I've been coming to Discount Tire for years, going all the way back to when I first started driving and my dad took me to replace my tires. Whether it's a full new set or patching up a nail in the sidewall, this has always been the best place to go, hands down, and I'll never want to take my tires anywhere else. This visit was no exception, in fact it was next level. Joshua took incredible care of us. My wife needed a full set, and when they didn't have the tires we were quoted, Joshua upgraded us to the next tier of tires at no extra cost, on top of an already generous discount. Joshua is exactly why we keep coming back. Give this man a raise! read more

scammers, two idiot technicians pulled me over to tell me I needed upper and lower control arm replaced "urgent" it's bad, took it to a local shop with a good rep in town and he told me "the owner" that there is nothing wrong and they were trying to scam you. will find out who the techs are and i will be filing a complaint to corporate office to get them fired.. Highly recommend! Staff is friendly and helpful, store is clean, and service was fast!

During our trip, we had our right front tire blow out on the highway doing 80. Luckily no one was hurt and we were able to get the car off the road. After trying to get multiple tow trucks to pick us up to get to the discount tire on time before they closed, we finally got it there. It was past closing time and this team stay the extra time to help us and change our tires. If you want a great team of people that are going to go the extra mile to help you out then look now further. I have always got tires from discount tire and after this will continue to do so. read more

The guys at Discount Tire (by Target in Lexington) are very honest and have always provided me excellent prices and service. I don't leave a lot of reviews but they deserve 5 stars. I have bought tires there for years and always shop around but end up back here. read more

I am a huge fan of discount tire! I buy all my tires there! I was hauling my horse down from my farm in VA. home to Florida and I got a blowout on the freeway on the horse trailer with my horse in it! Luckily I found a discount tire store after going to three tire shops that didn't have what I needed. They got on it and I ended up buying four new tires for the trailer. They changed them with my horse still in the trailer in only 30 minutes! They are my heros!! read more

Just wanted to tell DT how pleased we are with the service and professionalism of your Sunset Boulevard store in Lexington, sc. Here's a story: since moving from Pennsylvania to Lexington three years ago we have had four tire repairs and one replacement from picking up nails, screws, staples, you name it. (The one tire that could not be repaired was damaged by a sliver of wood that punctured the side wall!). The four repairs were done by Travis's team free of charge! Besides repair, I've also purchased tires at the store. Tire price is always the best deal and a relatively quick turnaround on the repairs and tire mounts. Keep up the good work! Mark read more

Time is scarce for most people and when you need to buy tires, it does no good to hear, "we can order it". Discount tire HAD the tires for our Lexus 350 IN STOCK and put them on shortly after we arrived. Their crew is so personable and everyone loves helping customers. We enjoyed the experience. The job was done well and their prices were in line with everyone else. They had the tires and got the job done. read more

My husband and I have been bringing our vehicles to DT for about 5 years now & they never disappoint. Very professional, friendly, honest , & reasonably priced. I can't tell you how many times they've repaired flat tires for us for free!! That alone makes them amazing in my book! read more

Discount Tire - Entrance - Tires Near Me - Lexington, South Carolina

I bought a car from Carvana in February. I brought the car here a couple days later to be inspected. The techs here found a couple issues and fixed them. They were great! The next month I started hearing a weird sound and brought my car back. The techs quickly determined my compressor was dying and my evap line was leaking. They put in a warranty request for me, however, because it's an Audi the work needed to be done at the dealership for such an extensive replacement. The dealership service techs were not able to find any issues with the car and sent me on my way for the next couple visits where I was adamant there was an issue, but was assured my car was 100% okay. Fast forward to July- my compressor locked, snapped the belt, and everything needed to be replaced. Had to have my car towed to the dealership and ended up on the side of the highway, 8 months pregnant, with my 1.5 year old son for 4 hours- two weeks after my car's warranty expired. Long story short dealership kept my car for 2 weeks while I argued the $3,000 fix since they WERE NOT able to find an issue that this firestone found within an hour of dropping my car off in March. The workers at this firestone KNOW THEIR STUFF. They're friendly, reliable, and I wouldn't trust anyone else with your car. My advisor was Logan and tech was Edmond. Highly recommend these two!! Thank you Firestone!! read more

Blew my tire out on the side of I-26 and I had changed it to the spare and drove straight to discount tire, they already had my wheels saved and ready to go when I got there. They changed my horribly blown tire back to new and was ready to go in no time. Great team they really care about their customers! P.S always put a warranty on your tires in these instances it saved my wallet. read more

