4 stars, why? Great spot to get your vehicle checked out. I was very surprised at the amount of services offered. Pros Convenience: Firestone offers a app to schedule your appointment and sends reminders for maintenance upkeep. The record of anyone's vehicle is important and I love the fact you can access that record at anytime. Location: They're are located in prime real estate in the middle of Conroe, right off I-45. Once you're appointment is finished you can easily get on the highway and get to where you need to go. Transparency: I'm always cautious when it comes to bringing in my vehicle anywhere. I assume they're trying to up charge me on everything they can. At this place they laid out a nice list of items they found (most optional like a wiper blade replacement). They walked me through the cost and time it would take. There was no pressure to get anything done that I didn't want to get done. Service: Customer service was excellent! The quoted time to get my vehicle done was one hour and half and that's exactly what it took. I would recommended getting the earliest time slot available for any services needed to be rendered. This location gets packed very QUICKLY!! Lobby: I work from home and I was pleased to see they have a seating area that offers free WiFi, plenty plug outlets and coffee :). Cons Price: DO NOT come in here thinking you can talk down the price in anyway. The prices are SET, unless you happen to have a coupon of some sort. Labor is costly and they charge you what their system believe it'll take the mechanic to fix it (regardless if they finish quicker). Of course all parts are up charged to meet their companies margins. I needed a tire rotation and alignment. I was pleased to know they offer lifetime alignment ($180) and I can come in as many times as I want for the life of the vehicle. Worth every single penny! Horrible Service! Waited an hour and a half before they pulled my car into the port. Even though I had an appointment. Called customer service desk and they said the car was finished. When I spoke the actual mechanic, he was just getting ready to begin working on my car. Why lie? Not to mention, this is the second alignment I have requested from them. They did not correctly align my car the first time (exactly a week ago). This is the worst service I've had to endure when it comes to my car. Please do better. read more

My check engine light came on, so I took it in for a diagnostic. They charged me $10 through the door just to check over everything and additionally roughly $140 for the diagnostic test. They told me that the diagnostic test would be half off if I decided to get any necessary repairs completed at that shop. They later called me and told me that they could not determine what my check engine light was on for and that they had checked everything including the battery (that should've been checked with the $10 fee, since the paperwork for this fee confirmed that they had checked the battery and it was fine). I went online to a Help group for my model car, who all told me to call them back and have them check the battery bc several had previous issues as I had described to them. When I called back, they seemed completely uninterested and basically told me to come and get my car. I insisted that they checked the battery but two hours later they had not called me back so I called them back shortly before going to pick up my car. They told me that they had checked the battery and it showed that my battery was good. When I got there, they attempted to charge me the full amount, but they did go ahead on to takeoff the diagnostic fee because they knew that they were referring me back to Cadillac. I realized that they really wanted to wash their hands of me so I left with my car, paid the $10 fee, and went to AutoZone to have my battery tested. Imagine my surprise when it said that my battery was nearly completely dead and that I needed a replacement immediately. I called them back to ask how they had missed this and they lied about having checked my battery (clearly). Needless to say, I will not be returning to this location as they sent me down the road with a bad battery and took my $10 to lie. It's not as much about the fee as much as it is about my safety as a customer that was completely disregarded. read more

