Ok...so I hate writing bad reviews. This location used to take good / great care of me. There used to be a tech there that was spot on and knew his stiff...he is no longer there (makes sense, he's too good for that shop). I should note, I'm a mechanic, and the line of BS I was given by Tom (manager? If so, shouldn't be) and his tech was short of just full on lies. I fear for those that don't know cars. They didn't listen, they were rude, they provided misinformation, and what they couldn't do...another Firestone did in spades. Horribly rude manger!!! Made formal complaint with corporate waiting on conversation with the DM. Asking someone do they want a tire or not is rude. Complaining that your short staffed and have to work in the back is not your customers issue. Rechecking the innovatory your employee just did shows your lack of faith in their ability to do their job. Stating that they don't know anything and don't have your system in the back and don't know what you need is beyond alarming. Behaving in a nonprofessional manner and speaking to a customer rudely is not how any business wants to be represented.As consumers we understand things take time but waiting over six hours or possibly days to have one tire that is not even a year old replaced is ridiculous. It's how you speak to people that matters and also what can lead to repeat business or a consumer going to a competitor. This is a corporate store that you claim as your own but you treat customers negatively and speak as if consequences are nonexistent. Came in last night at 6pm...there was one car in the shop and nobody doing work. They close at 7pm and the guy at the front desk said he couldn't patch my tire because he didn't have time. Was told to come in the morning. Came in at 730am to get the tire patched and he said he would need my car all day. Again, there was only two cars in the shop. Only saw one car being worked on and there were 3 people there. Went to big O tire and they got me in and out. I won't be doing business with Firestone anymore. read more

Literally ruined my car. I went in for 4 new tires when I picked the car up it is louder than ever, took it back and now I need 2 new bearings well 4 would be better they say at $500 each. They never mentioned any issues with the bearings before or during the new tires being installed. Also my brakes were awful after they installed the tires and when I took it back I had a rotor that needing grinding down, again never said a word when they were checking the brakes and brake pads the day before. Ridiculous. Now my car is so loud it's awful to drive and there is nothing I can do about it but go someplace else. Infuriating. read more

Absolutely, stay far away from this business at all costs! My wife took her car in there and they ran up over $10k in charges on a car worth less than $1000 over about 1 year of what should've been inexpensive services. My wife did not tell me and took out a credit card from Firestone to pay for it. I was furious when I found out this business had taken advantage of my wife by not explaining that putting $7k into a worthless car on the initial visit was insane. My wife kept going back there as she had the Firestone credit card and assumed that would be the best option. I went in to complain and spoke to Tom, I believe, worst Management of a business I have ever experienced. They did not stand behind any of the work they provided! I contacted Corporate over the course of about 6 months and got $350 back on a part they supposedly manufactured that failed on the car. The car was totaled out days later so $9650 paid for a car that doesn't run on the Firestone Credit Card. Firestone was still making $$$ off us on shoddy repairs due to the Firestone credit card they offered my wife after she was going to put it on her Amex Card. Fast forward a year later and my wife has two coworkers with the exact same issues and the only reason they moved forwarded was because Firestone offered to provide credit cards to pay for the work over time as they both are on tight budgets working for UPS. This is a scam of a business model: quote ridiculous prices for repairs, offer a credit card with a ridiculous interest rate and lock in the consumer. We have taken our vehicles in to this place on a few occasions. Oil change, wheel alignments, brake problems, and a few other things. A few weeks after one of the oil changes we had done there, we discovered they had shorted us at least one quart of oil! Are the mechanics losing count after a couple of quarts? Each time, we have gotten "bad news" on additional mechanical issues needing to be fixed/replaced. They did this twice to us, and my husband was suspicious. Each time he got a second opinion and each time the competition found nothing related to Firestone's claim for needing extra work. Taking our vehicles elsewhere has saved us time, money and hassle. I agree with another reviewer about the manager -- seems like a nice guy with a lot of head knowledge and suave customer service skills -- but you can't run a business on these things alone - they just aren't enough to make and keep repeat customers anyway. I suspect this place operates on mostly new customers. Note to Firestone: you need to do better and right by your customers. Give them what they paid for and then some. Keep prices more than reasonable and tuck in some freebies. Admit it when your mechanics make an error and then offer fair recompense. Tell your customers when you scratch the paint. They'll respect the honesty! These are just a few of the things that we would appreciate. I'm afraid for us, however, it is too late. We will not be going back. read more

