and the car started to shake (before we knew this happened) so we had to turn around and bring it back. Car had to be left with them overnight so they could put new fluid in it which they paid for as it was their error. We had to Uber to and from the store. Upon asking, we were compensated for the Ubers. Husband also had to call out of work since the car was left with them. I would never return to another Firestone anywhere ever again, as this is a very serious manner that the staff did not want to take responsibility for. read more

Overall impression: I had a great experience here. Excellent customer service. Good price. I mainly want to write this review to say that I had an excellent experience with my oil change here. Huge props to Keeshawn, the guy at the front desk who set me up. I noticed that he was friendly and efficient. He made me actually want to get my oil change and other services done there, which is almost never true of an auto service place (at least in my experience). I thought they were also very fast at doing the oil change given that they were super busy. Sears across the street was going to take twice as long for almost 50% higher price and they weren't very busy. I hope my oil ends up being okay, but as of yet, I have no complaints. read more

Scam artists at their finest. Called us to say they couldn't change our breaks without our wheel lock and that they couldn't find it so we told them exactly where to find it. They said it wasn't there so they proceeded to change out our wheel locks with new ones and charge us for the service. When we got the car back it was exactly where we told them it should be. How anyone can select less than five stars I do not know. This is by far the best auto mechanic shop I've used in my entire life. They put my car up on the rack and after diagnosing the problem, handed me a pair of goggles and physically walked me out to the car to show me what the problem was. All fear, concern, or doubt that I usually experience when a mechanic says somethings "wrong" with the car was gone. These guys were amazing. They pointed out the immediate problems, they pointed out the future problems, and gave me tips on how to keep the car working better for longer. Turns out, what I needed more than anything was new control arm bushings. $180. It would have been $500 to do the whole arm which is what most shops recommend. Nope, 180, and I was out the door. On top of that, I told them that I had to leave at 3:30. They busted their butts to have that car done on time. They weren't even five minutes late. They finished at 3:17. Every employee I interacted with was professional, attentive, and patient. I will never get my car serviced anywhere else ever again. read more

So, I get a flat tire on Apopka-Vineland here in Orlando around 11:45 am. I pull into a side street, park, and call my insurance company. They tell me to call Firestone Direct. I call and speak to a nice woman in North Carolina who sets up a roadside assistance appointment for me. She says that "lunch hour" is at noon, so the first available time slot is between 1 and 3 pm. I say okay and wait. At 3, I get a text message to call Gabriel (?) at Firestone Direct. Don't you think he should have called me? Since no help arrived between 1 and 3, I knew he was calling to tell me bad news. What I did was call another service who told me they would be there in 45 minutes... and they were. Nobody from Firestone Direct came by 3:40, so I wrote a note to Gabriel canceling my service. Five minutes later, the second tech shows up, and I'm on my way ten minutes later. When a Mom and Pop business scrambles to meet an obligation, you need to show some flexibility and compassion. When a big company, like Firestone, makes a commitment and fails to honor it, then everybody needs to know it. read more

