If I could choose -5 stars I would! If you need your vehicle worked on do not go to Firestone complete auto care on Hanson Blvd! Husband took his truck in last night, they said they would have it done same day, however when he called them back just before closing, they hadn't done anything with it. One of the workers told them they were busy playing hacky sack in the shop and wouldn't be taking any cars after 5:30! They quoted him $800 and it quickly went to $2,600 and the possbly $3,900 however they STILL hadn't looked at it! On top of that he was told it would be ready same day then when he followed up, they said it would be ready the next day, then he followed up again and they told him it would be four days! Management offered $100 off and a rental car for the inconvenience but when we asked ti speak to his Manager he said he couldn't share that information and his hands were tied. Well we understand car repairs are not cheap we also understand the importance of honesty and commnication! We told them we would be picking the truck up to take it somewhere else and they told us it was already ready for us. Interesting how that's possible when they said that it was completely torn apart. This experience was one blunder after another! Hoping for a better experience at the next place...rant over; enjoy your weekend all! We have been doing business with this company for over 10 years and have enjoyed working with them. However, the new group of management and employees seems to be worthless. Filed a claim with headquarters, but don't expect to hear anything from them on that either. Two days no vehicle and now moving onto to the next place. read more

Both my wife and I made reservations for our tires and then reserved appointment times for both vehicles to install on our vehicles. Upon reserving tires and appointments, our costs were included. When we were told our vehicles were completed, the $114.00 installation was at over $300.00!! Yikes, this is not professional to say the least! When questioned, representative stated that online pricing was not correct. Isn't this false advertising?? What a rip off in my book!! If the higher amount is what is to be charged, then that is what needs to be advertised, plain and simple. We will never go back to Firestone Complete on Hansen Blvd again and plan on passing the word.. you work hard for your money and con people take advantage as all tires were already installed! Awful service. Dropped my Company Van off Friday at Noon. Didn't receive a update call that whole day, called them asking for one. No one answered. Called Saturday morning. Said it would be done in an hour. Arrived 3 hours after was told my van would be done in an hour. To arrive and be told the brakes still had yet to he changed. Never will be coming back!! I drove over something in the road that cracked my oil pan on a Saturday afternoon! Firestone was the only shop still open near my home so I took a chance and drove there quickly before I lost all my oil. They initially said that they wouldn't be able to look at it until Monday morning (not unexpected) but that they'd keep it inside their garage for protection (it's a high-end sports car). I had my wife come get me and headed for home. 15 minutes after getting home, Firestone called and said they did have time to put the car up on the rack and confirmed the damage to the oil pan. They asked if I wanted to come back to take a look and discuss options. I headed back down and they were great at showing me everything, talking through options, and making arrangements to get the parts. They also noticed that someone had placed a tracking tile inside the wheel well! The parts were ordered on Monday, received on Wednesday, and I had my car back on Thursday. I brought my car into firestone because it had a dying issue. They suggest a diagnostic test and a visual test to see what the problem is. The cost was over $100 for this. Then they told me they have no idea what the problem is and that my car is fine. My car continued to die so I brought it back in for another look. Again, they told me my car was fine. I started to get upset because I have now brought my car in multiple times with no resolution. Finally, my car stopped working. It would no longer start or even turn on. I called them and they had no resolution expect to do another diagnostic! I then asked them what the diagnostic even found the first time and they said they had no note of even doing it when I paid for it! I insisted for a refund and they were able to give it to me. I then took my car to Kia dealership and they informed me, my ENGINE is blown!!!! I am so upset firestone could not even tell my engine was gonna blow. Extremely disappointed with their service and was not helped with what I asked for. read more

