I'm updating my review because Firestone replied with a generic "please email us" message and then never followed up. I raised a legitimate concern about pricing -- $250 for a TPMS sensor versus $65 at Discount Tire and a fraction of that for the same part elsewhere. I don't expect Firestone to match online pricing, but I do expect pricing that's at least competitive and a response when a customer reaches out. The lack of follow-up after requesting details makes the public response feel more like damage control than genuine customer care. Title: Ongoing Service Negligence and Lack of Response from Firestone I am sharing my experience as a verified customer to bring attention to serious service issues with Firestone Complete Auto Care at multiple Texas locations -- Irving (5410 N MacArthur Blvd) and Denton (502 W University Dr & 1850 Brinker Rd). Between June and August 2025, I paid over $6,000 for repairs on my 2010 Nissan Altima, including engine mounts, spark plugs, and a transmission repair. Despite this, the car repeatedly broke down within days, and Firestone's own staff gave contradictory diagnoses (from belt to transmission failure). I also experienced improper workmanship (misinstalled engine mounts, fluid leaks) and delays without updates. After multiple calls and emails to Firestone's corporate office for over two weeks, I still received no resolution or follow-up. I've since sent a formal demand letter under the Texas Deceptive Trade Practices Act (DTPA) seeking reimbursement and accountability. I'm posting this so others can be aware of the risks of poor diagnostic quality, lack of qualified technicians, and lack of corporate responsiveness. I have used this store for tires, oil changes, etc. for years, but no more. The last oil change my drain plug got stripped out, resulting in a mechanic bill of $271. The manager offered to reimburse me $10 for the plug. read more

THIS PLACE SUCKS (AND DONT GO TO THE LAKE WORTH LOCATION EITHER)! I made a reservation to get the lifetime alignment and my rear brakes done. So, first since I was gonna be swamped on Saturday I thought I would once in on Friday and drop it off. I get there and Mike attends me and I told home my situation about the next day and if I could drop it off. He responded very rudely by telling me "I don't know who told you you could come and drop it off but you can't, we don't have any room for it". Then I told bike so I'm basically damned if I do and damned if I don't, and he said yes YOURE damned if you do and you're damned if you don't. So I said I I'll be here at 10. I get there the next day, I asked if they could challenge the quote the dealer have me for rear brakes, then they tried and got close, and I agreed to it with a walk total for all of $750. 5 hours later I get a phone call saying my caliber had frozen cause of rust and needs to be replaced and also needs a brake flush. The bill went from $750 to 1,150! I ASKED MIKE who called me who I was talking to about this and asked him where the core of the problem was cause I had those calibers replaced recently, and he tells me I don't know where the problems coming from all I know is that you need these things replaced. I said forget the brakes and do the alignment. They said ok, I then called back after speaking with the dealer down the road and they said bring it in by 4:30. I called back these guys and said I need my car by 4:30 aid they get the alignment done by 4:30, they said they can get it done. I get to Firestone to pick it up, and the total was a small price and I said why is the price lowered, they said they couldn't get to the alignment. SO NO ALIGNMENT AND OVERPRICED BRAKE JOB, AND CUSTOMER SERVICE SUCKED! DO NOT GO HERE! read more

I came in for my appointment for a coolant flush because the summer heat is just bananas. When I dropped off my car, the guy says it'll be about an hour, which is great. When I made the appointment, they said it might be an hour and a half, so I was happy to hear that it could be even quicker than that. I left to grab a bite across the street and watched as the car sat the whole 45 mins I was gone. I came back and sat down in the waiting area. The guy comes out to tell me the guy that was supposed to be doing the service didn't feel comfortable doing it and they had to wait for the lead to come back from his lunch break. By this time, it's already been an hour and 15 minutes since our appointment time. It wasn't until an hour and 50 mins past our appointment time that I hear my car remote notify me that my car was unlocked. I watched as they drove the car into the garage. What's the point in making an appointment if we still have to wait 2 hours before they even bring the car into the garage? As if that wasn't bad enough, the mechanic that worked on my car wasn't very respectful of my car. I heard my tires screeching both times he drove it and I heard him slam the hood of my car when he finished with the service. The service was done well enough and the price was not outrageous but the wait time sure was. So they can have a star for that. read more

