I would give them two stars, but they don't even deserve that. I called to compare prices and schedule an appointment, but the prices had almost doubled when I arrived two hours later. I understand that inflation is an issue, but I didn't realize how bad it had become. The employee at the service desk said that the wait would be 30 to 40 minutes, and it takes an hour 45. I took my bmw 3 series to this location and amazing service but when I got home and I was getting out the car the side bottom part on my car was as lose so I checked and my 2 screws were missing now it flops around. I'm sure the guy who fixed my flat was also the ones who took my 2 special screws cause I saw a nice bmw 3 series parked outside the location with no flats. so I'm assuming it's a employees car. i called managment and they said they have no reason for them to do that. Just needed a tire replacement got the runaround about pricing alleged coverage for the tire All for it to not be covered. I didn't expect it to be I didn't even know I had warranty on the tire but magically there was no warranty at all... Oh but they gave me a 10% discount for the inconvenience. I will never go there again they lost several of my custom tire valve stem covers and didn't even tell me. This place is awful their customer service sucks. I called Firestone PRIOR to arriving about adding freon to my vehicle so the air will cool. I already knew what the issue was I simply just needed someone to do it. THAT'S IT! I got there at 3-3:30 on. Wednesday afternoon. Smooth sailing at first. As soon as i got there a man named Ant or Anthony took my keys and my car. So i'm thinking this should be quick. Red flag was that they couldn't give me an estimate until they checked the car. Okay fine but I don't like there not being a base rate for such a small service. Next, I wait PATIENTLY for 2 hours. No updates, no one checking on me, NOTHING and my car is still sitting in the same spot. Had I known it would take this long I would have chosen another day. I had things to do. So, I had to get out of character (which I hate doing) just for an update and to actually get the ball rolling. Once I showed my a** i got a price and my car finally started being worked on and was done in the next 15 minutes. MAGIC HUH??? Lol When they finally tell me the price it's near 300.00! Just to add Freon to my car, smh. That is insane. But of course I've already waited 3 hours at this point so JUST DO IT!! COMMUNICATION goes a long way. My tired had a flat. I took it in right below they closed and the front desk staff was super helpful and attentive. It wasn't long before they took my car back to check on my tire. They mentioned there was a nail and that I needed a new tire. I mentioned I had warranty on my tired elsewhere so they "patched" my tired for me. But by the time I got home my tired was at a 4. I had to get towed and when they checked my tired I was told Firestone didn't even patch it. Although, they were super helpful I don't think they like that I didn't purchase tires with them. read more

The front desk people who helped me were great- Costello? (Not sure if I'm spelling that right) and Mark. I took my car here for an alignment and while I was there asked about getting my brakes done as well. I would have understood if they told me I needed a separate appointment for that- but no, they were able to do it in the same afternoon! Turned out I needed new rotors too and they were able to do it all! Also, prices were much better than the dealership. I liked this location/employees/pricing the first time I came, but the second time the overall process was not good. I scheduled my appointment online for 830am and it was approved. They then changed my appt to 8am without telling me why just to be told at 8am on the day of my appt that the tech wouldn't be in until 830am and that I couldn't leave and come back so the tech who arrives at 830 won't start on any cars from the night before............ keep in mind I live 5 minutes away from this location and they didn't move car until 9am a full hour after my appointment time. I then had to wait over an hour for the report after being told it was getting written up. Just feel like they were messing with me because I commented on my appointment time being changed without my permission and asked if I could leave and come back as the tech wasn't even on the way. Only giving 2 stars because the pricing was fair if you don't mind waiting 3 hours+ for a 30 minute service max while people who arrived after you enter, get serviced and leave. read more