I had a set appointment to have an exhaust gasket/manifold repaired after Firestone had inspected the vehicle 1 week earlier to identify the issue. I dropped the vehicle off for repair as soon as their doors opened. I heard nothing from them until the store manager called me 7 hours later to tell me he doesn't even have the parts to fix the vehicle that day. Even though they had a full week to procure the parts to be ready for my appointment. Not only did I take a full day off of work for the repair, the store manager refused to accommodate a new appointment on a Saturday so that I would not have to miss any more time from work. This all could have been morally fixed had the guy tried to squeeze me in on a non-work day so that I didn't have to take another day off of work for their mistake. I'll never go back to another Firestone. Luckily I have plenty of vehicle maintenance shops near me to help me out. read more

I've used services here before and was pleased. This last time the service was good too but I felt like the prices were unreasonably priced. They did try and work with me to see where I could save money but since it was a lot of money I really wanted a second opinion. Once I got it I had to go with the second option instead of Firestone. I had made an appointment but they didn't really see my car until later. I understand that sometimes they fall behind but I was waiting for quite some time. So by the time they told me what it needed AND I gathered my research it was too late for them to help me that day... which again, ended up being better since I got a second opinion. They do a pretty good job but i saved about 30% on the original quoted price. That's a lot of money when dealing with matters of the automobile. read more

Literally ran over a piece of rusted metal today just outside of this location that punctured the sidewall of my tire and thought how convenient to be at a Firestone when it happened.. NOT the case! I pulled in and got out of my car, keep in mind I'm 38 weeks pregnant.. got the most rude response from an employee outside, pulled my car around to the front door and went inside as instructed by the rude employee. I even told the second employee inside how rude the other guy was and his response was just.."yeah.." We went out to look at my tire and the second employee tells me they don't sell Michelin tires and I should go wherever I bought it from as you can hear the air hissing from my tire.. trust me when I say I HAPPILY took my business to Discount tire after being treated so rudely by the employees of this Firestone! This was my second bad experience at two completely different Firestone locations.. needless to say I will NOT make a third attempt to give them my business!! read more

But putting that aside they are always very friendly, Angela is very pleasant to work with, and I had a message on my car that my tire was low. Brought my wife's car in for an oil change and tire rotation. The next morning, I found a puddle of oil under the vehicle. Brought car back to shop for repair. Technician found the drain plug was leaking due to a cracked gasket. This was the first oil change since the car was purchased new from a dealership earlier this year. Original technician must have over torqued the drain plug and cracked the gasket. Screwing up a simple oil change makes me question the quality of personnel at this location and will make think twice about bringing my vehicle here again for service. read more

