I ordered tires from tirerack.com and there were a number of local shops that came up as authorized installers. I went to a handful explaining my situation and asking for quotes. This place was the cheapest and most welcoming. After they were delivered I was able to see them and get my original quote reviewed by Chi who I think is the manager or at least acts like one with his service. He adjusted the quote to the proper cheaper pricing due to my wheels already being balanced. He gave me all fo my extra parts and explained everything at pickup while another customer was in the lobby praising him as well. BEWARE OF THESE THIEVES! I'm not big on writing negative reviews, so when I do, I really want to help people avoid being stolen from by a company like this. And when the person being stolen from is your young daughter, now it's personal. This Firestone tried to take advantage of my daughter who had a tire blow out a few hours away from home. I asked her to put a cheap replacement tire on the rim as a temporary fix so she could get home, until I got a matching replacement tire (AWD needs 4 matching tires). This should have been an easy and inexpensive request. Many hours later waiting in the store, a $1,283 quote came back (attached to this review)... She also had a known issue with her battery not keeping a charge. Firestone tried to get her for a new alternator ($555 + $200 labor) plus they wanted to sell their battery...Another $272 with a $52 core and install charge)...ALL of this was absolutely unnecessary. The alternator is absolutely fine and we already had plans to replace the battery FREE at Walmart under warranty (less than a year old with 3 year warranty). Instead of trying to help a young girl in a tough situation with a tire, this Firestone tried to play on emotions and used scare tactics telling her she would be stranded to sell her unnecessary service. Again the alternator was fine, and she was equipped with jumper cables, a jumpstart battery pack, and AAA knowing the battery was bad. NO chance of her being stranded. The car was not going to die on the road. An honest tech would have seen the battery was under warranty and told her to take the car 5 minutes down the street to Walmart and get it replaced free. They also tried to get her for a 4 wheel alignment ($96) and brake fluid change ($82). Also unnecessary. Now for the cheap tire she asked to have installed as a temporary fix (only needed it to get her 50 miles home) they charged her $155 for the tire, plus $24 for roadside protection, $13 for balance. Absolutely no need for roadside protection on a temporary tire. Stay away from this Firestone. They are dishonest predators. read more

If you don't want to read this long review, that's okay. Just believe me when I say: "SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME!!!!! AND GO ELSEWHERE, THE YELP REVIEWS ARE ACCURATE". I got my car serviced here about 6-8 months ago. I decided at the time to not leave a review because I figured I was maybe just overreacting. Needless to say, I wasn't. I had to get all my breaks and rotors replaced. The place I usually go to costs $1000+ (which is fine), but at that time I really couldn't shell out all that money. I called around to find places that offer doable prices and came across Firestone. Gave them a call to set up an appointment and everything was running smoothly. I show up right on time and am told that it would take about 4 hours. Said okay, and decided to head home. They said they'd call when it's ready. I believe I brought my car in at around 7 or 8 in the morning. I didn't get my car back until 430 in the evening. I also had to be at work at 430 in the evening. I guess while servicing my car, they needed a part that wasn't working. They said my compressor wasn't going back on and I had to pay for a new one. I said whatever because essentially I was being told that my car couldn't be put back together without it. By the way I had to call and ask why my car was taking so long because no one contacting me. When I called they said "someone was supposed to call you a while ago". When I got my car my hand break was extremely loose (I could lift it with my pinky) and I called them back to see when I could come in to fix it. There were no issues and they fixed it without a problem (this is the reason I didn't leave a bad review... because they were kind and didn't waste my time that time). But now, today, my breaks are squeaking nonstop. They've been squeaking since I left there but I figured they were just new and that was something that would fade. It was also around spring and always wet or dewy out so I figured it was that as well. All summer it's been squeezing and today I just realized how upset I am that ITS STILL SQUEAKING. While they were changing tires they broke my air pressure sensor and told me that it was already broken!!! How is it possble that it was already broken, if this is a new car, nobody didnt change the tires before and I didnt have sensor light on before i went there? Yesterday i was in Hyundai service center , where i was told that who was changing the tires broke it. Now I have to pay 100 $ for a new sensor!!! read more

I paid for an alignment, 2 weeks later after a noisy ride continued I took my car to a competitor. Turned out my u joints and ball joints were blown. Which would make an alignment impossible just 2 weeks earlier. The manager was fairly reasonable and I got a refund for my fake alignment. Although I was reimbursed, being handed my keys back as if my car was safe and the work I paid for was done is a dangerous concept. I would not trust them ever again to look after my car, and would advise you to look elsewhere. read more

