He was immediately RUDE asking me why I thought I needed an alignment then went outside and said my tires were bald, which obviously they were not, insisting that I buy new tires. I've used tire engineers alot in the past but no longer after today. DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!! I had an extremely frustrating experience with this NTB location. I…read moreoriginally came in just to have four new tires installed. I did not plan on replacing my shocks and struts, but the manager strongly pushed me into doing it while my car was there. I trusted their recommendation, which turned out to be a mistake. My vehicle ended up being kept at the shop for three days because they stripped a bolt during the repair and had to order a replacement part. After multiple attempts to pick my car up, I show up to the store and wait in the lobby for 10 minutes before I walk out to the back and ask if someone can help me. Meanwhile, there's 4 guys sitting around doing nothing. The manger finally comes out and informs me my power steering was messed up, something that had never been an issue before bringing it in. The manager stated he did not have the tools to fix the power steering. Because my car was not safe to drive, I had to have it towed to another mechanic to figure out what was going on. I am now being told that my power steering system needs to be replaced, only 3 shocks were installed and the CV axle has been punctured! Which is a major and extremely expensive repair that started immediately after the work performed at NTB. All of these screw ups just for some tires! To make matters worse, when I tried to escalate the issue, the manager refused to provide me with the contact information for corporate. Being left without a vehicle for days, paying for a tow, and now facing a major repair after work performed at this shop is completely unacceptable. I hope someone from NTB corporate sees this review and reaches out, because this situation needs to be addressed and they need to pay for the damages they have caused.

Now I had to waste my weekend taking it to another Mavis that is competent to fix these Shadetree mechanics incompetency. It just doesn't make sense if they don't know how to do a job don't try to sell it to the customer at least at this location in Irondale Alabama. And this is my first time coming here because they close the one down on Highway 280 because of this same crap.

Today I had a tire that had been punctured and needed another tire, and once again they took very good care of me. One thing I have noticed about Omega Tires over the years is something you do not find everywhere. The moment a customer walks through the door, someone acknowledges them and says hello. You are not left standing there wondering whether anyone has noticed you or is going to help you. They make you feel welcome from the moment you come in. I don't know a great deal about cars, tires, or motor vehicles, but I do know when I am being treated respectfully and fairly. I have always felt that Omega Tires treats me honestly and fairly. I have never felt taken advantage of, and I have confidence that what I am being charged for is what I actually need. I have never been unhappy with any tire Omega Tires has sold me, and I have never felt that I overpaid. I have always felt that I received good value for my money. Eddie, the manager, is always so nice. I really cannot think of anything negative to say about him. He treats customers with respect and even makes a point of asking whether you are comfortable while you are waiting. When I left today, he said, We'll see you later. It's a small thing, but that kind of friendliness makes a difference. Flo, who works out in the garage area, is also very nice and treated me very well. Another thing I appreciate is that the wait is not long. Even when they have several customers, they do a very good job of getting people taken care of without making them wait unnecessarily. After going to Omega Tires for years, I wouldn't think of going anywhere else for my tires. I like doing business where I am respected and where I can have confidence in the product, value, and service I receive. Omega Tires is highly recommended! God bless! Mark N Tim