Last summer took my 2011 Taurus in for oil change and alignment was told couldn't do alignment do to sway bar bushings were so loose they where ready to fall out and had a sever oil leak since I've owned it car has never dropped any oil leak was from power steering pump cap that was loose. What really piled me off today 04/03/2025 I took my 2003 f150 in for oil change and check all the tires for leaks they told me the couldn't lift the truck cause the leaf spring where rotten and making a popping sound when they tried lift it mechanic was positive they break if lifted any further I brought the truck home jack up the rear off the trailer hitch so rear tire were 2" off the ground never made a sound . I spent 35 years as a mechanic tell I had career ending injury to basically treated as if I don't know anything. I went in to get an oil change, and for them to check why my check engine light was on. After about an hour after I dropped off my car, they called and said the oil change was complete, and they also gave me the reason why the check engine light was on. They said it was a clogged catalytic converter, an expensive issue yes; but it's not an urgent fix. They gave me options of how they could fix my car. They said I didn't have to get it done if I didn't want to I could pick up my car right then. I decided to wait a bit, and I'll return in a week, when I have a little more money to get my car completely fixed. They work with you, and aren't too pushy. But keep in mind that the people running the front desk are tire sales men, and they will try to get you to buy new tires. Over all great experience. P.S. If you decide to go here I strongly recommend reviewing your experience for others to have more than a few reviews to look at, that said hope all goes well for any car situation you may be facing. I usually go to Ford Quick Lane for my service but I will continue going to Firestone now instead. I went in for an oil change and they took my car right away and started working. It was done in 20 minutes and was $28. At Ford, it usually takes them over an hour and they charge double what I paid. The customer service was great as well. Not happy! I had a flat tire on the side of the road and I'm a route driver. I called ahead and the guy told me I could be back in the road on an hour. Told him what kind of vehicle I had assuming with him telling me 1 hour he has the tires in stock. Just found on now it will be two hours. Wish I would have gone to discount tire or tires plus they both told me that had tires in stock and could be back out in an actual hour. read more

Go somewhere else. Went there to get a tire repaired . They could not get me in for 3 days and when I got there got in they said the puncher was to close to the side wall and would not even attempt to repair it. They would not sell me just one tire I had to purchase 4. went home with the same hole i had when I started. Then I went to a auto store and purchased myself a repair kit. I had a defective Firestone tire I bought on walmart.com, I contacted walmart.com and they told me to go to my nearest firestone dealer and they will make the warranty adjustment, I went to this dealer in Coon Rapids and he said I have to go thru walmart.com for the warranty, DUH I told him walmart.com told me to got a Dealer!! because of this. I called Firestone corporate warranty division and they said that the dealer is to do the warranty adjustment regardless of where it was purchased as long I had a receipt of which I have. I told them that the Coon Rapids store refused to do the warranty adjustment, they said they will reach out to the owner and let them know of the bad person I had to deal with. I had to get an claim number from Firestone and they told me to give the number to another dealer, the dealer is to start the warranty on a factory defect. read more

Never had better service. From start to finish. The staff was prompt at greeting me, helped find the right tire, at a good price. They did not try and sell me more or something I didn't need as i have encountered many times in the past at other places. Service from pull in, replace a tire, and out the door was 20 minutes. The people at Firestone are great! I called them about 40 minutes before closing because I discovered I had a nail in my tire, and they got me in the same evening. They took care of it quickly and at a very reasonable rate for the new tire I had to get as well as the labor. They were very courteous and professional. read more

I'm not the type of guy to go online and complain about service but when employees at this firestone try to pull a fast one on me by charging $42 for something as little as TIRE VALVE CAPS, that's where I draw the line. If you're a young adult or a female, I suggest you question everything this place charges you because they will try to take as much money from you as possible. Funny thing about this too is that not only did I not ask for these tire caps, THEY DIDN'T EVEN PUT THEM ON MY CAR AND THEY STILL TRIED TO CHARGE ME AN EXTRA $42. Brought our jeep in for repair. It wouldn't start so we jumped started it & brought it in to Firestone. They called us with a 700.00 estimate for a battery, a starter & possibly the alternator which wasn't included in estimate. We said no thanks. They also said they couldn't get the car jump started & they would have to push it out. We came & jumped it immediately. They don't know what they r doing & just keep on adding repair charges.
