Grant it it's almost dead into the summer but no one acknowledged us when we walked in or even after looking around for um 10 minutes!! I called this company on a Thursday morning. They told me that it would be a couple of days but…read morethat they would put me on a list. 10 minutes later they called back and they were on their way. I have a brand new, weeks old, air conditioner that was installed incorrectly as far as filling with refrigerant and making all the adjustments of pressure and whatnot. The tech got here at 8: 45 and he was here until 11:00 a.m.. Turns out the AC was way overcharged with refrigerant. The air filter hadn't been changed in sometime, The tech couldn't figure out why we weren't getting enough airflow out of the vents in the house. Completely blocked air filter was the issue. I have an inherent distrust of car salesman, car repair shops, electricians, and AC guys. After watching the tech work for 5 minutes I knew I'd made the right choice in calling AireServ. This company is a franchise, all AirServe locations are franchises that are locally owned and operated. Part of the reason I chose them was because they are local Even though they have that nationally recognized name. I couldn't be happier. Thermostat is set to 72, the thermometer says 72. Then first day on the job a truckload of gravel arrived and they asked for some cash to pay the truck driver. I asked for copy of the bill but got nothing. The crew they had was their sons who were lazy and useless and two other workers speaking Spanish that did most of the work. When they started bashing out the old asphalt with sledge hammer and pieces flying around nobody had any safety glasses on. When boss asked first son to get the garden hose from back yard and move it to the front yard I showed him where it was. Then the kid asked me what to do. I had to show the kid how to unscrew the hose from the tap. When boss asked second son to trim edge of concrete straight with brand new angle grinder I had to help the kid unbox it and assemble the guard. Then they took the guard off to because it wouldn't cut deep enough. When I gave the kid extension cord to plug in grinder he asked me which end to use. Then the boss decided to trim concrete himself no guard no safety glasses. I asked him to use my cheap safety glasses. Then the concrete was too much work to cut so they changed the original plan to cut concrete an said it would be okay to pave up to broken edge of concrete and leave a small bump where asphalt meets concrete. They also wanted to borrow some of my tools like shovels, rakes, wheel barrow, rope. Then on day two I was told they don't take visa and I had to pay cash or e-transfer. They needed more cash to pay the asphalt truck. As I am arguing with the boss about what was agreed too I see first son operating the roller machine and the kid runs over one of my shovels two times. So I have run to the bank to get the rest in cash. When I get back he said the job is done but before I paid him I looked over the job site and I asked him to pick the fast food containers from his workers and I asked him to move a wheel barrow of extra soil that was supposed to be dumped in the garden not along the side of fence. I asked for an invoice because the price was supposed to include taxes. Still waiting for the invoice. Overall a very bad experience. They failed to deliver on a lot of what they promised or told me like when they said 3" thick asphalt but what I saw was more like 1" thick. I won't recommend them many for reasons like no basic safety equipment. Switch and bait tactics like promising one thing to get the job and do another when you get the job. Only cash dealings with no invoice. Too much to list. Sorry I ever dealt with this company. My fault I guess for being a sucker and believing what other people tell you.