All I had was a flat tire and asked for a patch , my truck sat there for 2 hours while I seen people just having conversations and cracking jokes . I finally asked for my keys and they sent someone right away to work on the truck I wouldn't leave . It took nearly 3 hours to add a simple patch to the tire . I don't understand the logic in scheduling an appointment the day before and the store confirming the appointment to still have to wait 2 to 3 hours for a simple oil change. And the guy at the counter said "We have a lot of walk-ins." That's the ENTIRE point of an appointment: to be prioritized over walk-ins, otherwise there's no point in even having the option for appointments if you have to wait just as long as walk-ins. Are you dense? And then they have the audacity to print out an invoice that I didn't ask for about new tires I need. No thanks. I'll take it to a store that has more than 3 collective brain cells. I stopped in to have my alignment checked and they discovered a problem with a wheel bearing that I had replaced a few months prior. From the time I walked in the door and was greeted by Shamik. He was prompt and efficient. He kept me informed with the progress of my car and notified me by phone when they found the problem. When I returned to the shop I was greeted by Costello and she explained thoroughly the issue with my car. I was given a fair estimate for the repair. She also informed me that the prior repair could possible carry a warranty. I called the shop that did the original repair and indeed it was covered. I left there with the rare feeling of having excellent service from a shop. This was the BEST service I have received from Firestone ever! Thank you Shamik and Costello! read more

I usually do not write reviews however, I'll spend some time and write this one out. I have always been happy whenever I come to this location even though I am about 45 minutes away from it. They are one of the few Firestones that have an in ground lift to do an alignment on my car and I have always received great service. Logan was helpful in scheduling me in as a walk in (although it took about 3 hours, it's understandable) while my service tech Rubiel did a great job of explaining exactly what was wrong with my alignment. All the people here are true professionals and I wouldn't hesitate bringing my car back here anytime! (I'll make an appointment next time to help with the wait time) read more

First of all if I could give 0 stars I definitely would but it only goes to 1 star. First of all I brought my truck in at 11 and they didn't even bother to contact me about my truck. I had to call them around 5 before they closed but once I called I was told to give them 15 minutes because they just had a chance to look it over. So pretty much my truck sat there the whole day until I said something. Once they called me back they tell me to change to fix the leak from my coolant system would be $1300. I'm no mechanic but I know a little about cars and I told the guy it is no way possible that to replace a hose and the thermostat should be $1300. I told him the parts are going to be less than $200 and it won't take you more than an hour to replace everything so why is it $1300. I told him the price was too high and I wasn't expecting to pay $1300 so he asked me how much I expected to pay I told him I know it shouldn't be anymore than $400-$500 and he told me it's no way possible it would be that price anywhere so I told him I'm good I'll take it somewhere else. I get the invoice and look they tried to add additional work on the bill like an oil change. My truck tells me when I need an oil change and I'm nowhere near time to worry about an oil change. They added extra things on my bill. So I took it to another shop I know and I spent $410 for the parts and labor. The mechanic of course fixes everything up and tells me to make sure that whoever changes your oil tightens up your oil filter because it was really loose. He said it was so loose that if I'd hit a bump hard enough it would've come off. Thankfully he noticed the leak because for some damn reason Firestone decided to try and change my oil without me asking. I said all of that to say this DO NOT I REPEAT DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE THERE. They will over charge you read more

Total bait and switch hacks. Had my car for 6 1/2 hours, just to get an oil change and clear a "check tire pressure" sensor issue. They call and tell me at 6 hours that they've accomplished NOTHING I brought the car in for BUT did have time to compete a "pre-inspection" and determined the car needed not only four new tires and an alignment. If you want your car to be serviced in a timely manner, do NOT bring it to this place. I dropped my car for a simple oil change. The car has less than 10K miles, so there was nothing else to do other than change the oil. I dropped the car off at 11:00 am on a Saturday. They said it would take a few hours, and they would call me. No call... I call an hour or so before they close, and the girl who answered the phone had no idea about anything. I tried back a little later. They had to keep my car overnight. They promised that I would be the first one they did the next morning. I waited until 11:00 the next day. Still no call, so I called them. They still hadn't even started it! It took over 24 hours for a simple oil change. Went in to get one tire fixed with a slow leak, but then the gentleman at the front desk said he was going to "check the tread" on the rest of my tires, which I didn't ask for. I told him that I didn't really know anything about cars, thinking that he would help me out (my mistake), so it seems a little too obvious he just wanted to sell me those tires to take advantage of my lack of knowledge. He said that if I took the trip I was going to take, which I told him was about 20 hours and was taking place the next day, that I would "blow out all of your tires". I explicitly told him that I couldn't afford to replace all of them for $420. That did not make a difference because he tried to sell me those 3 extra tires 3 separate times while I was there and even asked if I wanted "low" or "medium" quality tires, still thinking he could sell me something that I didn't ask for. Not only did he try to sell me those tires that I didn't need--I did the trip by the way without any problems with the rest of my tires--he also tried several times to give me a credit card for Firestone and each time I said no. I have been going here for years, thinking that they took their own company's quote seriously about looking out for the customer, but it's very clear that they don't with the people they choose to hire here so I will not be coming back. read more

