I went in for an oil change on 5/3/25, this location was extremely busy but the new manager Helene went above and beyond to make this happen for me as I told her I was headed out of town, even though it took a little longer than planned the staff kept me updated on what was going on and kept apologizing it was taking a little longer than normal, they even topped off my fluids and did a free brake inspection to make sure I was safe on my trip, definitely go in and check them out, they are extremely helpful and friendly, I love the new faces and management in this location! read more

DO NOT GO HERE SCAM Total scam. I came in with a bad starter and a 4-month-old battery. Instead of just addressing the starter, they charged me $45.00 for a mandatory battery test. When they 'couldn't get results' from the test, they claimed they couldn't even check the starter unless I paid $211.00 (plus tax and labor) for a new battery first. They are just padding the bill with unnecessary parts and tests. Avoid this place if you don't want to be overcharged." Waited 3 hours for an oil change and a tire rotation. After payment and 2 hours later they brought my car out, and I noticed that my tires weren't rotated, informed them that I had already paid for both but the tire rotation wasn't actually serviced, they then took my car back to rotate the tires. Took another hour for a tire rotation. Each of these services should take roughly 30 minutes max, no acceptable reason to be waiting 3 hours for an oil change and tire rotation when the lobby is also completely empty. No acceptable reason to have my vehicle returned to me with only a portion of the services I paid for to be actually be done. Would not recommend this place, definitely will try to pull one up on you. read more

I purchased four tires and paid for the warranty so the tire were replaced if you get a screw nail etc if it can't be plugged. Attempted to get the warranty covered when I got a screw in the tire and they said it is Floyd because I didn't go and get a regular rotation balance and alignment from them. The warranty is a scam. It's just a way for them to continue to charge you on a regular basis. Don't bother doing business with this company. read more

We've been customers for over 10 years and they chose to be completely rude over a $10 coupon. They basically said if you want a refund we could give it to you and you could go to another store. At one point, I was a very local customer to Firestone. This location in particular. Over time, the quality and service slipped to the point that I went elsewhere. I needed to buy a new car battery for my daughter's car. I always purchase interstate Batteries. For reasons that are not relevant to this Post, I had to go to Firestone. I had no choice. I called the location that I was previously loyal to. The woman that I spoke to last week said they would have to Special Order it as they don't keep the MT-151R in stock. I made an appointment for today, 07 September, at 8am. She even created a customer account with all my information, including my cell. When I arrived the man said he didn't think that had any Special Orders. He checked and they didn't. They never placed the order! I got up at 5:30am this morning to make sure I was on time. The man's attitude sucked. The way he told me "all I can do is tell you the truth" when I was clearly upset was completely insincere. He could have obviously cared less. He said " I can't snap my fingers and make it appear". He proceeded to snap his fingers to demonstrate. If there was a problem getting my battery, someone should have called me. No one ever contacted me to say not to come to my appointment. I ended up having to go to Autozone and purchase an inferior battery with less warranty (3 years) compared to that an Interstate battery (5 years) but they at least stock it. I would seriously advise people to NOT to give this Firestone their business. I will not go as far as saying all Firestones are this way. Go to another Firestone. If I could I would give zero stars. That's all they deserve. As long as Firestone exists, so will AutoZone to pick up its slack. I seek nothing from Firestone in writing this. I simply want them to be aware that they dropped the ball; and because of how he treated me and my situation. I will personally never set foot in another Firestone store. read more