I've been to 2 different Discount Tire stores in the area. The staff has been very professional. I think they are honest. My tires had low pressures and were pumped up without a fee. The stores can get very busy and may require a wait. read more

We will certainly be coming back. My husband looked around at a bunch of different tire places in the area and this one seemed to be the best for quality of service and for our budget. We had a nail in one of our tires and needed to replace the 2 on the passenger side, we really need all 4 but are waiting on the other 2. My husband scheduled an appointment, I was able to reschedule it easily for a better fitting time for me. The location itself is very clean and sharp. I used to work for an oil change company and they would be jealous of the location, both for how it looks and how it's run. All of the employees were extremely kind and helpful. From the moment I walked in the door, there wasn't a time I didn't feel like I was being assisted. One of the guys recommended the other two tires being replaced soon as well which I highly appreciated. There were about 5 others who came in before me and I was only sitting down for maybe 30 minutes before they gave me my keys back with 2 new tires and a rotation. If you're looking for a place, I definitely recommend coming here. read more

Great service from caring individuals. Would recommend this place to anyone locally or coming from out of town that need tire service.

Great mgt. Company was easy to work. Answered all of our questions and provided competitive pricing Got the job done timely

Brought my auto in for a front left tire flat. Asked to replace this tire if needed and check my front right tire for a small leak. Was called and told front right tire had a slash on the back side and needed to be replaced. all other tires were checked and were fine. They ordered the tire and I returned for it to be replaced. When I got into the auto I got a warning the back left tire was flat. I brought the attendant out to check and he told me the "system" needed to reset, and I'd be fine. Trusting him I drove off the lot, but only made it 3 miles, and my back left tire was fully flat. I returned only to be told, the back tire had a slash on the back side and needed to be replaced. I questioned this as odd. I asked to see the original tire which could not be produced. Turns out the technician apparently put the bad front tire on the back. I asked to speak to a manager. Travis, the manager agreed the situation was suspicious, and offered to replace my Three other tires with new tires at no cost. I agreed and he ordered the tires. He ordered them and I returned a few days later and Discount replaced the three tires at no cost to me. my situation was taken case of by the manager, but this does not excuse discount tire from this very poor mistake or fraudulent business practices. read more

scammed! I went in there to discount tire center because Cooper from Ohio had suggested for me to do. i told the guy I want tires for 60 to 70,000 miles. He sold them to me kept going back there to get my tires rotated and after 26,000 they said there was a problem with the tires. They were all flawed. Need replaced. so offered me to trade them in for new tire. I purchased a warranty. I never purchased a warranty on tires before usually when I buy tires they come with 60 - 70,000 mile warranty on them. You don't have to purchase an additional thing so right from the get-go I thought it was being scammed. I went back in there and told them well to go ahead and change the tires out and put new tires on, Thought I got a good deal. That's where I got scammed, they put cheaper tires on my car. They did not replace them with the same tires that I purchased. so I go back there and now they're saying oh after I put about 20,000 miles on these tires (2ndset) the young kid says that they won't rotated my tires anymore and he goes. Oh well need new tires you got 45,000 miles on those tires and I said I don't think I do I went right to my glove box and got the receipt out that they had 23,000 miles on them and they were about worn out so now 6 months later I'm back buying new tires again at Goodyear because Cooper has now purchased Goodyear and I went into the shop in Ohio and they quoted me a price for a family member working at Cooper and I'm back in Columbia South Carolina gonna go to Goodyear just down the road from Discount Tire. lost a costumer for life! Manager offered me a cheep set of tires at full price. read more

Had a set of tire replaced. They're great, however, the tire guy used an impact to tighten the lug nuts. Now I'm trying to replace the brakes and I cannot break them lose. When I do get them off I'm going to have to replace them from being over torqued. At least this time they did manage to put them all back on. read more

I recommend this place because of great and speedy service and they even fit me in without an appointment and I was in bad need of tires.

Excellent service. Went in for tire repair, manager met me in the parking lot and took care of me. Showed me options for tires if they had to replace it. Plugged, patched and ready to go in less than an hour after walking in. Recommend them! read more

Excellent service and value! Timely! Polite! Wait comfortably or leave and rerun when finished.

