Had an appointment today and Ethan, the Manager, personally helped me. I was told it would be an hour and it was. After waiting, in the waiting room, it was not delivered. Unusual. The way I knew it was complete was by receiving an automatic text. I looked out the window in the parking lot an didn't see it anywhere on either side of the building. The Manager saw I was looking around and said my name was called when the vehicle was finished. I said it wasn't or didn't hear and he repeated 'your name was called' in a very curt/demeaning tone. He handed me the keys and said the car was parked out back where cars are placed for folks that don't wait on their cars. After a long pause... he said, do you want it to be brought forward? So... he personally waited on me, knew I was waiting for my vehicle, heard my name called, was content to let me continue to sit and then rebuked me for not hearing for an announcement he claimed occurred. I took the keys and walked to the back of the building, past the specially coned-off garage doors, to fetch my vehicle. As a manager of a business he should know better. His approach adds zero value to the transaction of one who had been a loyal customer for many years. No excuse. read more

I seldom post reviews of businesses, especially negative ones, but this is by far the worst I've ever been treated by any service provider. I brought my 2015 Subaru Forester to Discount Tire about a year and a half ago for new tires, and was later informed by my regular mechanic that they had cross threaded a bolt in one wheel. Discount Tire initially denied responsibility, but finally agreed to repair it at a third party mechanic. Months later, I've been informed that multiple bolts are cross threaded on at least two more wheels- and one lug nut broke off when my mechanic tried to rotate the tires. As it stands my car is not road worthy, Discount Tire is once again denying responsibility, and are slow walking a claim that has been filed with some third party service. They were the last ones to touch the wheels on my car. My mechanic has quoted up to $300 - $400 per wheel to repair the remaining wheels, depending on how many studs and lug nuts are destroyed. When I confronted them yesterday, they claimed to not have any record of any this. I was able to get the invoice of the first repair from the third party repair shop (Brookstone Auto Center) so it's very strange and shady to me that they don't have it. My strong piece of advice is to go elsewhere for tires. Mistakes can happen anywhere, but these guys have a culture of covering up their mistakes and lying about it, and very rudely claiming they're not responsible. read more

Bought a set of 50k tires and new rims on 5/16/25 for my Charger, had them rotated every oil change, took it in for rotation last week, 32k miles in and they won't rotate them they say I need new tires. Due to the low mileage they offer me a discount on another set of scrappy tires. I went elsewhere and got 80k tires for $200 less than I paid for the scrappy tires I got last year. I would never put their poor quality tires on my car again and would NEVER recommend them to anyone. read more

I asked them to fix the stud/lug nut and they said they do not do any mechanics work. After researching, the proper solution would have been for the manager to send me to local mechanic shop and bill discount tire for the repair. I had to ask 45 minutes later why was my car still sitting there? Oh we're backed up. Really Why because you're trying to please everyone i.e. walk ins and not accommodate the appointment people. What's the point of making an appointment if you won't honor it? Bad management. Not happy. I am a Discount Tire loyal customer. I will continue to come back to any location because of how they have taken care of me over the years. This Acworth location was ok, not as well staffed as usual, completely missing their estimate on when they could get to my car by over an hour. BUT, once they got the car in the bay, they change out four SUV tires in 20 minutes. I was a little frustrated by the initial wait, mostly because it seemed that they took care of people who showed up after me first even when I had an appointment. I have been a customer of Discount Tires for years. Every vehicle I've owned I make sure I put on tires from Discount Tire on them. The staff is always courteous, and they always have quick service. I highly recommend getting the extra coverage on your tires when purchasing - I've had flats due to nails in my sidewall, my own negligence (to my defense, that curb shouldn't have been there...;)), and have received a replacement for free - the only cost was an optional fee to add the coverage on my new tire. They also will check your tire pressure and fill them up for free if you stop in. I am a loyal customer and will be continuing to go there for all my tire needs. read more

Everytime I go there for air to be put in tires, the cars rides smooth when I drive in. Once the they put the air in, the car rides rough. They ask you to open your door so they can put the air in according to the car sticker. Let's face it, 22# isn't going to do it. Had an appointment made for 12:30pm. After standing in line, my appointment became 1:40pm. The whole point of having an appointment is to avoid the line. What's the point of making an appointment if you're going to be in a line waiting for whatever time you're standing there. Either have separate lines or hire more employees.
