The Star of the show for us was the Serrano Cheddar Sausage. My wife said it was the best smoked sausage ever. She is a real Texan. The loaded tater tot salad and cream corn Outstanding. The people at the counter who greeted us were super friendly and thankful that we stopped by on our road trip from Dallas. We ordered fatty brisket, ribs, sausage, a texas twinkie, the illustrious Brussels sprouts, tater tot casserole, and potato salad. Everything was really good. The brisket was smoked nicely getting a really good render. I like it all little saltier and more spiced personally, but it was really good. The ribs seem like the house specialty. They are spare ribs and have a really good glaze on them. Fall off the bone and perfectly seasoned. The sausage was fine. All the sides were excellent. Brussels are about as good as they can get. The potato salad was creamy and rich. The tater tot casserole was interesting. Kinda pasty but still really good. I thought it needed some crunch but that could be because the way they hot hold it. We will be back every time we are in sulfur springs. This is top notch Texas BBQ!

The…read morebuilding is an old style gas station that has been transformed into a casual BBQ restaurant with plenty of parking. Easy in and easy out. Call-in "to-go" orders are welcome. My first visit to Sharon's BBQ and Grub House was on a Friday, at forty minutes past the hour of eleven in the morning. The restaurant was reasonably busy. I must have had the look of being lost on my first visit, but the staff quickly told me and my guest to seat ourselves and a waitress would assist us. The table we chose was in the front section against the wall with a nice window looking out onto the parking lot and onto Church Street. Unfortunately the table was unclean from the previous guest and littered with cracker crumbs. One of the staff quickly wiped the table down for us. Sharon's has a "special of the day" posted on the board along with a standard menu. On the day of my visit, the special was pulled pork tacos and that is what I selected, for $7.75. Not a bad price at all for BBQ. The plate was delivered quickly to the table and the food was warm. The pulled pork was tender and served on the small "street taco" style flour tortillas. There were three. On the plate was a bowl of course chopped white onions, and two-blend course shredded cheese and a small serving of BBQ sauce. I was offered sliced jalapeno peppers, I declined. This particular special also was also accompanied by a side of pinto beans (approx 1/3rd cup). The plates and bowls remind me of the kind that I used to eat from when I was in elementary school. The shredded pork was moist and tender and the tortillas were warm and fresh. The BBQ sauce was surprisingly sweet. The pinto beans were not remarkable. What makes Sharon's BBQ and Grub House a jewel is that it is on the northside of town, easy to get to (one does not have to traverse 18 traffic stop signs to get there), easy in and easy out, and they serve quickly. If you dine with Sharon's BBQ and Grub House, you will actually have time for lunch with time to spare. I will certainly eat at Sharon's BBQ and Grub House again. No regrets! Sharon's BBQ and Grub House accepts credit cards and is open Tuesday through Saturday, 10:20 a.m. - 2:00 p.m. https://www.facebook.com/Sharonsbbqandgrubhouse/
