I had an appointment at 11:30am to have my oil changed and tires rotated. I left my car there. I called at 3:30 to check on progress. I was told my car would be ready in an hour. I was there at 4:30 and my car was still parked where I left it. I was told my car was next. At 6:00, they had still not started on my car. I left and will never return to that or any other Firestone location and will never buy another Firestone product. read more

Firestone in Lexington is price gouging. They overcharged me by $400 for a part for my truck. I spoke with corporate and they stated they use certain vendors and it it was it is. That is completely unacceptable. I will never use firestone again. read more

Came here for an oil change and the skid guard fell and dragged on the interstate, almost causing a wreck. I brought it back to replace it and it fell AGAIN. Listen to the reviews, this place is a disaster that can't even screw a bolt in correctly, if it all. ‍ read more

Made an appointment online on Wednesday to get four new tires for my car. A gentleman called me the same day and said I would need to move the appointment to Saturday so they could order the tires and have them in the shop by then. Arrived at the shop on Saturday and the tires were not in and the price/tire had increased on their system. The gentleman said he would go and pick the tires up himself from the supplier and they could still get it done in about two or three hours. I was able to reference the online price and they corrected the price to match what I viewed when I booked the appointment. I appreciated the honesty and ability to get the tires and uphold the price of the tires when I booked the appointment. read more

This is an updated review. It has been a LONG time since I came here, but the reason that I did was because I needed to dispose of used oil and antifreeze. Earth911.com advised me that this Firestone accepted several types of auto chemicals for disposal. I figured that it wouldn't be a big deal to go back to verify that that they do indeed receive the chemicals since I wasn't asking for any servicing/work. It turns out that Earth911 was right and they were willing to take what I had. It also appeared that they had new people in the front (to meet face to face with the customers) since my last experience. I came back a couple times since then for more drop-offs, but one time I decided to ask the person there for their opinion regarding a trouble-shooting I was doing for a Hyundai (making sputtering sounds). We discussed the symptoms and the specifics about the car. Not only did I learn a couple things, the advice I was given helped me figure a solid path forward and the car is now working good. These days I'm doing a lot more of my own car maintenance, but I was definitely impressed by the knowledge of the representative (sorry, I forgot your name!) and that they were able to discuss openly with me and to give advice (no sales pressure to go bring my car in either). As a result, I do feel comfortable coming back and getting second opinions on any issues. read more

This place is a joke and they do not care about the cars that they are servicing let alone for the safety of their customers. Went for an oil change, left with oil draining from not one but two totally different spots on the engine after they touched it. Steer clear of place if you rely on your car to get you around. This place does not stand by their work and they will try to pass the buck. He blamed the oil leak on everything (age of car, mileage of the car, type of car, model of car) except themselves. Took my car in for a vibration/shake. Was told they do not feel it and they do not see anything. Wasted time and money. Took it to a chevy dealer, they said the wheels needed to be balanced right off, just by explaining it! Each wheel was over 2 oz with old weights. All four balanced, $100 later and the car doesn't shake at all. Like nothing was ever wrong. Working at a tire company and they couldn't figure that out. read more

Took car into Firestone for a routine oil change. Drove a wk and found large oil spot in garage. Return to Firestone to be told a loose drain plug. Told repaired. A few days later, I needed coolant added and another few days the warning lights came on and car was down 2 qt. of oil. Made appointment again and was told repaired, replaced drain plug & changed oil. Next morning, oil again on the garage floor. The car has never had any of problems until oil change less than 3 wks prior. Called Firestone and was told I would need to let car with them. Afraid that they were not finding the leak and what has happened since that oil change I decided to take it to dealership garage. Took car into factory dealership and extensive work had to be completed to stop the leak, appearing to have started at drain plug. Over $2800. Shop bill to repair a leak by perhaps over tightening or stripping the drain plug was suspected by dealership. Hoping Firestone would be interested in making this right and acknowledge responsibility I returned to speak to manager. Dealership had told me any mechanic would understand how the leak happened by reviewing the work performed to stop it. Firestone denied any wrong doing, blaming leak on age of my car. I was treated horribly and never once Firestone actually offered to take any responsibility in my car suddenly having developed an oil leak. Blaming only age and make of car. I need to warn others how a Firestone oil change could cost you thousands. read more

Made an appointment the day prior and their website said they had the tires I needed. When I arrived, the staff said they didn't have the tires and couldn't give me a day that they would have the Firestone tire I was wanting. I went elsewhere and found the same tire for $400 less than what Firestone was going to charge. Learned my lesson. read more

