Have had the privilege of using The Blind Guy on my first home many years ago for window blinds in living area and bedroom room darkening, remote controlled shades in the bedroom. They recently installed a wall of window shades in another vacation home of mine and rolling screens on a couple of doors. A very disappointing experience with the Blind Guy Kalispell. After a home refresh I asked if the Blind Guys could come and rehang my blinds in my house. They accepted an appointment, albeit 3 weeks after my call, I waited patiently for my appointment. They arrived at my house and without even looking at what the job was told me they will only service and install blinds they sell and no other blinds. I explained that they had asked me to wait to get the appointment which I did. The owner Rick Bagley then called me to say that they won't hang other company blinds over "liability". If you want to have someone sell you blinds at 5 times the price you can buy them for on Amazon, call the Blind Guys and pay for a ridiculously overpriced service. If you want someone whom will re install blinds you have taken down, do not call The Blind Guys, they will mess you around, come out to your house and try and sell you hugely marked up blinds, then when you ask them to help with some existing blinds you have they will refuse. It boggles my mind that they would not rehang my blinds for a fee. They only want to sell you way overpriced blinds. I bought 6 blinds from Amazon for $400 and they would not install them. Very disappointed as they said they would come and do a job then refused when they arrived because they said they did not sell the blinds to me! read more

The Blind Guy who came to my house was Jeff. He was very good. Gave me ideas and measured all my windows. The installation went well. I had a couple problems and they came out quickly and took care of it. Jeff also came out and helped me with ordering a new awning. Installation was perfect. This is a wonderful company. I just heard from the blind guy two months later than they had promised my installation. They promised that I would have these blinds and they would be installed by the first week of July. It is now the first week of September and they are claiming they have been trying to reach me for the past month - not possible since I received no message of any kind until today. They also promised that they would refund my money if the blinds weren't installed by the first week of July. Not only are they keeping my deposit of almost $500, they are also charging me another $480 for the blinds that I cannot use and no longer need. I am refusing to pay the extra $480 so they are now sending me to collections. Unbelievable. Absolutely do not recommend these people, they are shysters - unbelievably bad customer service and an awful awful company to deal with. I have never posted a negative post about any company in my entire life, but I had to do so this time. I hope they make this right. read more

We had this guy do our home with his junk products and it was terrible. All of the blinds don't work and after checking on these product online they where rate poorly by consumer report. Remember we love living in Bigfork. Most services here in Bigfork Montana are good. But becouse the economy in the last few years in Bigfork Montana has been good and It's been easy for these sub-standard contractors to take advantage of the good people of Bigfork Montana. After several calls to resolve these problems there was no response. My family has been in Bigfork since 1923 and this is our home. We have seen these types of people come here over the generations and it's sad,but they always get chased out. Maybe this guy should go back to where ever. Many time we western's are gullible. Amazing professional friendly company. Jeff Howlett came out to our condo and patiently went through each room greatly assisting in choosing the right type and colors for all the rooms. As quoted, delivery happened in the exact time frame of 3-4 weeks and installation was quick, clean and professional. All the installers were knowledgeable on their products and provided great assurance of what they sell and do.