I'd like to give this store 3 stars, but can't do that because on my way home, the check tire pressure light came on. Lack of attention to detail on the techs part. I had the tires rotated (and wonder if they did that correctly) and had them check the alignment, which I doubt was done as I was not provided with a printout showing it was done (I've always gotten a summary of the alignment check in the past from Firestone). The individual that checked me in was reviewing the appointment and told me they could not change the coolant because they didn't have it. He admitted he worked at Honda for seven years, but did not take any proactive steps to remedy the situation. The coolant type for my Civic is available at any parts store and could have been preordered based on the information I input into the appointment system. This occurred because the online appointment system does not have coolant flush as a maintenance option. The solution to the problem is coolant flush needs to be added to the software so that when the make and model are input, the software can alert the service techs and/or the customer to the requirement for alternative antifreeze or other materials/fluids. This is a programming issue that has a viable solution. The person responsible for reviewing and confirming appointments is also responsible to check these issues prior to the appointment - not the morning the car is brought in for maintenance. I cannot change the antifreeze as there is no way I can dispose of it safely. Local parts stores and the county recycling centers won't dispose of it. Incorrect tire pressure - Three of the four tires had TP below 30 psi, the correct TP is 32 psi. HINT for the Tech: the correct tire pressure is printed on the drivers side door label. What excuse does the tech have for not putting the proper air pressure in the tires? Why did he even need to adjust the pressure in the first place??? Only the right front tire was at the correct pressure indicating the tech took air out of the tires. This light was not on when I came in this morning, weather or temp cannot be used as an excuse for doing this improperly. By inputting the incorrect tire pressure, Firestone opened themselves to a legal issue as incorrect tire pressure can lead to an accident. I stopped, reset the TPMS system to ensure it was properly reset, but it was a waste of time as the low tire pressure light came on again shortly after resetting it requiring me to correct it when I got home (I used to be a mechanic, don't try any excuses on this one). Once again I have been inconvenienced due to the lack of attention to detail by Firestone personnel. QUESTION: Does anyone at Bridgestone / Firestone even care about their reputation? I scheduled this appointment because the Hiram store could not do the work on 12/4 due to no one showing up to work. I was hoping this store would be better, but I was wrong. I'm just going to have to stop doing business with Firestone. I no longer trust them to change the oil because the last time I took it to the Hiram store, they failed to properly secure the engine shield on the bottom of the car which resulted in damage to the shield and to the parts that secure it. They fixed it, but failed to replace the shield fasteners requiring me to order them and replace them myself. One of them cannot be put back on due to the damage. Now I can't trust them to do the alignment or tire rotation properly. I didn't pay for tires and the lifetime alignment so the techs could do the rotation and alignment incorrectly. Since I didn't get a printout/report on the alignment, how do I know it was done? Why would I trust them to rotate properly based on this experience? There are two types of rotations, direct and indirect (based on the type of tire). Unfortunately I forgot to mark one of the tires prior to the appoint to check to see if they did the correct type of rotation. DO NOT bother with your canned response to e-mail you. I did on 12/4/22 and no one responded; it's nothing more than a feeble attempt to make you look like you're addressing customer issues. If the area/district manager is supposed to respond, they aren't doing their job. The only reason you put that response on these reviews is to make it look like you actually care about your customers and want to correct issues. I would prefer to be writing positive reviews, but time and again my experiences with Firestone have been nothing but a major disappointment. The only store that I am able to trust is the one I used to do business with in Raymore MO. Suggest you do a better job of training your personnel to pay attention to details. Someone needs to be doing QR on these techs to make sure they are doing the work properly. read more

This place is awful. Acworth, GA location - They left my oil cap off resulting in me driving it with no oil and they are not helping professionally. They are doing as little as possible very minimal!!!!This place is an absolute joke. Do not take your care here. Possible long term damage to my car and they don't even care to clean the oil from my engine properly leaving oil on my alternator, hoses, belts and all over the rest of my engine. They lied and told me they cleaned it. The manager even said he had three people look at it to ensure it was clean. I am furious and have hired an attorney to handle this. This wrong of them to handle this situation with such disregard to me and my property. I expect the car to be in the condition it was in when I dropped it off mechanically and with cleanliness. NEVER TAKE YOUR CAR HERE!!!!! They admitted to being liable and said they would take responsibility but are not doing what needs to be done! There is oil on my hoses, belts, alternator and all over my engine and they won't even clean it up. I'm so fed up with these people. Firestone should be ashamed to do business like this. After being a Firestone customer for over a decade. (The whole family actually goes to Firestone.) I came in today asking how much it would cost to get my TPMS reprogrammed to the car. Which realistically takes 10-15 minutes. I was told by "Jacob" working the front desk that it would be an hours charge at 125$ which is mind blowing. After informing him discount tire does this service for free which is all customer service related he did not show any customer service at all. I made an appointment for a wheel alignment and the process went smooth. I end up buying the lifetime wheel alignment from them so I can do routine check/adjustment as needed. However, when I asked for a print out of the before/after alignment results, I was told that it would be emailed. After a few days, it still was not emailed to me and I have no way of verifying if the alignment was completed. A Survey link was sent to me a few days later, and I completed them voicing my concerns about the alignment results and was informed that somebody from the store would contact me regarding my concern. Nobody ever contacted me, and all I received was a random email from Hunter Net showing an alignment results for the wrong vehicle (not my vehicle). Overall, while the store experience was smooth, the customer service and lack of communication and after service was severely lacking. I will go to another Firestone location and avoid this one moving forward. read more

I was on my way back home from a road trip. Beginning a 400 mile trip. Rear tire popped and we were nearly stranded. It was Sunday evening and Firestone was closing. Donna and Drew were a saving grace. They had no problem staying extra and helping me and my fiancé get home safely and installing new tires. They were also super helpful, patient and friendly. If I lived closer this location they would adopt all my car care business. They treated me like family and helped me in a tough time. read more