Message to the area manager - she hung up on me - Annie Lease made excuses for the following The most recent issue we had was with our Chevy Tahoe. We bought new tires and had them aligned on 07/23/2024 at the FW store purchasing a lifetime alignment. My wife waited for the alignment to be completed. Upon returning home I asked for the alignment report produced by the alignment machine for my records so I can see potential future issues. I keep the most recent report in the glove box. My wife said they did not give her a hard copy, but indicated they would email her one. After not receiving the first email she returned to your store to give them my email address and asked Jorge to resend the attachments. The second email only had the invoice/receipt and recommended services so I called the store and talked to the manager, Jorge. I asked him to send the alignment report again and he agreed. Still no email with the report. It was close to closing time so we went to the store to pick up the print out. When we got to the store he admitted he had no mechanism to print the report physically or to PDF as he had done with the invoice and recommended services. His reasoning this time was that Firestone changed the alignment process where they don't produce reports anymore. I told him that policy is completely counter to the alignment industry. Every alignment machine that I have every seen or used is equipped with the software and hardware to print reports. Without an alignment report customers cannot trust that the work has been done. Most people can't validate that an alignment was done aside from steering corrections. In our case the alignment was only done because of new tires. In addition, being suspicious of no report prompted me to check my car for signs of a performed alignment. I did not see any evidence of an alignment, no tool marks at all. Dirt covered the entire area of where it could have been adjusted (tie rods were caked with dirt). read more

Please take your car anywhere else!! I went and had a diagnostic done they found that my cv and a ball joint was going out on my car . They told me all the dangers of driving it I lived it fear every time I got behind wheel. Pay day come I was happy to pay for the part. Took it to the appointment wasn't even upset that they didn't take it back for couple of hours. When they told me that they got the wrong part so it was going to be a longer wait I was ok with that cuz I just wanted it fixed. When my car was done they stated it's making a little noise on the other side but they had replaced the cv joint. She asked if I wanted them to look at it again I stated yes. They told me it would be another 1300 on top of what I already paid. Initially I was ok and willing to pay but it would be a couple of weeks. I got my car and no sooner than I was pulling out of the parking spot I noticed my car wasn't right at all. That little noise that she was talking about wasn't little. I can't even turn my wheel without it popping grinding and vibrating when driving down the road . My car was not like this when I took it in. I walked back in and started my car is worse than when I come in. Than I was told they misdiagnosed it the cv joint wasn't bad I asked to see the part and they took off my car. They wouldn't show me it and wouldn't give it to me. Fast forward to today after talking to the manager and District manager I agreed to bring my car back in and have it worked on at no extra cost. Even though I have started I just want my money back and take it to another company. Luckily I asked again to verify when I got there cuz they lied in order for me to leave with my car today it would have been another 700 dollars. I stated again I am not going to spend anymore money with them cuz my car is worse than when I took it to them. Also the part they wanted to replace wasn't on my estimate the first time. well, this may depend on which Firestone you go to but, I've seen a lot of bad reviews on many of Firestones. This particular complaint is about 245 Harwood Rd. in Bedford Texas. I first started going there and the people seemed fairly nice. A manager in particular, would go above and beyond her job title. They always wanted to help out but then, some things had changed. I started seeing things that I did not particularly care for. It is not okay to say you did something on someone's vehicle when they did not agree for you to do it. It is not okay to ask for cash and not even for the same amount you were quoted for if using a card. It definitely isn't right to overcharge on a Firestone credit card. The other thing that isn't right is what I overheard today at a parts store. A person from firestone walked in and asked an employee from this parts store to write out an invoice for a part that they didn't get from them. They said they wouldn't do it because it was illegal. So then the person from Firestone asked if they can give them a piece of paper with like their letter head on it . Wow, the guy from Firestone says something to the fact that he had to buy a used part at another place. so it was asked why they couldn't ask those people that they bought their part from to give them an invoice and he made up some excuse. Didn't understand the whole excuse but it just sounded crazy. By the way, don't get a firestone credit card. I always get a basic $35 oil change and they charge $50 to my card and when my bill was due, I didn't know it was going to add 20.00 to my bill for being a day late on my bill. I called them and let them know about the oil change that I had received which they left the cap off my car but, anyhow, I told them I'm not paying any late fees and now I'm two months with late fees and my bill is now $110 for a 35.00 oil change that was done wrong. Never ever go to this or any Firestone! I took my car in to get my brakes fixed. They had initially told me that they would have the parts and have it fixed the next day. I didn't get my car back until a week later and had to call them because they would never call me back to give any update. Once I took my car off the lot it stopped running and I found out that they had messed up another part of the car. They didn't have me towed for an hour and waited 30 minutes before they even called the company. Terrible service and communication, please save yourself the hassle go anywhere else. read more