Store number #907034 My wife went into Firestone store in conroe on 105 Friday 9/20/24 about 8:30am. Her left rear tire was very low on air and she believed there was a leak. Store employee Shannon helped her. He asked for a number she provided mine. He then asked is this for a 2019 Tundra? She replied no it was for her 4runner. She explained the problem and he informed her they would look at it. After an hour or more of waiting I received an email of an invoice for $20 for a tire patch repair. I called my wife and asked why I was getting an invoice for a repair when I purchased the tires there and had a warranty. She had no idea so she went back to Shannon to ask the question. She asked Shannon why she was being charged and if he had found her in the system. He replied he did not and had to add her. So of course she tells him shes in the system perhaps under a different phone number. To which Shannon replies " Well why didn't you tell me before". He was rude from the beginning and continues to be when he then complains that he will need to change the current ticket to a air check and its going to take him time. After roughly another 30 minutes she gets her vehicle back and I get an email with a new ticket showing a air check invoice of $0. She leaves comes home and is upset with the attitude and lack of service but figures it's a waste of time to take it further. On Sunday morning at 8:30am when I go to load my entire family of 6 into our 4runner to attend church I discover the tire is flat with less than 18lbs of pressure in tire as observed by both my pressure gauge and emergency air pump. So here I am dressed for church, wife and kids in the 4runner and a flat tire thanks to incompetent rude firestone employees. I put air in the tire with the emergency pump I have then proceed to church. After church my wife takes the car to the firestone in the woodlands. She explains to the employee there who was very helpful the entire situation. After another 2HR wait the gentleman that was helping her informs her there was NO PATCH in the tire and the other location only put air in the tire. She told them that cant be right because they sent my husband an invoice for a patch. He asked the tech to check again and the tech responded he was positive there was no patch. Woodlands firestone removed a large piece of metal from the tire but no one could tell what it was. So now after multiple trips and total accumulative time of roughly 4hrs the tire was properly fixed. I reached out to store # 907034 to speak with the manager. unsurprisingly the store manager was not in. Vanessa asked if I wanted the information to the DM and provided it. However now it's Monday morning Ive tried the number provided and it doesn't work. Further stellar customer service from Firestone. I want to know why I was sent an invoice for a patch repair. Then a second invoice after she told Shanon we bought the tires and had a warranty. Only to find out nothing was done at all except waste several hours of my time and put my family at risk. Sent Emails to the DM this morning and called the number I was given with no response. Go to discount tire better prices, better service. These guys are terrible. read more

Today November 22,2024, I had an appointment to rotate and balance my tires. I bought them in June 2024 and have just under 4k miles and it was time for an oil change. An hour after my appointment time I was walking back up and a service technician was just walking out to get my truck. I canceled the job, got my keys and done the other errands I had. My husband, mother in law and I were at goodwill and when it was time to leave our car wouldn't start. We called Firestone which is in the same parking lot to ask if we could borrow some jumper cables and James said no problem we have a jump box and will have someone drive over to you and jump you! They had someone come over to help and by then we had somehow lost the car keys ‍. Jeremy waited outside in the Texas heat for us to find the keys which we eventually did and then jumped us! No complaints, no money exchanged just some bad a** guys at Firestone helping out a family in need. Thank you so much, we would have been in the heat another couple of hours waiting for triple AAA. Really poor experience at this location today. Went in to get my tire patched, as it had a nail in it. One of the technicians was going to patch it, but then an elderly caucasian guy who worked there (I'm assuming he was the manager) came out and said "he'll probably need to have a new tire." Mind you, the elderly man did NOT even look at the tire, or the location of the nail. When I pressed him on my preference to patch it instead, he raised his voice to the point of yelling and said they would not be patching it; telling me that the ultimatum was to buy a new tire or leave. So I left. It was a shoddy attempt on his part to try and upsell a new tire, when it wasn't necessary. I have since gotten the tire patched at another repair shop, and have reached out to Firestone corporate regarding this man's lack of professionalism and quick temper. read more

I have used this Firestone since moving to area 4 years ago. Very good and reliable. Tires, oil changes, alignment etc.

We were traveling, and had a blowout. The only tire we could get was used, so I left my family at a hotel to go to Firestone at 672 I-45 in Conroe to replace it. I was quoted a two hour wait, so I got an Uber to take me back to the hotel. We got an extended check out time with the hotel. I paid another Uber to take me from the hotel back to Firestone a little over my promised two hour wait. When I got to FS, my car was still in the same place, not having been serviced. There were all new customers in the waiting area--who had obviously been taken ahead of me. I hoped for a "we'll get it in immediately" since it should have been ready, but got nothing of the sort. I picked my car up with the used tire still on, and went to nearby NTB and got a new tire without incident. Huge hassle on the part of Firestone. We come to Conroe frequently for business, and I will tell people everywhere I go there about my Firestone experience--and they will tell others, and they will tell.... read more
