I've never had a bad experience at this Firestone until today, and it was disappointing. I have a Firestone credit card that I don't carry because they've always been able to look it up. I sometimes freeze my credit cards for security reasons (unfortunately, I forgot that I had frozen this card since I last used it), so when my husband and son went in, the system couldn't pull it up. I called the credit card company myself, and they told me the store could call if needed. They never looked up my information when I called but only told me to either order another card or have a store representative call for access. When I passed that along, the employee helping my husband, Mike, got irritated and said, "I don't know why they told you that." Very unprofessional. When he called, he got even more frustrated and said, "I shouldn't be doing this." That is completely unacceptable to say to a customer. On top of that, the credit card company gave him incorrect information about my account needing a letter to unfreeze it. That's not true, it's literally a quick toggle in the app. I wasn't privy to that conversation as I had already hung up the phone. But, because he said this, my husband just used another method of payment. I am not negating the role that I played in the confusion by not remembering that I froze my card, I just believe the whole situation was handled poorly by the representative. I'm not expecting perfection, but I do expect basic respect and patience. Mike's attitude was unnecessary, and it has changed how I feel about this location. Customer service is never easy and that's why it's not a job for everyone. Today it was not for Mike. Do better, Mike. Sometimes you simply need to step away and allow someone else to handle confusing or irritating situations when you lack the capacity to do so in the moment. read more

This has to be the worse ripoff shop in America. Never fix anything, always finding something else to charge you for. Slow business is an understatement. I've spent a ton of money here and can't get a call to say service is done. SMH. I only came out of convenience as I live within walking distance. I had a horrible experience regarding my AC which is another story entirely. I understand that they are busy, but don't offer a service you fail to do. If zero star was an option When the guy at the counter is high from smoking weed should have been my first red flag...clueless guy stayed there for almost 4 hours. I want my 4 hours back . And nothing was accomplished. They couldn't fix our problem. Try to tell me they plugged it and patched it. You can do only one or the other plug or patch and they got silent. read more

Best auto service for all vehicles. They do everything like sell tires, line tires, repair front ends, repair air conditions. They are a total car care center. So, if you need something on your car, you don't have to run all over town for maintenance for your car. You can do everything in one setting and be at ease. And this also includes oil changes. read more

I have been to this Firestone locations several times, but I have never given a review for it. I came early on a Saturday morning because I needed four new tires and an oil change. I was told it would be a longer wait because the tires were not in the shop, however it was an oversight by the sales rep and the tires were found. My total wait time for the both tires, alignment and oil change was around 2.0 hours, but the technician performed a diagnostic check on my battery(I did notice my battery level erratic movement on my dash) and found out I had a dead cell so I added an addition 45 minutes for a new battery. My experience at this location has been good. I like the lifetime balancing(life of the tires) and the way the I was able to get in and have work done without an appointment. I like the idea this location is open 7 days/week and I can leave my vehicle if needed. When I come here, I feel my car will be cared for the same way the dealership would perform. I wanted to have a transmission flush done, but they stated that was not their specialty. That I can appreciate their honesty. read more

ZERO STARS This might be the worst auto center on the planet. The inept manager is so clueless, he won't let you know when there's a delay in your repair and it has taken THREE DAYS to fix a simple problem with my car. No calls. No alerts. No "hey, we are too stupid to fix the problem, so good luck". Three days after giving these clowns my crap, I'm RENTING A CAR TO DRIVE ON MY VACATION. $400 because these idiots can't tell you when a repair MIGHT be ready. Would've given them 5 stars but when I came in for tires, they quoted me without telling me two things: 1) that their quote includes their road hazard warranty, and 2) that they had an ongoing promotion for $100 off when spending $500 on tires. Firstly, when I comparison shop it helps to know everything included in the quote. Secondly, how can you leave out a $100 discount that I would've qualified for from your quote?! Needless to say, with their promotion (after coming back and confirming I qualified) they were the best deal so I took a chance with them on tires and an alignment. They were also reasonably quick as I waited and it's been two weeks since and my tires are still inflated and the alignment is very good. So can't complain except for them needing to do a better job with their price quotes. read more

Having a muffler ricketing and racketing is not a good way to arrive Memphis for a road trip stop over. Walked in at close to 5pm when they close at 6pm and still so welcoming and helpful. Got a temporary fix that will get us back on the road with no issues since it was a complicated repair. Lori is an asset to Firestone. Great attitude, character and personality. These guys were a god-send. Just made it across the border to Mississippi headed back to Georgia and one of my much neglected tires blows a chunk! I crawl back to Memphis only to find out my spare is low. Get a tow there on a late Sunday evening after closing. Next day, they called me and gave me a really good price to replace my two rear tires and my spare. They were quick and even washed the brake dust off my rims. read more

Someone from Firestone responded to me my review and I replied to theirs by email as they requested. I gave them all the details that they asked for but they never responded back to me. I wonder why? Maybe after investigating both sides, they found that they messed up and didn't want to admit responsibility of the issue and just hope that this would just die and cremated before burying it 36 feet deep. Arrived when they first opened and within 5 minutes my vehicle was in the bay area. The waiting area was clean and one can sit and watch through the glass their car being serviced. The location of this Firestone allows one to find something to do (i.e. eating, shopping, FedEx Kinkos, etc.) while waiting. Like most service facilities, you go in for an oil change, but leave with new windshield wipers. The staff was friendly and on point for a Saturday morning during the holidays. The three star rating is partially due to the charge for labor (really wasn't expecting it to be that much). None the less, job well done and would recommend to others. read more