But when it's terrible that's a different story I'm not gonna go into all the details but I dropped my truck off at 12:40 PM, with an appointment at one, And did not get my truck back till nearly 7 PM for nothing more than a set of new tires that was supposed to take one and a half hours. No matter how many times I asked when is it going to be ready? It must've been at least 10 times. Just kept getting the same old response. I could see them back in the work area screwing around. I took my 370Z for new tires as I had to replace the old ones and nothing else was required of my car; it was all it needed, tires. My car is my baby and upon leaving after picking it up, on turns, my car starts drifting/gliding (or whatever it's called )..which it had never ever done before. I work out of town so when I had the chance I scheduled another appointment for them to correct whatever was wrong and instead of meeting me half way, they decide to charge me the alignment instead saying that it needed it. I told that guy that my car had NOTHING WRONG PRIOR to me taking my car in and it wasn't correct how he wanted to handle the situation. Told him my car ONLY went in for TIRES and ended up wasting another $130 later (for alignment). Told him it's a dirty way to make business by his men messing up whatever in the bay and not saying anything and how I got screwed out of that money and he had nothing further to say other than they were having an upcoming sale for tires and gave me a flyer for it. I told him no thank you not interested and he just smiled and told me to have a great day and to go back. (It was like talking to the wall) ...if it wasn't for the stupid alignment I def would not be going back. They messed something up and still charged me for something different. Henry Firestone (Yes, a real person) once said "Our company is built on people - those who work for us, and those we do business with." On December 31 I took my car in for an AC problem. It was diagnosed in a few hours and the news was bad, it was the second highest cost repair to the AC system. At 11:30 am the manager gave me the final quote of $1,100.00 which was way over my allotted $800.00(read: all the money I possessed in the world). Being New Years Eve they closed early so I thanked him and held out my hands for the keys. The manager said "You know what, *&%$# it, it's the last day of the year." He proceeded to use every discount the computer would let him use and I walked out with ice cold AC and only paying what I had to fix my car. They cared-they fixed it-they helped me instead of the revenue stream. Henry would be proud I think. read more

I came here for a nail in my side wall of my right rear tire. They replaced my left tire instead of my right tire. I let them know that was the wrong tire when they brought the car out to me. They told me that I should have let them know they were working on the wrong tire. This is really poor customer service to blame a customer (sitting in the waiting room) for not monitoring that they are doing the correct work. I definitely have concerns about the quality of work that they are doing, since they replaced a completely new tire and left the damaged tire in place, then blamed me for their mistake. I definitely won't be returning here and will permanently take my business elsewhere. Shame on you firestone. read more