Made an appointment two days early for 8 am. Dropped the car off at 8 am for an AC check. Called back at 12:30 to see what they had found - they hadn't even looked at it. Two hours later they call and tell me what the situation is and I OK the work. They call back an hour later to say they found more problems. I ask how long it will take and he says, End of the day. End of the day, they call to say it will be tomorrow. Will be done by noon. At 1:30, I call and they still haven't finished. They tell me, Give us 45 minutes and it will be done. I wait TWO hours and show up at 3:30. Guess what? Car is still not done. The excuse? They confused my RAV4 with a Volvo that actually was done. It's going to take THREE more hours to finish. Truly, if I could give this place 0 stars I would. It is ridiculous. I dropped my car off to get my brakes replaced. They called me 2 hours later after the "brake inspection" and told me I needed my two front rotors changed out, my 4 brake pads replaced, and brake fluid flushed. I asked him how much it would come out to be and told me $908.00. WHO IN THEIR RIGHT MIND WOULD PAY THAT?! After I told the gentleman "no thanks", he tried to tell me he would find some coupons. It went down to $758. I still told him no and I would pick up my car in a few hours. He still wanted to negotiate the price after a continuous no. I went in an hour before closing to see my car still up in the air in one of their bays. After getting me "recommended paperwork", I went to see my car and THEY LOST MY LUGNUT AND TOLD ME "it came in like that". No it's didn't!! I very particular about my car and know for a fact my car was not missing any lug nuts. They had little regard for the issue and told me to take it up with the office guys. Minimum wait time: never less than a 2.5 hour wait. (Even for just an oil change) If you want friendly service this is the place to come. ALTHOUGH, Just because the employees aren't rude does not justify unrealistic wait times and incomplete servicing. If you want to waste your day waiting for your car to be serviced you may gather dust while trying. I have had the misfortune of coming here three times. First two times were early in the morning but without an appointment. Don't bother making an appointment, they won't prioritize your service anyways. I bought my car in to get fixed on. I dropped it off at around 12noon .. I had an appointment, they disnt call me till 15 mins before they closed saying they just got a chance to look at it and to leave it over night for them to fix it, the car was sitting in the same place the whole day damn near. just to tell me what was wrong so it took 5+ hrs after I had an appointment just to tell me shat was wrong. so I needed the car fixed I left it there over night. the next day I didnt receive no type of follow up or anything, so I HAD TO CALL THEM , I called and asked the status of the car at 3pm the man JONAS hangs up on me. so I went up there and the car is literally in the same spot as it was in yesterday. I asked did the part come in or whats the progress. the man said they didnt order the part till a few hrs ago . so the car been there all day before and half of the next day , and they just now order the part . like come on now DEFINITELY WASTING TIME LIKE WAY TO MUCH TIME . Came in for a simple plug in my tire, was told 25 minute wait, an hour later they pull my car into the shop, leave it there with nobody looking at it for another hour. When they finally did look at it they found the tire needed to be replaced (no big deal) but instead of working on it right away the staff continued to sit around the shop and do nothing, so 25 minutes has become 2 almost 3 hours. The man at the front desk was so kind to me. He made sure I understood what I was purchasing (2 new tires) and made sure I knew what I was buying before I even handed him the keys. I gave it 4 stars because... 1) They were fast. I came in right at 7am when they opened without an appointment and they began on my truck instantly. 2) I took a star away because finding the entrance to this place took a lap or two around the freeway. With the construction of a new building happening behind the Firestone, there's only one entrance, on the one way side of the freeway.... So if you miss it like I did.... This shop is under new management since my first review back in 2012. I went there on Tuesday, January 10th. I needed my battery checked because my car was hesitating when I was starting it. I was greeted by Ernie, who appeared to be the manager. I showed up after work at 5:30 p.m. Ernie assured me that it would probably take awhile before they could get to my car. I insisted on waiting. In the end, they checked the battery, it desperately needed to be replaced, they took care of it but I ended up being overcharged due to a $25.99 battery check charge being on my ticket. Mind you, they knew that I had purchased the battery through them at that very location. ?! The next day, I called the shop and ended up speaking with Ernie. I told him that I had been there the night before and I was overcharged for a new battery. He looked up the ticket, confirmed that I had been charged incorrectly and told me to "just bring it back" and he would give me a refund. No apology