To start, the tire rotation was never done, even though it was charged something I confirmed because I had a mark on my tires that remained untouched. You did refund me for that, and I appreciated the prompt response. However, today the situation became dangerous and unacceptable. While driving to work in Newark, I began hearing clicking and then a beating noise. Thankfully, I made it off the expressway safely. When I got out and looked under my vehicle, I saw that the oil pan was hanging off and dragging on the ground. I immediately contacted your location and was told you would not be in until tomorrow. I explained the situation, including the fact that I am 70 miles away and cannot safely drive the car. I offered to send a video showing the damage and was told, "What would me seeing the video do?" That kind of response is unacceptable and shows a complete lack of urgency or responsibility. I am now stranded between Willingboro and Newark with no clear next steps and a vehicle that was just serviced by your shop. This is more than just an inconvenience, it's a safety issue and a liability concern. Please contact me immediately so we can resolve this. I went in to get a front inspection to diagnose a squeak. I was allowed to stay and wait. Once completed they notified me of the state of the suspension system and found a nail in my tire and were able to repair on site. Good and honest guys from my experience. read more

Absolutely unacceptable service and shady practices at Firestone Tire and Auto on Route 130 in Delran, NJ. If I could give zero stars, I would. On Thursday, 9/11/24, the splash guard under my car dropped down on one side. A neighbor temporarily secured it with zip ties until I could get it fixed. On Friday, 9/12/24, I went to Firestone and asked what it would take to secure the splash guard properly. The technician told me it would cost $15 to fix--sounds like a good deal, right? Wrong! Fast forward to Sunday, driving down the highway 30 miles from home, and guess what? The splash guard dropped again, scraping the road while I'm miles away. First thing Monday morning, I'm back at Firestone asking, "What did you secure it with, magic glue?" The technician tries to play it off, and I tell him what he should have already known: you need to secure the splash guard with bolts and screws, not flimsy solutions. He claimed they'd fix it, and when I asked what they used, he says, "We added two additional screws and washers." Really? Two screws for a part that clearly needs four? Against my better judgment, I let it go, but as sure as the sky is blue, the splash guard fell AGAIN today, Thursday, 9/19/24. I'm beyond frustrated, driving down the road with the splash guard dragging on the pavement and breaking even more this time. I get back to Firestone, demanding answers. This time, the new technician hoists the car up and shows me the "repair." Guess what I see? No screws. NONE. Turns out, the last technician used zip ties--zip ties--after promising screws and washers. The current tech informs me that the screws couldn't have been used because they were broken off previously. So, what was I charged for? Certainly not screws, because they flat out lied to my face. To charge someone for a repair and not do it is unscrupulous and downright dishonest. There's zero integrity at this shop. Firestone has no problem charging you for work they never did and lying about it to your face. This place is an absolute joke. No wonder it's always empty when I drive by. Save yourself the frustration, the lies, and the wasted money--go somewhere else. read more

Took my car in for service with a local Ford dealer and was advised to perform the following repairs with dealer cost: $319.82 Alignment $864.01 Front Brakes $897.20 Rear Brakes $1,666.79 Replace Exhaust Flex Joint $3,747.82 Total I opted to bring the car to Firestone in Delran, and got back the following: $119.99 Alignment $474.98 Front Brakes $594.97 Total As for the Exhaust Flex Joint, the Service Manager (Manny) suggested that I go to Penn Muffler to have just the Flex Joint replaced, as opposed to replacing an entire section of the exhaust, including the Catalytic Converters. I did this, and it cost me $169.52. As for the Rear Brakes, Manny let me know that they were good to go until next Spring/Summer, but he gave me a quote for $411.09 (vs $897.20). Excluding the Rear Brakes, my total spend with Firestone Delran and Penn Muffler (based on Manny's recommendation) was $764.49. The dealer price for the same work would have been $2,850.62. Thus, I saved $2,086.13 by working with Manny at Firestone, and the work was done on time and transparently. That is what I call a good review ;-) read more

So I've only been here a couple of times but have been a Firestone customer for years in another state. When I moved to NJ I was expecting the worst but to my surprise I can say the two Firestone stores I've used have been honest. They are not trying to desperately up sell you with unnecessary services. You ask for an oil change and that is all they will do. Everyone expects the phone call that goes "We noticed while looking at your car that you need X,Y and Z" They don't do that which is nice in my opinion. Some may have a different opinion. read more