I'll start with, I or a good friend do all of the work on my cars. I know what I'm doing, and my friend knows more about Subarus than I'll ever know. I have also been a pretty loyal firestone customer over the years. I on my recent trip to TX to visit family for the holidays, I had the displeasure of being a customer at this firestone. On my drive in to town I had a brand new cv axle break in Amarillo. I had no other choice given the holidays but to replace it in a parking lot. Had a couple hiccups with the replacement, but was able to get it in, and made it to Fort Worth. I took it to this firestone to look it over, and fix a couple issues before the 13hr drive back home after my visit. I told them EXACTLY what was wrong with the car 4 simple things, then I needed an alignment, and asked for them to look over the front wheel in case anything else was off. Left the car and went to breakfast. Got a call saying alignment was done and nothing out of the ordinary, I asked them to double check that the 4 simple things I asked to be fixed were done. They checked and said everything was complete, and done as asked. Paid just under $300, picked up my car, drove out of the lot. Before I even got home I could tell that they didn't fix one of the things I asked for... the simplest of the 4 things. The dust shield was bent and scraping on my rotor. I very specifically asked them to fix this... more than once and they assured me it was done. It literally takes a couple seconds to fix with the wheel off. To late to do anything that day and already had plans. Turns out none of it was done. So I took it BACK in first thing the next available day. Was absolutely polite about it, told them my problem with the service I received. Apologies were given. I told them the exact same 4 issues I needed checked and fixed. I was absolutely assured they would be taken care of. In the process I was told I had a broken tire rod and it needed to be replaced. They told me it would be replaced with an OEM part that it would be another $200. Told them to replace it, after they did I took the "broken" one with me to check out. Things seemed to be fixed FINALLY this time. Get home and find out they put shitty ass, amazon, china, junk, part on my car! It is not even a month later and it is already in worse shape than the one they took off. OEM I was told, this piece of crap IS NOT OEM! The one they took off I took with me and there is nothing wrong with it. It's starting to wear out, but absolutely did not NEED to be replace as firestone told me. I am so disappointed with the service I recieved at this location...the exact one I've been to tons of times before I moved out of state. I'm in the hole over $600 because I was lied to more than once by this location. This is my last visit to firestone. Pure laziness and out right being lied to is unacceptable. read more

Saturday June 11, on my way to pick up my wife from visiting her friend in Fort Worth, I noticed upon arrival that my vehicle had stopped while reversing into a parking spot at my wife's location. I managed to turn the car in and off and it was fine, no issue. Upon loading up the vehicle our car was hesitating when pressing the accelerator not minding the concern we drove and then noticed the check engine light was one. At this point I thought it was the transmission light. So we get to where we need to go and see another friend in the same town. When trying to park our car does the same thing when parking, it had stopped, again I put the car in park turned off the car and back on, again it dies and again I put it in park and turned it off and on again finally getting it to park. We let it rest for a couple of hours still thinking it was the transmission and it was over heating. So we get back in the car and finally decided to take it to Firestone. We get there nice location and convenient since it was in between both places we visited and talked to the gentleman who greeted us, we told him it was the transmission light that was on and what we experienced, we were notified about the weight time and the gentleman went to talk to a tech, he came back stating that they didn't do full transmission repair if needed and they suggested we try transmission shops in the area. After looking at transmission shops one was closed at 12 stating they closed at 2 and the other one was in a different city, causing more concern about the safety of us and the vehicle trying to get there. We decided after being frustrated on what was going on and what to do, we went back to her friends house and just talked. My Mother in law calls us and said are you sure it wasn't the check engine light, and I paused and said I'm sure it wasn't and I sat there and debated with myself until I got back out to check it, it was the check engine light. So I called and talked to Paul at the location and I told him what happened and how I messed up not knowing it was the check engine light. He said come back they can check on it and what the possibilities of what was going on. So we did take it back. Just to get to the point of my rating. We told them if it was possible to get it done same day if at all possible, they said they would call us with any update. At 6 we got a call and said it was ready. My wife and I want to thank the crew that worked on 06/11/2022 and got our car up and running to make our way back home safely. Thank you a bunch you guys. read more

