I Scheduled a 12pm appointment. By 3pm my car still sitting in the lot untouched or moved, and I only came for an oil change , I asked for additional work but changed my mind and I'm glad I did or I might've never got my car back. I asked for my keys came back and still the 11am appointment in front of me was not touched for an oil change either. They book 4 people at once for an oil change for one time slot which is inane for 1 mechanic to do. I left and went and got the same synthetic oil change at valvoline and was done in 10 minutes . a mechanic called out sick, and nobody informed me until I asked for my keys back to leave . I honestly had a great experience. I ended up hitting a pothole pretty hard and put a hole in my tire. I called firestone around 10 and they ordered the tire I needed, got me in at 3p and I was out of there by 4. Regardless of previous posts I found everyone to be delightful. I generally don't even come to these chain places because of the bs with uncharges that tend to happen, but everything was straight forward and done very nicely. I am a fan of Firestone Complete because they stand behind their work, and you can find a store in most cities. The store on Rolling Road in Catonsville, Maryland, never lets me down. I make my appointment online, bring my car in, and it's usually done by the quoted time. I found the gentlemen working there knowledgeable, professional, and courteous. I live closer to another Firestone Complete, but I drive the extra couple of miles because of the consistency in service. Note: there is a Pho noodle shop a couple of doors down if you are hungry, as well as a Starbucks and a couple of other places to eat within walking distance. Went in to have the charge on my battery checked. Instead, they sold me an alternator (parts + cash). Went to another business...battery was dead, and alternator would have fine. Told them about a noise my car was making - they sold me struts and sway bar links, when what was REALLY needed was an entire steering rack. Or so they said. Down $4000. $3700 there (or more,) dnd the $250 for a new battery elsewhere. They also have the longest wait times. I had a 1pm appointment, and they didn't get to my car until 3:45pm...only to tell me about another $4000 worth of work. I should have never walked in the door. I've gone to this location since possibly 2017. I was referred to it by a gf of mine. I've gotten brakes done, new tires, alignments, etc. You name it, I've gotten it done there. I've seen it go through quite a few store managers. The previous store manager was so customer focused that he encouraged me to get the firestone credit card to take advantage of the benefits and discounts. But it only takes one time to have a bad experience. I called thursday to schedule an appointment for today and spoke with Alexsandra. Today I get there and was told an appointment was not scheduled despite speaking to a "live" person and receiving an email of the appointment. I was told they've been having problems with their phones and if I didn't get a 2nd email confirming the appointment than it wasn't scheduled. Mind you I've called and scheduled the exact same way several times in the past and didn't have any problems before. I walked out of the store knowing that I'll take my business elsewhere. Terrible Terrible customer service. I scheduled a service appointment for 2 PM the next day and received a confirmation Email. Later that evening I received an email canceling my appointment and told to call the store. Called the store the next morning and was told to 2 PM was taken and I should bring it in now. I brought in my car, they wrote up the service but never did anything, so after 2hrs I asked for my keys and left. They never once said we will get to your car next, we are experiencing delays, the sun was in our eyes, just crickets! Anybody know a good place for tires and oil changes? read more

Women please beware. I had previously carried my car in for service and they quoted me a price for a repair. I had my daughter drop off my car and she didn't leave my info as contact info and gave her info. They contacted her and gave her a lengthy list of work that wasn't reported on the previous quote from a few months before. When i called them to question the quote they asked why didnt i leave my info and told him it shouldn't have mattered and that it should have been the same price and issues reported before ( I dont drive the car at all much). I felt they were taking advantaged of her and I asked to speak with the service manager. They placed a female on the phone and she assured me all the new work was justified. Based on that the staff looked entirely new( She offered that they fired everyone that was previously there and worked on my car) and that I didn't trust the response I carried my car to nearby Parkway Auto and they looked at the car and literally quoted the same original repairs that firestone quoted awhile back (over $2000 difference). I have all the quotes to prove how firestone added unneeded work. Shame on firestone for taking advantage of customers. I will never go there again read more

Scheduled an appointment for new tires. Had to call and change date. Stated I had no original appointment. Made another appointment and showed up for tire installation. Went to lunch for an hour and returned. Stood at counter for ten minutes while one person was on a call and another looked on. Car went untouched. When I asked them what happened, they said it takes 2.5 to 3 hours for four new tires, huh? read more

