No smoke from car, no smell, no warning light on dashboard. Told them we'd like to take it to the dealership for it to be looked at and was told we could absolutely not drive it or it would destroy the engine. So what could we do? Very shady practices and takes no accountability for themselves causing the damage!! Also as another punch to the gut, was told the car would be ready that day after them having it for 8hr,...... it was not, drove all the way there for someone to tell us sorry it won't be ready until tomorrow now. No courtesy phone call to let us know, before we traveled all the way there. Leaving us stranded with no vehicle for a whole day and having to miss work. Then the next day being told the wrong part was received, forcing the wait the whole next day, again without a vehicle. The worst customer service I have received, and I do not live in Loveland I am closer to Colorado Springs-but the repair done on the road-had to take to nearest dealership. Based on this experience I have to say they have failed epically and I question wether service tech just blew me off and has not sent Caliber Collision estimate to "upper Management as claimed" I'm sick of this frickin' hassle and epic customer service failure-and physical repair a failure. Down a quart low. Called Loveland Subaru Service to tell them what happened...no apologies, no offer to clean engine, no offer of refund for botched oil change... nothing. All the guys there know who I am and don't treat me different because I am a woman; most of them know me by first name on the phone, what cars I own, etc. The owner has some of the best mechanics around and is always there to help, give advice and feedback, guide us in the right direction, troubleshoot, etc. It is great to see other people who are passionate about motorsports and racing. The fact I trust these guys with my car means I would easily trust them with my life. The owner once told me he took over this place because he couldn't trust a garage and decided the best way to remedy that was to run his own. You can't argue with that! For racers (SCCA Time Trials, Time Attack, Club Racing, Solo) they offer every service possible: Corner balancing, full race support, performance parts and installation, advice, troubleshooting, ECU upgrades, and they also rent race cars as well as offer driver services. For the everyday driver they offer basic services like fluid changes, tire mount and balance, mechanical work, etc. These guys have never lied to me or steered me astray or stretched the truth to make a sale. Their shop prices for parts and labor are very reasonable and they don't round their time up or attempt things they don't know how to do (which I haven't found yet).

He communicated regularly with us throughout the process and after obtaining the truck we wanted from another dealer, Kirk set up an appointment for us to come in and finalize the deal. We arrived at 4:30 pm on Tuesday, April 21st and were driving off the lot with our new truck just after 6 pm. That's what I call service. We are well qualified buyers and this is the service we expected, not what we got at that other dealer! But whether you are well qualified or not, everyone deserves good professional service. I received zero communication from them for three days and had to contact them myself for any updates. They said they could not reproduce the problem, but when I picked up the truck, it died three times in their parking lot. Did they really do anything? I don't know because they wouldn't give me a written copy of their "secret" paperwork as if it held nuclear launch codes or some such thing. They're a bunch of "newbies" with no customer service skills and no knowledge of older vehicles. Bought this truck there back when they were just Davidson and were decent. The only reason they get one star is because at least I was not charged.

They started going through how the price they advertised on the internet was already such a huge loss for them (then why advertise to everyone a price like that?) and how this crazy price they had agreed to do was such a "shock" for another manager (maybe that one doesn't have internet access? Not sure). But, this "shocked" manager was willing to add $500 more off of the price to close it anyway. I mean if $X/month is no issue for me, why is it such an issue on their side? I guess I was hoping for a more refined experience being a BMW dealership but it was the same old playbook. Needless to say we never came to an agreement. But, the way the salesperson left it felt like they wanted to sever the business relationship and that's my biggest complaint. Like if you can't do the price say something professional, and keep the relationship open for future business. That's how you do business (or at least that's how I think a business should do things).

I scheduled the oil change appt for two weeks in the future. 1 hour before my appt, I received a call telling me they were cancelling my appt because they did not have any 0W-12 oil my vehicle requires. They wanted to reschedule another 2 weeks out and said they might have oil by then because there was a nationwide shortage, but couldn't guarantee it. I was leaving town before then so I called the BMW dealer in Boulder to see if they had the same lack of oil. They told me that there was no shortage, they had the oil in stock and could get me in the next morning! I took the SUV there and they had the service done in 2 hours. I never heard back from BMW Loveland so I guess they want to sell me a car, but do not want to service it. This is disappointing after the sale support for a $95k automobile!