I had my car towed here in the morning for a issues with my starter. When I talked to them I also asked them to check my Check engine light because it was on and have it taken care of while it was there. They told me that they don't do that there....WHAT ?????....anyway They called me that afternoon and told me that the car was ready and they put in a refurbished starter and that the car was all set. The very next morning trying to get to work the car would not start once again so I had it towed back to Firestone. They said the starter was under warranty and they would replace it. They called me back a few hours later and told me that the second starter that they put in had shorted out and said that there is something going on with car that keeps shorting out the starter. I asked them to find the issue but he told me that they don't do that kind of "electrical" work and there is nothing they can do. I had to have it towed (again) to another garage who can do the work. Come to find out all it was is a new battery cable to the starter. Now I am stuck with a $400 bill from them when there was nothing wrong with my original starter. Update to follow. read more

I used to go here for oil changes regularly. The staff changed and so did the quality of the work. They told me I needed my front breaks changed, I got a second opinion, ends up i needed my rear breaks changed. They tried to charge me for a few other non-sense things, i.e- fuel system cleaner, air filter change. Those did not need changing. Try to go elsewhere for a tune up. read more

Shopped for all season tires for like 2 months. Went to BS places like Town Fair Tire, NTB and MANY other local tire shops. I got ridiculous prices for some no brand name tires that I never heard of: like Nexens or some cheap ole Falkens for the same price I was able to get some great tires and all my braking pads replaced over at Firestone. Literally these other stores were giving me tire no brand name tires that I had to go Google to find out about , for the same price as I got some great tires for. I had excellent service from the manager, Joe. He provided me with excellent service , I mean I got the works for the same price I was about to get some cheap ole tires for. Like I said I even got my brakes done. I would definitely recommend this store at least, if not all Firestones. read more

The other day was my first visit ever to any Firestone Complete Auto Care service center. I will definitely be returning to this store for any future maintenance or repair necessary. The service was a 10/10. I stopped in Saturday morning, without an appointment, and spoke with Matt, the store manager. Matt was attentive, knowledgable and professional. After determining a new rear speed sensor was needed, Matt was able to find the part for my '07 VW and have it delivered to the store. They got the part installed and did a complete check of my vehicle, all within a very reasonable time, so I could get out and on the road again. Would definitely recommend this shop to family, friends, or anyone looking for quality service of their vehicle. Definitely NEVER EVER going to bring my car here. Just making a call requesting some pricing information from them was like pulling teeth. I already knew what I needed to have done to my car and I was told I would get a call back in 5 minutes....waited over half an hour and called back and was transferred to the "manager" Nate, that told me I had to bring my car in order to tell me what was wrong with it. I wasn't asking them to tell me what was wrong with it, I told them specifically what needed to be done. They treated me like I had no idea what I was talking about when they obviously were the ones that couldn't even give me an answer to my very specific questions. I would never bring my car here, because if they can't answer specific questions over the phone then I can just imagine the horrible quality of work they would do on my car. I took my vehicle here to diagnose a problem with my a/c. After about 3 hours, they said I needed a new compressor, and did not charge me for the time (fixed right guarantee). I returned a couple of days later to have them replace the compressor, which they did. While working on this, they broke my heater control module (which had been working before I brought it in). They would not admit to breaking this, and only agreed to do the work for half price (again, I remind you, this was working before the work they did). So I was forced to pay another $150 over and above the $1000 for the compressor. Once I got my car back from this, I found that they neglected to reconnect a number of wire harnesses under my dash, which I decided to fix myself. They are less than accommodating, and I question the real knowledge of their master mechanics.I have to recommend you go elsewhere. read more

I went to firestone in brockton because my Acura was vibrating on the highway at high speeds, after taking it to two different shops that couldn't find the issue i took it to to these people at firestone in brockton and not only did they found the issue with my car but the service was great, I went in not trusting the place from the beginning i must admit because i was skeptical due to my previous experience in other mechanic shops, however these people are professionals, the store manager is awesome provided me with exceptional customer service and everybody else in the building when walking by me they said hello with smile on their faces, i truly feel this is a trustworthy place to get your vehicle serviced at and know its going to get fixed right and you are not going to get ripped off.