Do yourself a favor and do not waste your time coming to this business. I was told one and a half hour wait, max. Wait times are to be expected. However, after having an appointment that I was early to and sitting in the waiting area for over an hour, I go to the counter to ask about the status of my vehicle. After standing there for a few minutes, they tell me my car is just now being taken back. Fast forward 45 mins from the car being taken. It seems that they are holding my car on the lift because I asked about the time. I have been told twice now that all that needs to be done is to put the tires on my car. I was completely unaware that it takes over 45 minutes to put tires back on to a car. My car is still on a lift right now. I am waiting at the counter writing this. It has been nearly 2 hours. There is zero communication. There is even less customer service. I would recommend ANYWHERE but here. 1) I would have gone somewhere else if I knew in advance it would take over 1.5 hrs that I was told from the beginning. 2) I do not appreciate the passive aggressive holding of my vehicle on the lift significantly after being told that the "vehicle and tires are ready all he has to do is put the tires on". *there is a chance to learning here. When you have the opportunity to help someone, and it literally costs you NOTHING, why would you actively choose not to? You always help someone, when you are able to. There does not have to be a reason to be kind. You have no idea what someone else is going through or what happened to them before your paths crossed. You should instead actively choose to HELP. Take a deep breath. Choose. Choose to be a better person and help someone. To the man at the desk, instead of arguing with me about how you thought you communicated with me, make my tire change go faster. We both know you all chose to let it take over the max time that was estimated. You all chose to let my car sit on the lift for over 45 mins after the man at the desk told me that "all that is left is to put the tires back on the car and the tires are on the ground next to the car". You chose to be unkind. You decided to make me wait significantly longer than the service should have taken. You NEVER know when the person you chose to be unkind to really needed one act of kindness to keep them from turning into you. We all start off the same. We are our experiences. My car had nearly died turning from OBT onto Sand Lake, and luckily I noticed this Firestone nearby. They had just closed, but they were kind enough to let me park my car there overnight. I came back the next day and they ran diagnostics on it and detected oil leaks from three different locations. They were honest to me that the severity of one of the leaks would have to be fixed by an engine shop. I made an appt for 8:30am and I was told that it would take up to 2 hours and I did not leave there until noon. I had my brakes changed by firestone in January and then they told me they were bad again in May. They may be correct, but it seems suspicious. And they told me my spark plugs were bad, but I just had them replaced in April. This also made me wary. After I had my diagnostic check and declined the $3000 estimate, I felt that they disregarded my time. I took my vehicle here in order to get a tire alignment after I got my struts replaced. I called and made an appointment a day before and they told me that it shouldn't take more than 45 minutes for my alignment. So i figured that isn't to bad I'll just wait in the lobby for it to be done. A little after 2 hours later I'm still sitting there waiting on my car as they're finishing up. About a month ago I got my car repainted and when I walked out to my car after my alignment to leave I noticed a few spots on my door handle where the paint was chipped. Once there I realized I was also due for an oil change The guy at the counter was not friendly to me at all never even cracked a smile. I felt like he was angry that I wanted a "complimentary tire check" ( as he worded it) While I waited a couple other customers cane in (one couple and one male). The guy at the service counter was very friendly to them Not sure if I'll go back or not. I really need someone to take care of maintenance in my car (Nissan always takes at least 4 hours) but this guy made me feel unwelcome. Was sent here by another Firestone location on a Saturday 10/1 after suffering a flat tire with my brand new car the day before. This was right after hurricane Ian. I arrived and asked for Kiko (who I was referred to) and he checked me in quickly, confirmed that they had the tire in stock so I wasn't waiting for no reason, got my car in quickly, did an amazing job and got me out of there. He replaced my rim lock, put the spare back in the correct location and put my rim key back as well. He checked me out and sent me on my way within the hour. Turn around time is very reasonable for services. The service managers always give a call regarding any new issue that may be discovered while the mechanic is working on the car; when your car is nearing completion; when the car is ready for pickup. Ripoff! Did not use my car air condtioner since the summer. When I got to Central Florida, it was a humid 83 degrees on a January day and my AC did not work Took it to this Firestone in the morning. I was given an estimate of $2704.28 because I was told that the AC needed to be replaced. After I declined the repair, they realized that they could complete the same job for $1800. Got a second opinion elsewhere. No AC replacement was needed. Only parts that cost $40. and a reasonable price for labor. My AC worked perfectly after that minor repair. Three weeks ago, I sent an emai to the corporate office of Firestone to let them know about my experience. I have yet to get a reply or acknowlegment of that email. Ripoff! read more

