Update from Nov 2020: I came here to install two front tires that I purchased from TireRack.com. They gave me the special TireRack discounted price and charged me $35. I was pleased, however with the rest of the bad reviews here it sounds like this location isn't the best. I did walk in to pick up my car and there was a tech fixing the signs on the window. Nobody else was around. I'd expect him to acknowledge me and get me my car, or call the manager. Instead he seemed unphased, que falta de modales. I also didn't like that the tires were not filled up with correct tire pressure. One was 36lb and the other 40lbs. I came in for a simple battery change. The car started to hesitate a little when u know it's time for a new battery change it's been 5 years. No burning smell no clicking sound or weird noise under the hood. Now all of sudden I also need a new starter....Bolognee ! There was nothing else wrong with the car from $325 for a new battery it's now $1290 for also a starter. I really feel like I've been swindled. I use to come here for any issue. I will never come here again. Initially my experience was not great. The manager was dragging about, nobody likes to work Sundays, but if that's your choice occupation try to be enthusiastic and friendly or find a job that doesn't require customer contact. I just needed a flat fixed, manager told me it wouldn't be until next day, i was pleasantly surprised when couple hrs later Nick called me and said it was ready. Nick was friendly and sported a great attitude. It was a hot FL day and i didn't see a water fountain so I asked for water expecting a small water bottle, I was told they don't have water, employees work outside in the heat and they are not supplied with the bare necessities, no water. I was told prior manager would buy water for employees but new one does not. I think we need to bring back prior manager who cared about keeping workers hydrated. I honestly could not believe Firestone doesn't provide water or have a water fountain, like all other well known tire shops do. Instead, they told me the truth, that it would not be worth doing the maintenance planned because of the condition of the engine. Honesty is a key component in any business. Was told the replacement of rotors and pads on my automobile would take only one hour, but the staff ordered the wrong parts and the job took 2.5 hours. After one hour of waiting, I asked for information on the status and was told that the wrong part had been ordered. At this point, I wanted to leave the shop but I was told the correct part was "on its way". The correct part did not arrive for an additional 45 minutes. Altogether, I waited an extra 90 minutes. The service technician was knowledgeable and did good work. However, no discount offered to me as the customer for this extended wait due to error on the part of the service center. I went for an alignment. Took a video of my entire car before the service as a preventative. When I got the car back it had 3 deep scratches in the driver door and I immediately reported it to them. They then made me wait 30 minutes, proceeded to say bad things about me in Spanish like if I didn't speak the language. Then say that I'm lying when I then show them proof of video they blow me off and say there is. O possible way they could have scratched it. They also took my car on public roads multiple time and floored it. I have dash cam footage of this as well. After them blowing me off and throwing their hands around saying "nothing is gonna happen and we can't do anything for you" I asked for their corporate number. And the cherry on top the alignment never worked. Car still doesn't drive straight. They said I will get nothing from corporate and that I wasted their time. I ended up paying $1082.52 for a complete vehicle inspection , cabin air filter, wiper blades, brake fluid, Fuel system cleaning and a valve cover gasket.. never an oil change nor checking for the oil leak, ( I found out later) jI asked about the gas smell and they denied the smell both Alex the manager and Salvador at the counter. The mechanic that gave me the car back admitted to the smell and claimed that The gas smell was (supposedly) a can of fix a flat that burst in the trunk. The next morning the car still had the oil leak and the emission light was on. I took it back. Salvador the gentleman who helped me said they would look at it again. The next day I called to see what they found and they found nothing, because they never checked. I took the car out of there and after $1082. my car is exactly the same . Nester & Ignacio, started to fight over a job that Ignacio took that Nester felt belonged to him. Nester started to scream at Ignacio and within 2 minutes Nester ran up to Ignacio"s face and this game got violent verbally and almost physically. I told Robert they were about to get into a fist fight Robert got the phone speaker and asked screaming for them to separate. They completely ignored Robert and kept fight and screaming with a lobby full of customers and me standing trying to get helped by Robert looking straight into the glass and seeing the violent behavior between both employees. They kept on for over 25 minutes, Robert went inside the work area and screamed at both employees Nester and Ignacio to please STOP that customers were complaining. They completely ignored and disregarded him. While the other person (Salvador) just stood in front of a computer and disregarded Roberts request for help in regards to the violent behavior happening in between Neater and Ignacio. I was super nervous and felt totally violated as a customer. Question to Firestone- How safe and how would you feel having one of these individuals working on your car after such a terrible behavior in between mechanics?? These mechanics represent Firestone and what I was a waitress too on this morning was the worse violent behavior I have ever seen. Another customer went to pay and stated "these two guys are always fighting in this manner in front of customers, I have brought my car here before and they have done this in front of everyone" The ONLY thing in that Firestone that is representing Firestone correctly is Robert. I went to get a tire replaced and took an alignment and had an excellent experience with friendly customer service and very easy-going with my walk-in. This is my second experience with this place. There's a reason why this place has 1.5 stars. My first one was like 2 stars but I didn't take the time to review. I was overcharged for brake service, took two hours longer than estimated and then wanted to charge for a bunch of extra things. Left all the tires with different air pressure as well. This time I should have known better. There's 5 guys just standing around at 4:40 on a Saturday. I come in to rotate tires and simple oil change and they tell me they're too busy and backed up. Went to the Firestone at 12005 SW 129th Court for an oil change and a front brake job. When I went to pick up the car I was charged $28 to rotate the tires. I told the employee that the tires were now, did not need to be rotated and that I never authorized the work. The employee then told me that in order to do the front brake job they had to rotate the tires! This is complete nonsense. He then told me that in any case they would have charged me 24.99 to remove the tires. Firestone's web-site says the brake check is free. read more

