They were always friendly, courteous and willing to answer any questions we had. From the massive staging construction, the crown and brick removal, to the beautiful rebuild and complete waterproofing of our chimney...these guys were extremely efficient and worked very well together....it was impressive to say the least. The color matching of the new brick and mortar to our existing is incredible. The craftsmanship and quality of work is second to none! Do you think I could even get a return phone call or email from Boston/Cambridge area stores? The answer is NO. I emailed Chelmsford Fireplace to ask which models of Valor, Jotul, and Rais they had on the showroom floor. I had a clearly written returned email in ten minutes. I went up to Chelmsford and purchased a Valor stove within 15 minutes of arrival on a Saturday, and it was installed the following Friday. I knew this was a quality place as i entered the store. The store was crowded with customers, it was clean and organized, and the staff were attentive and knowledgeable. This is completely the opposite situation that I have found at other stores. If you want to speak to someone who knows their business and products, take that 30 minute ride up from Boston. I promise, it will be worth it. Since I am located in Somerville I am out of their installation area. No problem, they have The Fireplace Guys LLC out of Malden do their Boston installations. The installation was executed perfectly and complete in four hours. A fantastic overall experience.

Unfortunately we mistakenly hired an Irish Guy (small business) who owned a Chimney Repair business that came in at a low price. He was a complete disaster, and ended up tearing down half of the chimney, we fired him since we discovered he did not pull the proper permits to perform the work needed. We then found Best Chimney, and met with Reggie the salesman to discuss options going forward. He reassured us that it can be fixed without tearing down the rest of the chimney, and we believe he gave us a fair estimate of the work needed to complete the job. The masons were very quiet, and worked efficiently, and completed the rebuild in a timely manner. As you can see in the before and after photos we are very happy with the Chimney rebuild. Thanks So Much Best Chimney of Dedham ! It should be noted that Reggie was able to find a supplier of distressed bricks that matched the rest of the 125 year old brick house.