I was in Memphis on a weekend getaway when I had car issues. The tow truck driver told me to take it to Firestone but I was being cheap and thought it would cost a lot to fix. So a friend knew someone who came out to look and said he would come back the next day. Well the next day came and he never showed. I ended up taking it to Firestone after all. I should have come here first!!!!!!! They fixed my car and it was not as expensive as I thought it would be. It was even less than they quoted me because the quote was based on what the no show said. And the no show even had me buy a part that I didn't even need. In the future, I will go straight to Firestone. They had a clean waiting area, clean restrooms, delicious cookies and coffee, and kept me updated about the progress of my car. Very honest and trustworthy people. read more

i came in last month with a leaking tire. Instead of replacing the tire they decided to patch it. Yesterday at work the tire went completely flat. I call and make an appointment to come in the next morning to get the tire replaced that I requested to be replaced last week. so I think all is well the next day and cime in tonhave my tire replaced. I moved to Collierville from the Chicago area a year ago. I had always used Firestone up North. I first went to the Collierville Firestone because the hood latch broke on my Mazda Tribute. They located a new latch for me and then proceeded to put it on backwards. I could not reach my arm in far enough to pull the release. I then took the Mazda in for an oil change, simple enough. I got home and oil ran all over my garage floor. Took the car back to Firestone and they said the oil pan drain plug was stripped. They magically fixed the problem by reinserting the plug and refilling the engine oil. Enough of this place!! So this week I took the Mazda to the Firestone on Centennial Drive for an alignment and wheel rotation. Got home and noticed the front tire looked flat. Went to the service station and found all 4 tires were inflated less then 20 lbs. They forgot to inflate my tires after the rotation!! Called Firestone to complain, was told they do a courtesy check after an alignment and check tire inflation. Good thing I didn't head out on the highway for a long drive before seeing the flat tire. I would have ruined all 4 tires. They offered me a free oil change. Maybe all the Firestones in the Memphis area are bad. Bummer, I paid for their lifetime free alignment service. Watch out! That's all I can say. If you want some tires or oil change, they are fine. But if you're needing other work, stay away. You go in for one thing and they'll want to do additional work, unwanted or not even needed. It's happened multiple times. Great salesmen! Selling you on unnecessary work or wrong diagnose. Twice Firestone quoted me a high diagnose. I took it to another service center only to find out that Firestone was wrong and it was less expensive. Good Luck! read more

I went one Thursday at 5 PM for a car inspection knowing that the store is open till 7 PM. But I got a reply from the sales person in a very rude way that it is very late and why I came at that time? However, he set up a meeting for me. On the service day the salesperson was good and well behaved. I did change the break fluid based on the recommendation, But he didn't provide me the inspection sheet. Next day when I sent back to get the sheet they didn't find my whole file itself. I waited for 30 mins and they gave me some other's inspection sheet where nothing is understandable, This kind of service I didn't expect from Firestone. read more

My wife took our 2015 Jaquar XJL to this location to get an oil change. We dropped the car off and waited on their phone call back. They called us and said that your vehicle is ready. We went to pick up the car and noticed that the car would not go into gear because the shifter would not rise from the center console. My pregnant wife went and got the acting manager and he just basically told her that it was already like that. My crying pregnant wife gave me a call and I went to the location with my three year old daughter. When I got there my wife was crying beyond control and after seeing that my daughter started crying. I told the acting manager that the car drove perfectly to the location but now the car would not even go in gear. He basically said screw me. I demanded a rental which he did give me one and I left the car there. I hired a certified company called Astech to come to the store and do a diagnostic scan on my car to see when the damaged occurred. The scan said the damage happened two miles after I dropped my car off. Why do I have two extra miles on my car for an oil change. So, I presented it to corporate and they opened a claim. They sent and inspector to look at my car and denied my claim because they said this was a pre-existing problem. But, they would not let me see what the inspector wrote. I was actually at the dealership with the inspector and he agreed that they caused the problem. Now, they are trying to give me a $1000 to fix a $2500 problem that they caused only if I sign something that excuses them from any liability if I take the money. What ever happened to being honest and taking care of a customer's car if you damaged it. This place is the worst and would stay far away as possible. And get this the manager quit a couple of days later after this happened. Go figure. read more

I'm beginning to think they are incompetent. I asked them to check my tire for nails/leaks because it loses air every few days. I asked them to redo the bead seal if they are unable to find a nail/other source of leaking because due to the rims I have, leaks sometimes happen. They did absolutely NOTHING to the tire because they "couldn't find a nail in the tire". So, did I not tell you to redo the bead seal in this case? Is the tire going to magically stop losing air because you couldn't find a nail in it? I was here in October 2015 and I swear this exact same thing happened to me. When Firestone Complete Auto Care is incapable of fixing a leaking tire, we have a serious problem. But they made sure to give me a list of "recommended services" totaling $458.80! I definitely WON'T be getting it done here. Avoid this place at all costs - unless you want to wait 2.5 hours for them NOT to fix your leaking tire like I did. read more
