I am so thankful for the skilled and efficient staff at this Firestone in Budd Lake, NJ! When our minivan broke down with 400 miles still left in our drive, I thought we would be stranded, especially since it was a Sunday. Two other places could not help us. Then luckily we had it towed to this Firestone. Willie and Sarah were the 2 excellent employees who helped us, diagnosing the problem, ordering the parts, and fixing our car so we could get back on the road and back home. 3 years ago, I used to recommend Firestone in Budd Lake to EVERYONE. Now, I won't be coming back. I generally do my oil changes & routine maintenance at the dealership, as I get free oil changes. But when something gets funky or goes wrong, I liked the convenience of bringing my SUV to Firestone. This last experience was anything but convenient. My husband decided he wanted to get his air conditioning fixed. He brought it in the first time & they recharged it & added dye to check for a leak. The AC died 2 days later. He wanted to bring the car back in & I realized that mine was acting up a bit too so we decided to get them both looked at. Because we have a 5 month old & leaving the house is more complicated, the easiest way was to make appointments on consecutive days. We called up, made our appointments & dropped off my husbands car on a Friday for a Saturday appointment & mine would be Sunday. We get a call at 7am on Saturday from the front office stating that they can't look at the air conditioner because their AC guy is off this weekend. Okay, but you made at least 2 appointments this weekend for air conditioning repair? Gas is $5 a gallon & now we have to drive back (again, with a baby) to pick up the car. The next available appointment is in a week (with allegedly the AC guy this time). Again, we drop my husbands car off. They call the next day & state the issue but also advise that they can't do it. Too complicated? Unqualified? Are the words "Complete Auto Care" not in your company name? Right... So my husband swaps his car for my car. The next day, we get a call stating that I need a recharge but that's it. Awesome! Except when I get there, one set of fans is still blowing out warmer air & the airflow still doesn't seem as powerful as it should be, as I originally questioned. So what was actually fixed? This, I do not know. To make matters worse, we were offered at the time of the mix up a discount on services. Which was not originally honored upon pick up. Yes, we did get the discount but I don't think it's something we should have had to fight for. The office is completely unorganized & unprofessional. This isn't the first issue I've had with this location, but it will be my last. Save yourself (& your wallet) the headache as customer service has gone down & prices have gone up. read more

First of all I almost never write a review, I never remember to but this time, I just had to write it. These guys are amazing, I've been going to Firestone for 7 years now and I have no regrets. The thing that sets them apart from a lot of mechanics is that they file everything on their computers. The file is accessible to all of their shops across the state. WHY IS THAT IMPORTANT?? because it stores the warranty of every part you purchase. For example: I had to go into for new tires, brakes, rotors, calipers and some other things. BUT the Brakes and calipers were under warranty still. That was a $500 SAVINGS!!! read more

over priced brake job .....they charged me 775 just to do my drum brakes I could have gotten the parts cheaper but it would have taken additional time so I defaulted to coming here thinking I could get it to a somewhat reasonable price the labor was what made it really expensive is what I'm guessing but still if you can get parts for 100-150 the labor is insane not to mention when I got my car back they scuffed it up read more

Brought my 2020 C8 Corvette there to change the two back tires. Tech was super diligent and careful and followed all the recommended lifting guidelines for the car. Couldn't have asked for better service. Will definitely take my vehicles there for tire service. Staff was super friendly too. read more

Went to rotate my tires after Firestone installed. Snapped my impact socket, got out lug wrench nothing. I literally hat to cut off two ends of t lug wrench and put on pipe extensions to break lug nuts off. This is supposed to be a tire specialist that's what is really scary read more

07/09/2022 I normally make appointments for my car at this Firestone and have never had a problem with the service I receive. Today, was different. I drove into Firestone at approximately 2:30pm on Saturday because my tire was losing pressure due to a flat. The tire pressure was at 6lbs when I arrived. I was preparing myself for the $200.00 cost of a new tire even though I had just recently replaced all 4 tires at Firestone. To my surprise the cost was a little over $27.00 dollars. The manager checked the computer and my tire was still under warranty! I knew my rim was bent from a pothole but I couldn't locate a fair priced rim. The manager called around and located me a rim in 10 minutes. The rim is arriving in a day or so and be will mounted and ready for my car when I return. The cost for both is less than the quote I received for the rim I located. The tech put on my spare so I could drive until the tire and rim were ready, Couldn't ask for faster or more attention to detail with my car. Would highly recommend Firestone in Budd Lake. read more

I don't remember the managers name but he was a nice guy. Honored a coupon promo they had running that I wasn't even aware of and saved me some $$. Needed new breaks and rotors on my front tires and they had my car done same day. I walked in there clearly clueless and the guy behind the desk took the time to explain everything to me and made sure to contact me and confirm the price and work to be done before they did anything. Im sure if I shopped around I may have been able to find a cheaper deal but the experience at this firestone made the cost worth it for me. Went in for a simple tire patch which I knew was doable however they told me it was irreparable. They tried to upsell the Firestone credit card right after, and they were incredibly rude. Ended up with a $180 tire replacement without any quote before billing. Go to literally anywhere else for tire service as this shop is crooked as hell. read more

Buyer beware! They push the Firestone credit card and after you get it they charge it before you pick up and refuse to take cash as payment. This is after filling out a drop off form stating I WOULD NOT BE USING THE FIRESTONE CARD FOR PURCHASE OF REPAIRS. I will no longer use or recommend to anyone!! read more

I went to this firestone to get my rear wheel plugged on a sunday being that my real mechanic was closed that day,one of the so called technicians said he will a put a plug in the tire,he comes back and tells me that the spot where the nail is at it not a good idea for a plug,he was trying to tell me that the nail was on the sidewall of the tire,i clearly stated to him it is not on the sidewall it is on top of the tire,so i asked the manager how will it cost me..BOOM,she says 22dollars,almost flipped my wig,i know for a fact it only costs about 5 dollars to plug a tire,so i told the manager i will hold off till the next day and i will go to my mechanic,,bottom line,i will never go there for anything again, read more