I was on a business trip from Atlanta and in route I had vibration issue with one of my tires on my Toyota Tundra. Upon inspection when I arrived in Columbia, I noticed that all four of my tires had great tread but they were seven years old and had onset of dry rot. I was already planning on replacing my tires at my local discount tire in Acworth Georgia, but this scenario forced the issue. I showed up at this location at 8 AM and the first words I heard when the guys opened the door is one of them said "it's going to be a great day." I commented to him that attitude is everything and I love how he just started my day. My technician Branden took charge and did an inspection with me and explained the process. He told me to forgive him but this was his first week of working. Had he not told me I never would've known. Branden and team gave me over the top service, we're very professional, and their attitude knocked it out of the park. I told them from the outset that I had a meeting at 11 o'clock if they could beat that... They laughed and said I'd be out by 9:30 and they weren't kidding. I will recommend this location to anyone based on my experience today. I was in a bind and quite frankly was stressed out about it, and they took the stress completely out of the scenario. The team gave me a great product, at a great price, with a great installation of 4 new BF Goodrich tires. 2 thumbs up and thanks guys! read more

Absolutely the best. I have never had a bad experience. They do what they say at the price they quoted.

I've been here twice in two months. First time, I waited almost 2 hours past scheduled start time for them to begin work. Second time, I've been waiting for an hour so far. Also, had two shops tell me a tire couldn't be patched, yet they wanted to patch instead of replace(under warrand. Be smarter than me and shop local. read more

Bought my tires from tire rack and had them shipped to the store. They installed them. Everything was so easy. Did most of it by phone. Best tire purchase experience I have had. Would recommend this site in Lexington. read more

I stopped here on my brothers recommendation to repair a flat tire because they did it for free. I stopped in and Thomas the assistant manager immediately came outside to help and check my tires and told me that they do indeed plug them for free! He told me my replacement options and made sure I understood them and was satisfied when I left. Although I didn't buy new tires today, when I'm ready I'll be back because of the fantastic way I was treated. Thank you Discount Tire! read more

Discount Tire - Tires Near Me - Lexington, South Carolina

My frustration with Discount Tire is and has been their website. Specifically, you have to buy a tire before you can see if they can even put it on your car. As ticked as I've been about this the service at the location in Lexington SC is first rate. Go out of their way to make the experience a good one and really do try to give you options to save money. I've been impressed by ease of warranty replacements and the scheduled service options. I'm a repeat customer and love this place! read more

My service technician was Charlie, a good man. He asked me questions I had forgotten to answer. Great products and customer service is great. Love my new tires and wheels. They also offered a military discount. My go to tire store. Good people. read more

I went in for a rotation and balance. When I came to pick up my vehicle I walked out to it, first thing I notice is one of my center caps to my wheels is dangling by one bolt and the other bolts are missing. I walked around to each wheel to see if any other center caps were in the same condition, instead I find deep scratches on 3 of my wheels that were definitely not from normal wear and tear. These wheels aren't even a year old. I went in to tell the manager and he was kind about everything and said we can order new wheels. Fast forward to probably about 2 months later the manager has yet to call me or tell me anything about ordering new wheels. I've gone back to the store twice to talk about the situation and either the manager wasn't there or busy, the manager never called me even though I left my contact info three times with the store. I have 3 scratched wheels and no answers. I'm very disappointed in the way my situation is being handled, I don't recommend this place if you've spent thousands on custom wheels. read more

I was traveling to and arrived in Columbia at rush hour and ran over something which punctured my runflat tire. I was needing to leave the next day to return home. I also use discount tire in N Myrtle. They are very competent and professional. read more

Fantastic service and done sooner than quoted. Also their tires include road hazard in the purchase price. Also they patch/plug without charge. As a person that gets nails in her tires like it's my job, I'm sad I haven't been going to them for years. Great job discount tires. Many thanks for your excellent service. read more

Nothing about this place is discount. They gave me a great price on tires for my mustang, only to charge me more than the tires for install and disposal. Also, I watched as my car was jacked up with a floor jack, no jack stands, and the wheels weren't even torqued. Professional prices should get professional work. Recommend going anywhere else but here. read more

So two years ago these guys put tires on my car. I couldn't believe how fast they did it. Last week I got a nail in the sidewall and needed a new tire. They gave me a great price on the replacement and was out of there in 10 minutes. These guys know how to run a business. Why does every other tire shop take what seems like forever to put tires on? Go here. You won't regret it. They only do tires, no oil changes etc. that also means the manager isn't trying to upswell you on having other services done. They quote the price and in record time you have new tires at a great price. read more

I just wanted to say thank you to everyone at Discount Tire today for helping me. I have been dealing with the tire issues for three weeks and they fixed it right away. Didn't buy my tires here, but they offered to fix my flat for free anyway. Great customer service and friendly people.