I have been to this particular service center a few times in the past. I didnt realize that I never wrote a review before. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable. I had a few questions, they were easily answered. This shop is practicing the COVID-19 protocols. Limited capacity in the waiting room. Social distancing is practiced. The staff is wearing masks and gloves. There is hand sanitizer available in the waiting area. I came in to have new tires put on my car. I was able to drop ship my order through Tire Rack, as this is an authorized installer with Tire Rack. Not all online tire sellers are in the network. Luckily for me this Firestone is. My appointment was at 10 am. I showed up and my car was brought right in for servicing. The manager took time to explain the tire removal and installation process. Bonus! read more

This review is actually about Firestone as a whole. I particular the store in Maple shade AND Delran. Two years ago I went to Maple Shade for an oil change. I have the credit card so it's convenient. After a couple of days I saw oil in my driveway. Opened my hood, the engine panel was just thrown on top of the engine so the fill cap didn't seat correctly. Everytime the engine pressured up it was spitting oil down the front of the engine. It gets better! After fixing that I noticed oil pooling in the lower skid panel. As it turns out the genius who changed my oil also stripped my drain plug!. When I took it back, the so-called "A" mechanic tells me I have an oil leak... I said show me....he said right down the front of the engine....I said, you mean where the oil squirted after your guy didn't put the fill cap on correctly? He got an attitude and walked away. Well here I go again! I'm going on a short trip to Maryland with my wife. She took her 2016 Chevy Equinox in for a check up in Delran. I knew it needed brakes. To make a long short the tech Manny charged me 330 dollars for just rotors! I googled the rotor and still haven't found anybody selling them for more than $100. I even called Barlow Chevy NEXT DOOR and the parts guy chuckled! When I said to him this seems high, he replied....because of covid! On top of that he was trying to scare my wife into buying a battery and rear brakes. He told her, You'll make it down but you won't make it back! Stay away from these people. I truly believe they want to damage your vehicle so you can bring it back and over charge you. I plan on using every resourse I have to get some of my money back for these brakes. Brought my car in to patch a tire in the front, and was told I needed 2 new tires in the back, which I believe was true. What I didn't realize until 2 months later when I washed my car, was that both of my rims that they put new tires on were badly scratched. It looked like they were dragged all the way across the concrete floor. Never in all the years that I've owned a car has anyone ever done this. I'm a not very strong female, and even I can pick up a wheel...there was no excuse for this! I took my car there for an oil change. And a slow leak in one of my tires. They charged me 147.00 I tried to figure out why so much money tire fix made 20.00 dollars oil change made 60.00 it should of been 80.00 tops this place is Riping people off if your listening fire stone Crepe. Do not recommend! I went to firestone Delran to get an estimate for a noise my car was making under the hood. $10 sure did seem like a good deal for an estimate.. An estimate that ended up being a $1,500 bill. And thats not the worst part. After deciding to take my car to another shop I was driving away and my car was making a completely new sound, felt low, and (surprise) my breaks ended up giving out at a stop sign in my neighborhood. After almost rear ending someone, a Triple A tow, and $255 mechanic bill later and my car is fine. Why they either did not put my car back correctly, purposely messed it up, or let me leave the lot in a car that was not safe to drive are all equally good reasons to not go here. read more

Driving back to Florida my tire exploded on the turnpike. Firestone got me in with out an appointment and got me back up and running in the same morning. There is several things that still need fixing but they got it good enough for me to drive home. I really appreciated their honesty and not doing things that are unnecessary. Apparently new management at the Delran, NJ store. We have 3 vehicles in the family and have been going there for over 10 years. Set an appointment for the Car Care Package(9.99) and wiper blade replacement. Received a call from "Joe" telling me that I needed an oil change. Told him that I didn't since service interval is 10k miles. Told me I was wrong! Then told me the Car Care and wipers would be $150!!! Told "Joe" to forget the wipers. Showed up for the Car Care and "Joe" says -"What do want us to inspect?" I said "Whatever is covered by the 'complete vehicle inspection'. He then says-"you have to tell us what you want looked at."I said "Look at everything- let's look at what the coupon says". He then says "WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU CAR?". I responded "What he hell is wrong with you? I just want the rotation and complete inspection! "Joe then says -"You yelled at me" I don't want you here and I don't want your business." I told him he was pissed that P-p B--s did my premium wipers with free installation for $50 and he lost the price gouge. Watch out for the up-sale and rude "Service Advisor". Worst service ever. Came in at 7am, so I can be first in and first out. Had a 7am appt. It is now 9am and I am still here waiting. Their computer said they had 7 of my oil filters in stock, turns out, they had none. Waiting for the oil filter that is literally less than 1/4 mile away, at advanced auto. Since 8 am they were promising it will be there in just a few minutes. May not have been anyone's fault at Firestone and I did get the oil change for free BUT this will be my last trip to this firestone! read more