whatsoever. When I returned to the store later that day, Ernie was still rude and stoic, never offering an apology. I was offended and I pointed out that it was inconvenient for me to have to go back to their shop. He responded, "I'm giving you the money back", as if that should satisfy me. I asked him why he had charged me for the battery check in the first place--since he was the one who wrote up the work ticket. He told me "it should have been removed". I asked who should have removed it? He told me the person who rang up my ticket should have removed it. At that point, I reminded him that the evening before, right when it was time for me to pay, he grabbed his stuff and darted out of the store. It was weird when it happened, but now I feel that my overcharge was purposefully done. He let the other sales person ring me up and when I was confused about the inflated price I was being charged instead of what I had been quoted, he could not explain why that was so. I could go on for much longer, but I will save that for the customer service department. Ernie did decide to add an additional credit of $15.00, for my inconvenience, to what I was owed for the overcharge. That was after he saw that I was really irritated being there and me pointing out that I felt like the overcharge was deliberate. The store that I originally reviewed in 2012 is nothing like the way the shop is now, beginning with the treatment of customers. The waiting area was dirty like it hadn't been cleaned from the evening before (saw some of the same debris on the carpet). While I was waiting for Ernie to finish up with a customer before assisting me, I watched the guys in the garage clowning around, throwing stuff at each other, kicking each other. Just horseplay, but mind you, I was there at the same time I had been the evening before--when they were so busy they possibly wouldn't have time to service my vehicle. Since 2012 and the excellent service I received from the then-manager, Richie, I have used this location for *all* of the routine services for my car. Tires, batteries, oil changes/tire rotations. DO I FEEL COMFORTABLE RETURNING THERE WITH MY CAR? Not really! I feel like I received poor treatment starting and ending with the manager. I don't feel confident that I will receive the same level of service that I have in the past. Bad experience. I went in for a check engine light and paid $100 just to get it scanned. The employees were social and asked what I did for a living. After waiting an hour, they estimated nearly $3000.00 for the parts and labor. I was well dressed it could be that they tried to over charge me based on my appearance and assumed that I didn't know much about cars. I did not get my car serviced there. I was told that I would get a copy of all the codes, which I never received. I also noticed a weird noise in my car after I left the shop. Too many negatives on my first visit. (sooo disappointed w/ this last experience) Wanted to get my 03' G-35 coupe serviced for alignment. I previously purchased the "free lifetime alignment"which I thought was a steal at $120- I scheduled an appointment for 11am a week prior & get there around 10:45am. Told the rep I was going to kill some time and go to the movie theater next door to see the new Jason Bourne movie which started at 11:20 (20min worth of previews not included). I get back to the shop a little after 2pm to see my car in the EXACT SAME parking spot where I originally parked. Told the rep I need my keys. He did apologize and said that my vehicle was next. Shoddy work. I had brakes replaced with them in September 2016. They did not resurface the rotors and as a result, the brakes wore unevenly and were out again in just a few months (about 3k miles). These people do not take care in their work, and have also become very mean and abrasive in person, even for simple things such as setting up an appointment. read more

This is the worse place, never again will I go back. CARELESS employees. Went to have my oil change and Chris, is the one who did the services, went first thing in the morning and it wasn't busy at all, two people including me there total, after the oil change was done, waited 15-20 minutes to even be told, he never came inside to tell me it was done or anything he just left my car out there, when something was said he replied with "well I tried to call." Never had a phone call because there wasn't a number on there that was right because no one ever updated it it, and common sense wise if no one answered he should of come inside the waiting area to let me know it was finished. I spoke with the manager over it and he acted as if he didn't even care. Once I left and got in my car, the sticker was right in the middle of my window. Dishonest Establishment. Brought in Vehicle with a slow air leak in one of the tires. Told my tire was not repairable because of the location of the puncture and that I would need a new tire. I went back and picked up the vehicle and took it to another Firestone who stated that the tire was absolutely repairable. Cost $7 to repair the leak and was in and out in 20 minutes. I will be taking my future business to Odyssey Firestone-Automotive on Wilson Road in Humble. Its sad when customers are misled. read more