Took my car here to see if they can replace a headlight bulb that had gone out bringing a bulb with me from a nearby autozone. I arrived an hour before their closing time and they claimed that to replace the bulb would require taking out the car battery and over 45 minutes and tried to recommend me to make an appointment. I said I likely won't be able to return to the area for a while because of work and they then recommended me a place closer to my work that proceeded to try to tell me they would need to take my battery and whole front bumper off to replace the headlight bulb and the price would be over $100 It's an '08 Chevy Impala not a rocket ship. I ended up buying one tool and YouTubing my way through it and replaced it in minutes without taking off a bumper nor taking out a battery. Bunch of scam artists. read more

The ONLY reason why this is not a 1-star review is because Bill saved the day! As soon as I walked in, Veronica was there to take my service order. The entire time I was dealing with her she had a bad attitude, unprofessionally exclaimed how glad she was that she was getting off of work and having a day off tomorrow, tried to guilt me into getting a Firestone credit card, and tried to discourage me from getting my oil change because it was "almost" time to close. They didn't close until 7 and I arrived at around 5:15ish. I watched as she continually and passionately tried to discourage other customers that we're walking in from getting their cars serviced.The other customers commented on her bad attitude as well in the waiting area. The last time I came in, she was behind the podium unprofessionally laughing to herself out loud while filling out our service order until I finally I asked her what was so funny, in which she responded, "Oh, nothing." Veronica is a business owner's worst nightmare! She is unprofessional, looks completely uninterested in helping customers while dealing with her, has a nasty attitude, and drives away business whenever possible. She made me and my friend feel like we were completely unwelcome. Fortunately, Bill took over the rest of my service order, and turned my entire experience around. On Saturday, I noticed that the wire in my tire was coming out but it was too late in the evening to call around and get it fixed. Sunday morning, I woke up and immediately started driving down Cobb Parkway to find somewhere to get it fixed. I called Firestone and spoke to Brian who was super nice and explained my situation. Of course, he told me to come in and he would get it taken care of. I told Brian - I'm super cheap and I can't pay an arm and leg and he made an effort not to push any additional services on me. Due to the Covid-19 crisis we had to get our son from college in Ohio.- with little notice and very quickly. We had planned to get new tires within the next few weeks, but the need to get our son from 650 miles away from up north required us to get them sooner and on a very short timeline. We called and spoke to Bill, who assured us that they could get the tires on before we had to leave at 1PM-this was at 8:30AM. On a side note, I asked my husband to get new wipers blades when he dropped off our Suburban, which he forgot to do. He called Firestone when he got back home and spoke to Bill again. Bill was super helpful because even though he said Firestone didn't carry the type/brand of wiper blades we wanted, he said he'd run out to an auto parts store and pick some up & install them for our trip. That was totally unexpected & completely above and beyond his job description. Needless to say, we were floored and very appreciative. Bill called at 10:30 to let us know that our Suburban was all done and ready to be picked up. A full 2 1/2 hours ahead of schedule. We were able to get on the road sooner than expected to get our son and we were so thankful we had new tires & wiper blades while driving through the rain, sleet & snow we encountered in Northern Kentucky & Ohio. read more

I took the car in on Friday afternoon 1/9/15 because I felt the car needed either a motor mount or transmission mount replaced. I was greeted by a nice girl at the counter. She made up the ticket, I also asked for an oil change. She suggested a "Winter Car Care Package" which was $9.99 for a visual inspection. This inspection included checking fluid levels and headlights. I agreed to the service. She asked when did I need the car back-I told her They could keep it until Sunday if needed, because I knew they would have to order the mount. I've had these replaced before and know the average shop does not keep this part in stock. She told me they would check out the car that afternoon and call me Saturday Morning with their repair recommendations. When I didn't hear from the shop Saturday morning - I called. The man on the phone replied that I said they could keep the car until Sunday, so they weren't even going to check it out until Sunday morning. I told him I didn't say they could keep the car because I didn't need my car, I left it because they would have to order a part and if they waited until Sunday they would not be able to fix my car. Later someone else called me, telling me that they had checked the brakes and my brakes were fine, but my front rotors were worn. Otherwise all the pads were fine. He did say that the transmission mount was broken. They were going to replaced the rotors, change the oil, and replace the transmission mount. The earliest they could get the mount was Sunday at 2pm I complained about the "Winter Car Care" package. I told him that I had never had a shop charge for a visual inspection and beside that-I knew I had a headlight out, so obviously they had not really inspected the car. I got a call about 2:30 pm Sunday saying that the car was finished . That struck me as odd, since they supposedly got the part at 2pm. I though 30 minutes was very quick to replace a mount. He told me that there was nothing wrong with the mount. They did not know what was causing the vibration. Instead they had replaced all brake pads, drums and rotors. (Yesterday I was told this was not needed) On the list of needed repairs they gave me, the first thing on the list was I needed to replace the broken transmission mount. It also said I had declined the repair. I got the car home and noticed that the odometer had only changed by a couple of miles. Other shops always test drive the car before repairs and after to make sure everything was okay. The hood of the car was not closed and the car was left in the parking lot unlocked. They did service they told me was not needed and did not do repairs that were needed. I would not recommend this shop to ANYONE! As a follow up, I took my car to another shop and not only did the Transmission mount need replacing, I also had a motor mount replaced. There has been no vibration in my car since the repair has been made. read more