I don't know about the other representatives there but my experience with one of them name James was unbelievably disastrous, unkind, disrespectful, and racist. He has no clue about customer service. I spent $400+ on 6/8/2020 on repair of my vehicle because the maintenance light came. He claimed the repair was done but when the car was picked up, I realized that the light was still on, and when I went back to him to remedy the problem, he treated me with so much disrespect like something I have never seen. I could not believe he asked me to leave the premises because I told him I was not satisfied the way I was been treated. If you r a women don't go to this firestone. Yesterday I had a back tire go out on me on rt 130. So I took my car here. This is where I bought the tires from in 2013. I have an AWD SUV. I was told my the Manager that the hole in my tire was to close to the edge of the tire to repair the tire. But because u have an AWD SUV you have to replace all of your tires. Like I said I bought these tires in 2013 so they had about 23,000 miles on them the tires r to last up to 65,000 miles. I I told him to put the share tire which is in the back of the SUV and I will let my husband deal with the tire. After my husband look at the tire he was so upset that they didn't repair the tire and told me to buy 4 new tires he said that they saw a women that they could possibly take advanced of . The worst service ever! I stopped by and explained that my wheel was shacking and making noises, he walked around my car barely looking or touching my tires and said they looked fine. Then he acted as if he didn't want to service me explaining that it would be a couple of hours because they where very busy! This place is like many others. They leverage your concern for your safety and use scare tactics to try and trick you into paying WAY too much money for completely unnecessary repairs. My husband recently took my van to this firestone even though we had issues with the "fixing" a previous automobile that ended up repeatedly breaking down AFTER having taken it here. They gave us a quote for close to $2,000 and a list of all things that should be serviced. We had EVERYTHING on the list done. As of today my vans making loud noises when I turn on the car, press on the gas or turn in either direction. I'm so livid because now we have to bring it back in to be "serviced" yet again. If they properly fix my van this time then I'll definitely update this post and change my review but as of today this firestone is horrible. I've heard of mechanics purposely not fixing cars or messing the up to charge people extra to re-fix either on parts or labor. I really hope fire stone isnt that type of place. read more

Got my brakes done two years ago by this Firestone. Come to find out I had leaking calipers and now my brake Rotors went bad. Bye bye $400 because of course the rotors aren't covered under any warranty only the calipers are. then proceeds to tell me it's a roll of the dice dealing with brake calipers. It wouldn't be a roll of the dice if you installed good brake calipers that won't eventually leak to ruin the brake rotors. Which as stated above that you don't cover. Maybe you should cover all your work instead of screwing your customers. So if let's say you install crap calipers or have crap workers I'm protected. read more

I had a tire that was going flat quickly and needed to replace ASAP. It had been plugged before so I was concerned about driving on it - I used Tire Fix. I drove it to Firestone after work last night and even though it was late around 6 PM they agreed to replace. It was done at 6:50 PM we didn't get back to pick it up until 7:05 PM. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly, never complained or let on that he was annoyed that he had to stay late. You don't get good customer service much anymore so his attitude was appreciated. Basic tire costs were $90, I thought a little high but I anticipated with the last minute situation... SORRY THIS IS NOT GUN RELATED but its local and u should know don't go to firstone in delaran on route 130 south..they told me i needed a camber bolt in order to do my alignment back in November ..said ok get it close for now im gona buy tires also and do everything at once since the tires will change the alignment being im going to a bigger size.. well got my tires brought them the camber bolts got a call saying its all done went to pick up the truck and checked to make sure it was actually done.. guess what, no bolts installed yet my alignment is in spec and no one knows where the bolts are now.. so one they never did the alignment back in November and charged me for it since they were able to do the alignment now with out the bolts or 2 they never did either time and and doctored the paper work this time to say it was done.. what they didnt know is i am a forklift and tractor trailer mechanic and i know what to look for in the job can only imagine how many people have been swindled from there and the truck still pulls to the left on the highway .. i was refunded for this and will say the manager chris there did so with out hesitation and was very polite and apologetic for his tech read more

Called a day ahead to make appointment and give a "heads up" about the issue and upon dropping off ,guy said it would "probably" be finished within the day, I expressed the seriousness of the situation due to being a work vehicle and NEEDED it done by morning at latest and if they cannot accomodate,please tell me now and I will go elsewhere (Fleet card allows numerous other places) and was told no problem. Got a call later saying it would be done by morning. Morning came and went so I called and now it's a totally different story being told I heard him wrong(BS) . ) NEVER got a call saying vehicle was done,drove by and saw it out front parked and went in and sarcastically thanked them for calling me and the guy winked and laughed at me..