I first want to say whoever decided to hire a new customer service person needs a raise. The girl in there is so sweet helpful and patient I honestly don't know why they have a waiting area BECAUSE THEY ARE ANNOYED WHEN YOU WAIT. If you don't wait you want get your car back for hours . I work at Denver international airport and came from work to get my car serviced, with that being said I was waiting in the WAITING AREA for my car to be finished. The manager rudely asked me "are you just gonna wait here or something" I said "yea" he said "huh" again . Rudely . I said yes is that okay ? I'm confused as why that's a questions why that would matter where else do you think I'm going to wait if you have my car ? It really took my off guard that I was hoping my car wasn't even brought into the damn garage yet because I didnt even want to give them my money for their service ! After going online I see so many complaints about a rude manager I can't imagine everyone else being the common denominator. Honestly HR or whoever is claiming to be investigating these situations need to be fired as well. There was no reason for me to even be asked that and for him to be very disrespectful about it is even more concerning. If he doesn't like customers can't "fake it til he makes it" because clearly if everyone is complaining about a rude manager then he isn't faking shit for his company nor his job. This Auto Shop is decent AT BEST. In my experience dealing with them (4-5 visits), the best thing about them is their management. Patrick (their store manager I believe) seems like a great guy and is very well spoken. He explains things efficiently and effectively. I believe he is the only reason why people bring their cars to this Firestone branch. The issues I have with this place are the mechanics who actually work on your car. When I bring my car in for a general issue (lots of friction in the steering, leaking oil), they have no idea what they're doing. Management will make you feel confident, but when you get your car back after its been in the shop for over 10 days and you actually drive the car, you'll feel much different about what is going on behind the scenes. Not only that, my steering still leaks oil after almost a $2,000 repair to rebuild the rack and pinion steering and (supposedly) fix the leak. Additionally, I do not appreciate it when I get my car back and a day later notice a large (3" x 1/2") scratch on the front of my car just below the hood. It extends through the paint and is very noticeable. Did Firestone say anything to me about this damage they had done? - absolutely not. This isn't something I just didn't notice earlier. It is very apparent and is obvious (by its uniform shape) that a piece of their equipment had been the cause. Another story, beware of buying tires from them (I know...tires...what they're known for). Any reputable Auto Care shop will balance your tires after installing them. I paid over $800 for new tires, and then they told me that they cannot even balance them because they don't have the equipment to do so! I was amazed that a tire place cannot balance tires on a popular car like an Audi A4. Not only that, they told me this after I had purchased them. Pretty shady if you ask me. In my 4-5 visit history and around $4k spent there, I'm not happy with this Firestone and will not recommend it to anyone in our neighborhood (East Aurora [East Smokey Hill, Southlands Mall]). read more

Went to get a oil change there were no customers. Yet they wanted me to wait 90mins for a oil change. I think not.

I've had my vehicles over the years serviced for minor things (i.e., changing tires, alignment, oil/lube and wipers) at this Firestone mainly because it's close by. I recently went there to have a vehicle inspected for safety and overall mechanical soundness. Frankly, they missed a lot of things like a weak battery, sway bar, spark plugs with wires, and some leaks. I recommend only using this store for minor issues. read more

New problem with my car after visiting yesterday. There's a problem with my passenger door, if I hit a bump in the road it starts registering is open. It'll unlock all the other doors in the car. I noticed a gash in the tubing around the door that wasn't there yesterday morning before I dropped it off. So I took it back to Firestone to see what might have happened and they're just repeating that they wouldn't have a reason to open that door if we were only doing an oil change. They always let me know what else they think they should service soonxl, but apparently don't actually need to open anything to check. They won't even check anything they're saying it was probably like passenger wear-and-tear even though it wasn't there yesterday morning when I put a basket in my front seat. Even though I don't have passengers all that often and it's just me 95% of the time. Although the guy did admit that wear and tear usually only happens with much older cars than mine. I have been to this location a few times over the years and I really like them. I usually drive past 1 or 2 closer Firestones to come to this location because the service is usually much better and faster. I was of course driving to work when my TPMS went off on the weekend and right before another major holiday. I took my car to them on a Sunday morning (on my only day off), after the only other open auto shop near me refused to even look at my car until after 11 AM (3 hr wait time). This Firestone gave me a 30-60 min wait estimate but actually got my car into a bay in less than 20. I ended up having a nail in my tire and needed 4 new tires due to AWD. They had several tire choices in stock and I decided it would just be easier to get new tires then and there. They had them all on within 1 hour. I was there in all a total of 90 mins! I am so very pleased and appreciate their speediness! I bought Bridgestone All-season tires and so far they are handling very well on the snowy, slushy and wet roads. read more

Called 1 hr later to pick and was informed my car won't be ready till about 4:30-5. When I set my appointment for noon. Continue to tell because I didn't wait there in the lobby. I took in my car because of a leak. My car was leaking radiator fluid and I needed to get it fixed. I called the evening before to make sure I could get it in early and get it done. I dropped it off at 7:30, I was called and told that it was a crack in my radiator and they had all of the parts and it would be done. Not one mention of a timeline at all. I call back and find out that the car is just sitting there and they are waiting for parts to come and it will be done at 4 pm. This is all news to me at this point. Then I ask about the issue of having parts and ordering them, because from my conversation I thought the parts were there. Nope and I said if I would have know that I would have taken it to a place near my house. Then the guy said, "Well, you can take it if you want." At this point, having there since 7:30 and now it's 11:30 I just give up. Usually they are responsive and helpful and transparent...not this time.