Had my Infinity 2008 G37s put into shop at 0700hrs. on 10/31/15 for brake pads replacement. Business said I needed a tire alignment. I agreed got my tires aligned in addition to brake pads. Unfortunately for me, whomever worked on the car was not certified to work on an Infinity product. The person failed to tighten up my battery cable. The Manager advised me that during their inspection it was determined that my battery had a decrease charge and probably would not start if temperature was below 34 degrees. I thanked him for the information but given it is rare for the Atlanta area to get that cold and since my car is kept in a warm garage I figured I could wait a while before spending USD 150.00 on a new battery. Left busines after a six hour wait went accross stretet to Krogers; battery would not start car. Contacted Firestone and Manager immediately told me no one touch the battery. However, when alignment is being conducted negative terminal of battery must be disconnected according to a mechanic that did not work on my car. it was the negative terminal on my battery that came off when I checked to see if there was a good connection. Given the lack of the Firestone's acceptance of error I cannot recommend this business to anyone. I have used this business over the years but every time I enter there are different personnel working there. Any time there are numerous changes, or a high turnover in personnel for an established business it means the business has a problem. I had to convince Firestone to send a technician across the street to give me a jump because they claimed they did not manipulate my battery. So, given the facts that the negative terminal has to be disconnected from my battery when executing a wheel alignment, they had to disconnect the negative terminal to my battery or they charged me for a wheel alignment that was never conducted if they claim no one touched my car battery. For keeping me there for six hours on a Saturday I was given a card informing anyone that I could receive a free oil change. I WILL NOT USE THE CARD SINCE THEY MAY FORGET TO TIGHTEN UP THE OIL DRAINAGE PLUG and then claim it fell out when I left the business! In addition to the above, all the electronics on my car were screwed up and it took me an addition two hours to bring them back on line. My battery was also dead the next day because the technician from Firestone that finally jumped my vehicle, that told me he tightened up my negative cable failed to tighten up my negative battery cable as he said he did. I will never take my vehicles there again. read more

I have been taking our cars here for years and have received quick and reliable service for basic services (oil changes, brakes, etc). When we had something more complicated they told us to take it to the dealer. This week was different. Asked for an oil change, tire rotation and tire pressure checked because the indicator light was on. I bought my tires here and paid a premium price AND bought the life time alignment. Another woman was in and overheard them charging her 70.00 to fix a nail hole. She argued to no avail and they had already fix it so she paid it and took the car. It should have cost no more than 10.00 I wasn't paying attention when we got our car, only to notice once we got home that the tire pressure indicator light was still on. Next day, on the way into work, I noticed a shimmy. So I had to take off work early again and take it back in. Without even looking at it, the kid said it needed to be balanced and I would have to pay 50.00. If it needed to be balanced, they should have done it yesterday, and FIFTY dollars! for balancing. I call my husband, he says absolutely not. I leave and go one block down the road to Discount Tires. They filled my tires (the low pressure indicator light is not on) and balanced the tires FOR FREE. Firestone had no consideration of the hassle they put me through. Discount Tires will get my tire business in the future and I no longer trust Firestone. read more

I have been doing business here for 15 years. Always good customer service, fair pricing and half way decent coffee... They always provide recommendations to extra service and mostly I don't have them do the small stuff (air filter, wiper blades, etc...), but they do catch things I haven't noticed. Learned my lesson early to get the lifetime alignment and road hazard on tires. I drive 40,000 miles each year, so I'm there often. read more

I brought in my vehicle for a quick low air check of my front left tire when the shop first opened in the morning. After waiting for 45 minutes with a small child, manager William notified me that they determined which tire had a leak but didn't see what was causing it (this is after I originally told him which tire had a problem in it). 30 minutes later, William came in to tell me the news that my tire had a hole on the inside of the thread and I now needed a new tire, because the hole couldn't be repaired. He then proceeded with quotes to replace the tire, with a lowest price of $110. I quickly left the shop, because I was very dissatisfied with the outrageous price for 1 tire and 1.5 hours of wasted time spent at the store without any resolution. I then went to Jones Tire on Main St of Acworth where not only my tire was repaired, but all wheels were rotated and balanced within 20 minutes for a cost of only $16. If you value your money and time, find another auto shop for your needs. read more