Beware of Firestone in Catonsville, MD, 1100 N.Rolling Road. My experience have been nothing, but absolute horrible!! I had my car maintenance there on November 16, 2018 and found out that my alternator needed to be replaced. Two alternators later and after my car stopped on me twice my car had to be towed at another Firestone Center. All of this inconvenience because a connector on my alternator needs to be repaired. Now I am not one to complain, but this experience is ridiculous even with them renting me car rentals. Two weeks without my car and two car rentals later the 2nd Firestone finally order the connector to replaced the bad one. I have never witness so much unprofessional service in my life. DavidandBeverly O's review really hits the nail on the head. We took the car over to Firestone because the brakes were grinding and they asked for $750 JUST for the rotors. We said no, and they immediately said they'll make it half price. It turns out that they'll quote you at 4x the actual price as a tactic, because we paid half price since we thought it was a deal. Turns out that a friend of ours told us he had the same thing done at half of the half we paid! Firestone snookered us into thinking we're paying a small price. Nope. WORST PART is that a month later, the brakes started grinding again. Took the car back in because the mechanic told us they have a limited lifetime warranty. They then said that the brake pads were the problem WHICH THEY DID NOT MENTION AT THE TIME OF THE ROTOR CHANGE. Now I'm beginning to think that the rotors did not need to be fixed at all, it was just the more expensive product. TERRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE. The mechanic turned everything into a he said she said argument saying that he told us to change the brake pads a month ago. Not true. Please take your business elsewhere. I only came here a fourth time because after the thieves Goodyear said they stripped my oil cap and they didn't feel comfortable performing an oil change without a replacement. After having the truck from 10am till 730pm for tires and an alignment they did not balance the tires or perform the alignment. They sent me home with the truck but I immediately noticed the truck wobbling. Service manager told me they ran out of wheel weights that is why the wheels weren't balanced and it was suppose to come back for an alignment. The tech when I picked it up did not tell me that, he told me the truck was done they charged me for the alignment as if they did it. Took the truck back the next day they fixed the alignment but they still didn't balance the tires. My rims are also covered in greasy hand prints as well as the outside of my drivers side door and the inside of my leather door panel. The customer service has been horrible the service manager didn't seem to care that the truck was there all day and the work was not done properly and when I returned the next day she did nothing to get the truck done and back to me as soon as possible like you would assume they would when they are fixing there mistake. I have been here twice. The first time I had brakes and spark plugs replaced, everything went well. The second time, yesterday, I had an issue that seemed to be getting progressively worse. Basically, it ended up there was a simple fix. However, the customer service, level of concern for the customer and professionalism from the representative, Darian, was outstanding. I don't often see people go out of their way to help someone like that, especially when there was no sale to be made at the time. This Firestone is my go to place when ever I need an oil change. The reps have always been helpful. I always make sure to show them the coupons on their website for the oil change promotion so I never pay full price. The only negative is how long it takes for them to service my car. You can expect to wait at least an hour and they are a bit pricey. There also very knowledgeable and professional so I guess that does come with a price. read more

I was very pleased with the customer service I received from the moment I walked in the door. I originally came in to get an oil change and have the tires rotated. Keith kept me updated the entire time. Since returning home after driving cross country, the exhaust was really loud and I asked them tot ale a look at it. When they replaced the muffler, they informed me that I would need to replace the exhaust. Keith took me to take a look at the car so that I could see what needed to be done and also gave me the cabin air filter and air filter free as well as a discount on my oil change. I highly recommend this location, especially since I had a terrible experience at VA Tire and Auto. read more

How about scamming people by saying that they need replacement over repair when the shop couldnt even find what needed to be repaired? Outrageous! I would recommend staying away from this business. The following week, I went to a local tire company that I trust. According to Firestone, they patched one tire but couldnt patch the other bc the tread was so low. Guess what? The reputable local place found no nails, leaks, or patches in that tire!!! As an aside, they said they were getting close to the wear bars, but that wouldnt have preventing patching and doesnt need replacing for a while longer. Terrible attitude! I bought my tires here and had my rotations done always at firestone. However, today, when we found my tires have design defect from the factory and need replacement, they told me they could not find the record showing I bought them from firestone. So many times of rotation for free and never asked me for the proof of purchase but asked this time when a major warranty is supposed to be honored! Honest, Offering Great Customer Service. We took our car here when it started acting up en route to our vacation, mostly because they were able to see us right away. The manager on duty made a point of getting us in and diagnosed our issue quickly, then set to work on it. After repairing our vehicle, it turned out that one part of their repair needed to be replaced with a factory part that was unavailable. We took our car to the Firestone Center on Rolling Road for new brakes as they had started squeeking when we were at lunch that same day. We were told by the Firestone Serviceman that we needed new brake pads and rotors, front and back. The total cost was almost $750.00. When we asked if we could get just the pads, they told us we could not. We said thanks, but no thanks! We took the car to another repairman who told us we only needed the brake pads and that the rotors still had several thousand miles left before they would need to be replaced. We are new to the Catonsville area and you can bet we WON'T be going back to Firestone! read more

Very friendly staff. I had a flat tire at 6pm on the day before Christmas. I went to several tire stores for a new tire but was declined because it was late and everyone wanted to go home as soon as possible.
