    Didn't do half the things they were supposed to do. Won't be back there. Not even sure the did the oil change was in and out so fast.

They were able to identify the issue and resolve it in a timely manner. I know for a lot of car repair shops, it often takes days maybe even sometimes weeks to do a big repair. In my case, I had a semi-intense repair needed for my engine and they were able to resolve it within 2 days. As a woman, it is important to me that I am being treated fairly and with kindness when engaging in conversations and inquiries with a car repair shop. The shop was very clean which is important to me since often times, people will choose to wait in the shop why their car is being repaired or services. As stated, they were very informative, approachable, and even showed pictures displaying the issue of my car while also providing the severity of it. It's been about 3 weeks since my repair and I haven't had any issues with it since. Definitely will be my go to car repair shop if I ever run into any issues in the future.

I had made an appointment but arrived almost ninety minutes early; they took me in, and got to me a bit earlier. The garage is behind a RaceTrac and across from a hospital; it's a busy area, so you have to get in either by going through the RaceTrac parking lot or going down by the hospital and (depending on where you're coming from) maybe doing a U-turn. Not a good or a bad thing; just something to be aware of. Services aren't the cheapest, but they do it right and guarantee their work. Good place, recommended garage.

I also needed a shuttle ride back to my house while they worked on my car, and the driver was pleasant, patient, and great to talk to. They even continued to take customers after their closing time just to make sure everyone was taken care of. During the oil change, they performed a full courtesy check while I waited in the car, showed me my air filter, and explained the oil options without being pushy, and helped me decide the best option for me and my car. Some time after, I noticed a small oil drip. At that point, it was never even fully determined whether it was something they did or simply a failed seal on our end -- and honestly, it was probably a part failure. What happened next is what truly sets this company apart. Michael, the owner, personally called me and handled the situation with professionalism and integrity. Because the line wasn't entirely clear on whether the issue was a failed part or something related to the service, he took ownership of making it right. His focus was on standing behind the work, doing right by the customer, and building a long-term relationship -- not pointing fingers. They went way above and beyond. Kia is notorious for requiring OEM parts (aftermarket just won't work properly), so they had to track down a specific part. Michael and his team called multiple Kia dealerships, pulled strings, and somehow managed to get the part the same day, even though we were originally told it could take several days. That alone was impressive. They repaired the vehicle immediately -- and the next morning, Michael and his father personally delivered the car to my house. His father has over 40 years of experience working on vehicles and plays an active role in overseeing the work, which really shows. The two of them together are an impressive team. In conversation, I mentioned to Michael that part of my work involves helping businesses think through customer experience, and we talked about what it looks like to truly take care of people. The hardest time to do that is when it costs the business owner money. This repair did cost him money -- and he still did the right thing without hesitation. I've already referred many people to Strickland Brothers in the past because of consistently good service -- but this experience was different. I can confidently say I will never get my oil changed anywhere else, and I will be using Strickland Brothers for any automotive service they offer. I'll continue referring people without hesitation.     Went here for years, but I will not be returning. Recently, my son took his car in to get the oil…read morechanged. Apparently, the car was "running hot" and they had to "top off the coolant". They told me that it was a bit low on coolant, but they topped it off. He got the oil changed and drove out. 2 days later, the engine blew (threw a rod), apparently due to overheating (or maybe due to not correctly installing the oil drain plug... we will never know). After my mechanic told me that the car's engine died due to not having oil (again, it could have been this, but there is a very good chance it was simply overheating), I contacted the store and spoke with the manager. His name is Chabrol Johnson (he goes by CJ). He made me feel bad for taking the car to my mechanic and not taking it to him first (I told him I wasn't sure what the issue was, so I didn't want to assume it was their fault). He pressured me into letting them tow the car there for them to examine it. He was extremely rude and unprofessional. When I questioned him about being able to drive a car 87 miles on an engine with a thrown rod, he told me that you could drive a car with a thrown rod (sorry, this just isn't true... it would be undeniable that something was wrong and you would not be driving it all over town). After multiple exchanges with him, I decided that I needed to talk to someone who was more professional so we could get to the bottom of things. I ended up talking to the regional manager (Her name was Jill) and she was SO nice and helpful. We examined footage to prove that they did put oil in the car and had to add almost a gallon of coolant (which was very different than them telling me it was a "bit low" but they topped it off). Again, I find it suspicious that the car drove in fine and blew up 2 days later, BUT it very well could have been the coolant issue... That being said, my review is not because of THAT part... it is how the manager at this location (CJ) treated me. Disrespectful, rude, sarcastic and condescending and very unprofessional. I suggest going to another location where you will be treated better (should you find yourself in a situation where you need to speak with a manager). I will never be returning here. :-)

I paid…read more90.00 to get the lock cut off , and tire changed out to a new on the I purchased at discount tires. I took my car back to this shop so they can maybe rebalance the tire. They told me we can take a look at it, but you might have to pay. I cannot believe the nerve.