I wish I can give zero stars. These guys are a bunch of thieves. Took my car in to get work done something over $1000 and still having issues. Went back to them and they only offered to cover the labor which was $120, and I would pay for the part which was $300, even though they had me pay for something they said would fix the issue. I called before I went in to see if I needed an appointment. They said to come in whenever and they would be able to see me right away. My car wasn't even driven out of the lot into the shop for 2 hours after they kept saying they were working on it. 1 hour later and they claim all of my brake pads need to be replaced for $1000. I said no that's too expensive. Another 30 minutes for them to get my car back to me. Spent a total of 3.5 hours for them to tell me my car needs $1000 worth of repairs. I know this is not true and they are completely up charging. Would not suggest this place to anybody if you value your time and money. read more

I needed new tires and ended up at this location after seeing their buy 3, get 1 free promotion. They had an immediate opening, which was great on a Saturday. I dropped my car off and spent the time waiting at the mall. This was a major perk as I didn't have to stay in a waiting area while they worked on my car. I got my car back and the tires have been great! The reason I did not rate the location five stars was the hub caps were filthy. There was grease and all kinds of stuff on them from the instillation. They shined the wheels, but left the hub caps dirty. Overall, very pleased with my experience and the tires I received. Will certainly visit again. read more

Beware of this location!! I was stranded in Orlando when my radiator blew 200 miles from home and was towed to this auto repair location. They took 2 hours just to look at the car, which was 5 minutes before closing. It takes 2.2 hours to complete the process just for the radiator. They did not give me a written estimate. I asked if I needed to sign anything and they said no. I took my daughter, her wheelchair, our luggage and other stuff and Uberred to a hotel. They said it takes 4 hours for the repair. We came back and still waited. They opened at 8 and we left about 3pm. They didn't reset the overheating warning light. So I had to go back and ask them to come out and reset the check engine light. They also left grease all over the beige interior of my car. Well, they ended up overcharging me for labor and parts by about $400 compared to the retail prices of the auto part store that they used for parts and other local repair shops. They totally took advantage of our vulnerability. If you are a local they might be okay because you have other options, but as a stranded mother with a disabled daughter taking her to Camp Boggy Creek they totally ripped us off. The employees at the location seemed nice, but they still overcharged. The service manager seemed annoyed that he had to reset the light. I have filed a complaint with their customer service for the area and region, I am hoping they will do the right thing. The customer service says 48 hours to respond. Today was my third follow up - so 48 hours more. Hopefully they will respond -- we will see. read more

Had a 1230 appointment. I come back at 1:50 and my car hadn't moved. I was told that I was bumped for someone that had an appointment. When I told the gentleman that I had a 1230, the story changed to 2 people were out sick. I was told that they would expedite my service. I waited for another 15 mins and the car still hadn't moved. Great experience! We stopped in because our check engine light came on. We are traveling down to Miami tomorrow so we wanted to make sure it wasn't anything serious that would leave us on the side of the road. The team was extremely helpful and courteous. They checked the car/check engine light free of charge and advised of the issue which (thankfully) was only a loose gas cap. I can't stress enough how friendly and professional the staff was. How they manage to stay in business boggles my mind. First thing is they charge to check your vehicle when every other repair shop does it free. Now for the main issue here. They quoted me $950.00, YES $950.00 for front rotors and pads and 1 caliper. We are talking $40 for pads $125 for caliper and $75 each rotor times 2 which is $150, total parts $310. I had an 8 AM appointment to check out my tire for a slow leak. This place is incredibly slow. It took nearly 45 minutes for them to even start looking at the car. And then another hour to fix it and return it to me. And all that was required was to pull the nail and put in a patch. I've done this exact work myself 4-5 times In my life. Even as infrequently as I have done it over the past 30 years. It only takes me 10 minutes max to find the nail, pull it, and patch the tire. It doesn't even require pulling the tire from the car. If I wasn't on vacation, I would've done it myself. I am a pretty loyal Firestone customer up in Virginia, but, sorry, can't recommend this Firestone location. read more

I can't say enough how great this place is. It was my first time there on Monday for an Oil change and New tires. Ray helped me from the moment I walked in. Kept me updated on the time and service through out my visit. I had to return this morning because one of my tire pressure sensors was broken, or so I thought. It was a dead battery.
