When there were equipment issues on the day of the schedule services, we had some issues with communication flow but they made things right with offering a discount and completed the service the next day for the 2" spray foam and they documented the work via videos which was great. So happy I called him because there was an issue with my fireplace and so happy we weren't using it! I called this company thinking I was talking to a local business with direct employees. After…read morebeing contacted by a lady with an Indiana phone number, who told me techs would be arriving in 45 mins, the two techs showed up 2 hrs later. They were dressed very sloppy, no company logo and in a regular black SUV. No logo there either. After taking a picture of my flue with his phone, the main tech says he's going to look on our roof but never goes up to the roof because we watched them both. A few minutes later they return from outside, and start going into this long dialogue about the state of the chimney - no way he could know since he literally just took one pic of my but he went into detail about our chimney being 50% ok. Then I recognize these guys as the same crew who came out years ago when we first bought our home. That time they quoted us $7000 to "fix everything that was wrong with our chimney". When I said that was too expensive, he stated haggling with me down to $3000. We didn't hire them then and when I realized today that it was the same crew, I cut him off his spiel and asked what the bottom line was. He says $700 to clean ( bait and switch since I was told a range of between $99-$179 with a $69 service fee applied to the inspection. Then I told him I recognized them, I would not be using them, since the last time another company came out and said there was nothing wrong with our chimney and performed a full cleaning for $149. For today, I went ahead and paid the $69 service fee but want to warn others of this practice. Count this as my not going to fool me twice and certainly don't want to see this happen to anyone else. This is a classic bait and switch tactic. Moreover, that they didn't even do an inspection it's outrageous to charge customers any inspection fee but I've found most legit companies don't do that. Edit : after looking at my receipt for the service fee I paid, it's listed as Universal Chimney and Duct cleaning AND the company I called originally was showing as Texans Chimney. Talk about a mess and creating confusion, it's no wonder these guys operate like this. You literally don't know who they are.....

Williams installed over 1000 sq ft of 12 inch blown in insulation in my home plus they made repairs or replaced some rolled insulation that was on the walls. The installers were clean, polite and professional. When they arrived we went over the work to be done before they started. I was very pleased with the job and my home was left clean. The price was competitive as I got 3 quotes to compare. Bruce quoted the job and followed up. I would recommend them.
