My car sounded like a bucket every time I hit any pot whole it sounded as though the whole right wheel was coming off. So they said oh it's just a sway bar link. The owner rode with me, and said oh it's just that you must replace the Struts. To the tune of about $800 just for part. I drive a 2014 E350. I drove away so mad I could chew nails. The parts store recommended somewhere else. All tune would not even ask if they could correct it. They put the newest most green tech on my car who had an issue removing the front tire. They invited me come back and work on my car again. I went to another repair shop. He found that they intentionally left the pars disconnected so I would get more work done by their incompetent shop. DO NOT GO TO THIS PLACE. IT IS WORTHLESS THEY WILL TRY TO DRAIN YOU FOR EVERY CENT YOU HAVE. YOU WILL NOT NEED THE PARTS THAT THEY WILL RECOMMEND. I then emailed the pictures Javier took to the manufacturer, Corsa, and as it turns out JM installed it upside down. When I asked for a refund, he refused, got angry and remarked "you better learn English" for context l'm a second generation Cuban immigrant, and I'm a bit tan but my english is completely fluent without even an accent. Javier, the owner, was paid over $7k for labor on an OEM engine rebuild, yet my performance car left the shop with a dead battery and a coolant leak. Not only did the shop owner try to weasel out of the 'warranty' by telling me I would have to pay for a coolant system repair, but he overbilled me. After agreeing on a rate of $125/hr the final bill states $169/hr which created about $1000 profit. Irresponsible comes from leaving my car smelling like shop oil/grease. My car has a dead battery, is leaking coolant, and smells like grease. IF YOU DONT STAND BEHIND YOUR WORK, YOU WILL CONTINUE TO LOSE CUSTOMERS! HONOR YOUR COMMITMENTS. Wow! Never had as many problems just trying to get a reasonably accurate estimate from any auto repair shop as this one. The process with four other shops I checked out for the same repairs using same description went smoothly, so not sure why it was so difficult for RNJ. Needed a simple headlight replacement, installation of a new combo meter (circuit board that displays speedometer and odometer), and a quote for an engine swap on a Prius. The woman who provided a two hour quote for the combo meter, Nancy J., didn't know what one was - which is understandable - but apparently couldn't be bothered to look it up. On July 15 promised to get me a quote on the engine swap the next day, then almost two weeks later (July 27) said still didn't have it. Rather than being somewhat apologetic for not following up as promised, her reply was seething with sarcasm. Things rarely turn out well, in my experience, when a company is this careless and puts someone who doesn't understand the fundamentals of customer service as your first point of contact. It's not uncommon for these companies to exercise poor judgment in other aspects of the business as well. Bottom line: Service leaves much to be desired and prices not very competitive. Too many shops out there who are eager to earn your business and extremely capable to put up with this level of carelessness and sarcasm. Is this shop better than a dealership as mentioned in several of the positive reviews? Sure. But that's setting the bar really low. [Note: Nancy edited her sarcastic comments out of the allegedly entire conversation in her response. Can't help but think if they're incapable of honesty in a review, how much can you trust them with your auto repairs?]