Five stars for this visit! I picked up a screw in a tire on the way to the airport and got a low tire light. I stopped at the closest tire shop and was told the tire was not repairable due to the location of screw. I had them air it up and drove to the airport as I had no time to find a Firestone shop. I knew I would return to a flat. Oh well. I returned late yesterday afternoon and called this location for help. They had the tire ready for me when I got there and quickly had me on my way home. I had gone to car dealer yesterday for service and was told I needed to have my front and rear brakes done and resurfaced at $239 for front and $239 for rear plus tax...= low $500. So after seeing Firestone's $89.99 (after $25 mail-in rebate) commercial last night I said perfect just what I need. Printed it and went there this morning. Happy to have my brakes finally done in the low $200 range. Yea not so fast... I told the tech at Firestone I needed the brake service dealer wanted done... Firestone; we need to check your cars brakes before we take your word for it and it's usually $19.99 but on sale for $9.99. Me: fine whatever I get it, people come here and waste their time often etc... Ok I will pay you $10 to check my brakes even though I have the dealer estimate telling you what it needs. Firestone: so we checked your brakes and it's going to come out to $514.58 + $10 (brake check). Me: WHAT? How does two coupons for $89.99 (after $25 mail-in rebate) even amount to over $514.58??? Firestone: Well you the brake fluid flush is an extra $80, and you need new rotors for the rear which are an extra $160. Me: that's ridiculous (nicely of course) Firestone :you can apply for the Firestone credit card. Me: your charging me what the original manufacturers dealer is charging me and for services and parts that the dealer is not even charging me for. That's not logical. Firestone: well I don't know how the dealer can be less than us but I can take off the rotors and charge you $300 +... But your brakes will squeak. Me: my brakes don't squeak now so why would I pay you to make them squeak? I'm sorry but not paying for this. Keys please. Firestone : Ok sir, it'll be $10 for checking your brakes, have a nice day. It's the old bait and switch, get your car on the Jacks, take off your wheels and stick a high bill at your face making you feel obligated to pay... I don't think so, you wasted my time and money so I will waste yours. It turns out the $10 special to check my brakes was what they call a Spring Car Care Package that checks your entire cars fluids, tire rotation etc... They did none of that. That was optional service and made it sound like it was required ... The $80 brake fluid flush another add on service that says recommended but they tell you required. It is often challenging to go to te mechanic since Im not too knowledgeable about car parts. So it heppens that I went to firestone I I got a lower speed rating than recommended and it seems like it may have been to sell me a more expensive tire. To their defense the speed rating should have an impact on the issue I was Gavin with the tires but after doing some research it may not be so black and white and after all, they still sold me a tire a 3 levels lower than recommended. I'm leaving a 3 rating review because the people I dealt with after all were courteous even though a little resistant initially to give me a prorated credit for selling me the tire that even their system did not recommend. read more

To save money I try to buy my tires else where. However back in October I have to pass an inspection for uber drive and the manager told me he would not pass me until I got new tires, they cost me close to $500 . I was told I would have an "accident" if I did not replace them. That was October /2016. Today I went in for an oil change and the manager tells me that I need to replace my tires again and pay $109 or else I will have an "accident ". I have to pay because of alignment issues. Need a flat repaired, that's $35.00. Give me a break when you got guys doing it down the street for $10 to $15. And yeah, they say that they perform an inside plug. Bought tires here. Had a flat I needed fixed and tires rotated as well as an oil change. I went back home and started driving around my oil light came on as well as my windshield washer light. My rear tire (it was my front but they did rotate it back) also went flat again. I looked at the oil it was old and dirty. I brought the car back in and they said their is no way (zero chance) that they forgot to do the oil change. They then called me a lair and said oh we will take a look at it but we did nothing wrong. I know a bit about cars so I told them they were full of crap. They said oh well maybe you had a crack in the windshield wiper fluid case.....wtf!!!! You don't have to lie just be honest. This place is terrible!!!! I brought my car in to have the compressor for my a/c put on because it broke after 6 months so I was still under warranty with them. Started from being a 2 hour job to a next day job because they couldn't get the compressor. I finally got the car back 30 hours later and the compressor is broken again I have had to be dealing with these people for over a week and they have put 3 different compressors and they all seem to keep breaking. If I could put a -star, I would! I made an appointment to align the wheels of my car that I have lifetime alignment warranty on. They told me it would take an hour when I walked in even after I made an appointment. After an hour of waiting, they still have not touched my car and their explanation is that they had another appointment at the same time (they only have one alignment machine). Then what's the point of making appointments if the wait is the same. They double book appointments? I took my car in for tire rotation and oil change, as soon as I left the parking lot my car started making a ton of noises it never made before.. I called the guy at the front desk and he said they were booked for the day and that my car is fine.. (it was fine till I took it to them) my car ended up almost collapsing because of a bad wheel barring on 6 hour trip on the highway. I took my car in at another firestone and they said all the things they told me to change I don't need... I hate to say it because I I've been a long time customer here, but these guys will destroy your car and make you pay for it. Was apprehensive this morning going to Firestone but I had no choice, yet from the minute I walked in Danny Hammer was helpful, efficient, knowledgeable and best of all fair. I never felt like he was trying to over charge for anything and he made sure I got back to work as quickly as possible.