Drove in from out of town. Must have gotten some nails along the way. Called around to quite a few shops with no answer and some who answered were rude and very short. This firestone happened to be on the way and was listed on Yelp so we called. Amber was absolutely helpful. I was very hesitant to get the tire fixed since it meant waiting to get new one put on but Amber made sure that it was done quickly and correctly. The wait wasn't very long. Great customer service!! Customer service was great but after nearly 5 days and $2000 we were growing impatient. After we finally got our vehicle back from getting a tire rod repaired, we started to hear scraping noises. It wasn't too apparent that there was a problem until we took a hard left and there was a terrible scraping noise. We took the car to a different Firestone (off of overton) and they figured out that this Firestone had put the tire rod in backwards. It was lucky we were able to drive around in the car as long as we did. read more

The guys here are great. I bought tires and had an alignment done and everything was done well with good communication and no hassle for extra service that I didn't need. The prices were reasonable and competitive and the service was done in a fairly timely manner. I will certainly be coming back for any other automotive needs. read more

I dropped my car off because the air conditioner had started to blow hot air and one of my wiper fluid sprayers wasn't working. I was told my car would be looked at the next day. I called each day, and each time I was told that they hadn't found the time to even look at my vehicle. This whole time I had to borrow vehicles and take Uber to and from my work across town. After 5 days they finally called to tell me that the compressor needed to be repaired, which would cost over $1800. I told them to continue. The next day, they called telling me they hadn't begun working on my vehicle, but that they wanted me to pay in advance over the phone before any work was done because the billing cycle was ending, which feels very shifty, at the very least. They finally finished my car two days later. All told, a week from when I dropped it off. When I picked up my car, I drove less than 5 minutes before the windshield wiper fluid sprayer stopped working again. I had to drive back to the shop twice in 2 days before they could fix it. A week later, I was driving across town when my hood started smoking and my power steering went out on the freeway. After calling the Firestone manager, I drove to the nearest shop where they told me that the brand new compressor that they had just installed was faulty. When everything was finally fixed, they refused to assume any responsibility. All in all, my vehicle was out of commission for nearly a week before Firestone even worked on my car. All of the work they performed had to be completely redone a week later when my car broke down. I'm not satisfied with any of the work performed, the time it took, or the price I paid. Don't ever go to this location or entrust them with your vehicle. read more

This place is horrible! At first I thought they were good but they over charge you, totals on receipts don't add up and they take forever to get your car done. I'm not one to say anything like this but it's a disaster there. They charge you for looking at the car (goodyear does not) and then told me that they wouldn't let me drive my car to another shop. Lady said she would tow my car there for free then ended up saying she would match the price...too bad it was $60 more then what the other shop guy had told me. This is our third 5 Star review on Firestone at Cherry Lane in Fort Worth because we couldn't be happier with their service. We just bought a used car for our daughter knowing that it needed some work so we brought it to Firestone and they took it right in. I wanted the car checked over to make sure everything was in good shape and safe for our daughter. The manager Luverne called giving me a list of the items needing repair with the estimate and I ok'd the work. It was done that day and when we got the car back it was like driving a new car with perfect steering, brakes and free of any weird noises. We know that this car is safe for our daughter to drive and can't thank Firestone enough for taking care of us like they do. read more

They did a fantastic job on my wife's car yesterday! We previously brought it to Christian Brothers Automotive who straight up lied about a simple repair and made up some other ones and tried to scam us out of 1000 dollars. We brought it in to this Firestone and they were very honest and the simple repair stayed simple and cost us 36 bucks. Go here if you value honesty and integrity! The con was that they suddenly got swamped and a 1 hour time estimate ended up being 3 hours. read more
