There was an issue with the brakes on our drive so we took it to a mechanic while on our trip and there were multiple issues with the brake work and the lug nuts were not even fully tightened. Upon our return, she went back to Goodyear and showed them the paperwork from the TN mechanic. Instead of owning up to their mistakes, the Goodyear people told her that her car must have been vandalized and that the TN mechanic was wrong. Do not use this location as they were very rude to my 83 year old mother in law and didn't shotty work and wouldn't own up to it when they were called out for it.

The same blades are available online for just $9.00 each. I feel completely ripped off by Take 5. When I called the Lexington location to address this price gouging, I was told nothing could be done because the prices are "set by corporate." I then reached out to Take 5's customer service, hoping they'd resolve the issue. Instead, they claimed I didn't have any recourse and there's no phone number for me to contact corporate directly. This entire experience has been disappointing, and after this blatant overcharge, I'll never return to Take 5 Oil Change. I would strongly advise anyone else to do the same. Customer Service: 5 Location: 5…read moreCleanliness: 5 Affordability: 5 I stopped by this Mavis Tires & Brakes location yesterday, because I had a feeling that my vehicle was in need of some new brakes. So I called first thing in the morning (0800 am) to see if I needed an appointment,  and Seth (store manager) said that they do a free brake inspection. He encouraged me to bring my vehicle into their shop within a hour, he felt very confident that they would be able to get too it quickly.  Upon entering the shop I couldn't help but to notice that the facility was very clean and well maintained.  Seth was the first employee that greeted me, and he was very professional. He quickly got my vehicle into a bay, and within 15 minutes one of his employees was conducting an inspection. Once they determined that I needed new front rotors, front disc brakes, and new rear shocks. Seth provided me with a price quote. I felt like their price rates were affordable and comparable to similar repair shops. I was very impressed with the customer service that I received, hopefully I wont need to return because of the repairs. Seth pointed out that they warranty their work, which is 12,000 miles or one year from the date of repair. I sure we will back in near future for repairs

When I go to collect the car I notice that we have 3 Michelin and 1 Goodyear tire fitted, order was 4 Michelin, also no valve caps fitted (fitter in office said that "he didn't do valve caps") As I was going somewhere I asked them to resolve the issue and I would collect next am... pick up day was not much better. They were very apologetic but we now only have 2 tires caps and I insisted they check all 4 tire pressures. 2 were correct at 33Psi but two were incorrect so I insisted they reset them. How can you fit the wrong brand of tire and then have such lapse customer service that you don't even try and make things right?.... lesson learned to consider other suppliers as Mavis seem very poor on their service practices.

I live in downtown Columbia, and was apprehensive to go barreling down 26 with a soft tire, but had read such good things about Frank's that I decided to risk it. When I showed up, it was about 11.30 am and the place looked hoppin', so much so that I took what appeared to be one of the last free parking spots. Since I didn't have an appointment, I was afraid this would mean I would spend most of my afternoon waiting. When I walked in, I was immediately spoken to, and given a chance to explain my situation. The man I talked to was very polite, took my key and invited me to have a seat and wait while they checked it out. The waiting area had these neat flashy bench seats from some kind of old car. The lounge area was spacious, filled with reading material and even had a tv. I only got through about half of an episode of NCIS before the same nice man was tapping me on the shoulder and handing me back my keys. "It's all ready to go!" I was surprised at how quickly the problem had been assessed and solved. When I went to the register to pay, he smiled and motioned me on. "Don't worry about it." I stood there in total shock and said thanks, while he wished me a nice rest of the day. When I stepped outside, my car was waiting for me with a nice newly plumped tire. I hope the nice man at the front desk whose name I don't know (is it Frank?) reads this review and knows how much I appreciate his generosity. I just moved to the area, and I look forward to supporting this business for many years to come. Thanks so much for fixing my tire and making my day!

Less than 10 minutes after leaving, my rear driver's side tire had dropped to 7 PSI. I refilled it to drive back, but the store had already closed for the day. The next morning, the tire was completely flat. Fortunately, my stepfather suspected something was off and took my vehicle back to Mavis. What we found was absolutely unacceptable: * The "new" tires were actually used tires. * The technicians had failed to install the rubber seals, which caused the air to leak. * They broke my original Toyota sensor and replaced it with a cheap knockoff sensor to hide the issue from my vehicle's system. This is blatant deceptive and unethical business behavior. If my stepfather hadn't stepped in, I would have been driving on unsafe tires that I was told were brand new. Do not trust this shop -- especially if you are a woman. It's clear they thought they could take advantage of me, and I'm grateful we caught it before it caused a serious problem or a fatal car accident. Mavis should be held accountable for this type of fraudulent service. I'll be filing a complaint with corporate and the BBB to ensure no one else has to deal with this.