I had my fuel pump replaced along with $1000 worth of other services. I don't know where they got the pump but it has a 12k mile/ 12month warranty. Unfortunately 8 months later and 14k driven, the pump gave out. I was driving and the damn pump gave out! I wasn't left stranded but it scared the bejesus out of me! After many times deliberating with one of the guys here and the guys at another Firestone near where I live now (in another state), the conclusion was that I would have to shell out another $500 to get a new pump, and $100+ for diagnostic. My conclusion, inferior quality product and high prices. I took my car to a small local business auto shop and got it done . Not looking forward to buying anything from them anymore. read more

Real friendly staff. I brought my car on a Saturday morning and dropped it off. I went for a standard oil change and tire rotation. They do a very good job there and I know the job will be done right. I have to say though that I have never gone in there without a coupon. Without it, their prices would be too steep. And you need to be careful to stay on track with why you brought in the car. It never fails where they will call you and try to sell you an upgraded service. This time, they called because they are now offering to fill your tires with nitrogen. Overall good value with the coupon. read more

Was told by an employee over the phone that they could diagnose my broken vehicle. When I paid to have the vehicle towed to them, they told me that they could not diagnose it because it was too old. Even though I had been told over the phone that they were able to diagnose it. I was told by another employee that they would cover the charge to have it towed to another repair shop since it was their fault my tow was wasted. After the vehicle was never towed, I called this location to figure out what was going on and the manager yelled at me saying that he would NEVER authorize covering a tow charge on a vehicle they have not worked on even though I had been told multiple times by employees there that they would. I am now stuck paying to have the vehicle towed a second time due to this Firestone locations incompetence and rude manner of conducting business. read more

Please be careful if your tires are powder coated. I have big scratches after my tire was repaired That wasn't there before because I took a picture of my wheel prior to service. People are careless if it's not theirs. Prime example. I have pictures of before and after if anyone needs to see this. read more

I dealt with Ruy and he is the best. He listened to what was going on with my car and explained what he thought it was. He told me they would look at it and get back with me. He promptly reached out to me to explain what was going on and what it was going to take to correct the issues I had. Ruy is very knowledgeable and honest. He made me feel at ease getting work done on my car. The work was finished quicker than expected and the car has been doing great since the repairs. read more

Tire sensor malfunctions after I bring in my Tahoe for a tire change. I drive off the lot about a quarter mile and my sensor goes off for my tire. I take it back to see what it is and the mechanic told me that the battery may have died while he was changing my tires, yet I never had a problem with the sensors and yet the only fix I was giving, was to cough up another $100 dollars to fix the problem instead of just fixing what they damaged. My wife was also giving a list of problems with our Nitro and nothing was ever wrong with it when I checked it out and ran it through the family Mechanic. I really hate when they try to take advantage of costumers after I already paid quiet a bit for a service. I would offer negative stars if I could due to this experience I just witnessed through my own eyes. read more

Got my fuel filter replaced and the works that were included aka additional parts that failed to work due to dirty fuel.... kinda PRICEY. They kept me informed about all the tests they performed and problems..not sure how much of the problems were really necessary. Professional customer service though (Chris). I was treated well, worth spending my $$$ there. Call me a sucker but I just have to put my trust on the mechanic hahaha sad but true. read more

I've been working on cars for years, and am an engineer for a company who produces performance parts for engines, so I know my way around an engine pretty well. If I could give this a negative star I would. Horrible customer service. And they try to suck every dollar out of you they can. They act like you're about as dumb as a sack of bricks, excuse my french. Took my 07 Lexus IS250 here to just patch up a tire and they came back with a list of crap wrong with the car equaling $900. Save your money, go to Franks Discount Tire instead and get your car serviced right for half the price. read more

Came in to get an oil change before my trip and I'm asked if I have an appointment which I've never been asked before. I say no I didn't know I had to have one and the guy said very snarkily that he has a full shop and he can't work on my car while gesturing towards the whole shop. I understand if you can't work on my car just let me know you don't have time you don't have to be so rude. This guy is lucky my dad wasn't with me the way he talked to me, he's his superior. Y'all need to be better with customer service. I've had a problem the last couple times I've come to this shop with how they treat me just because I'm young. The older customers have always gotten talked to way better. read more

Went in for and Oil change and tire rotation and got slapped with an evaluation of my vehicle of $1800.00 worth of repairs needed. Tires worn out (by-the-way; they installed these tires last year and had less than 50K on 60K tires!)(credit of $25.00 per tire given only!!!!), brakes worn out, bad bearings in hub. Of course the staff was friendly until I realized that they were ripping me off and I called them on it and then he got defensive and wasn't as nice anymore. I will NEVER go back and would only recommend my worst enemy to them!! read more
