    Just to spare you a ton of time and words to read my emergency brake was on and would not turn off…read more I was in the middle of my work day with 2 special needs clients who have Autism, one having very difficult time with my car situation. Needless to say it wasn't long before this stressful situation got a lot more stressful. The first tow truck came but they were not equipped with what was needed to get the car on the truck so I was instructed by that truck driver to call my SOS back and have them call for another tow and left us there distressed. Any way,I had to call back and Rapid Recovery came this time. Not only did they reply quickly but they sent Jonathan Lake who clearly heard the stress in my voice when I explained about having two autistic people in the car who were not pleased with the situation. He was calm, professional and made me feel completely heard, at ease and was compassionate of our situation. He explained that he would get there as soon as possible, even calling a second time to give us his location and reassure us that he's not too far away. He allowed me to leave the keys in the car so that I could take care of the two people I was driving back home to deescalate tension and behavior (the first company would not allow me to do that) I cannot explain how much I appreciated his calm demeanor, professionalism and kindness. Please give this man the recognition and compensation he deserves and do not let him go!! Professionals with kindness and humanity are not always easy to find. I hope you understand that his professionalism and compassion really helped us get through today. Thank you for recovering us all Jonathan! Vida Garcia

    One star is one too many!…read more I needed a tow on Tuesday and again today and both times after contacting AAA I received the following texts, 2/10 & 2/13 respectively: AAAService: Hi , help is on the way! This is Y1832-Corey F with RAPID RECOVERY TOWING SVC.. I will meet you at XXXXXXXXXXXX. These are automated texts. Please do NOT reply. AAAService: Hi , help is on the way! This is Y1832-Jason B with RAPID RECOVERY TOWING SVC.. I will meet you at XXXXXXXXXXXX. These are automated texts. Please do NOT reply. I received no updates or a map of how far the driver was out. I contacted AAA several times for updates and only after making these calls did I finally get a tow. On 2/10 it was about 2 1/2 hours later and today it was 1 1/2 later, mainly because I had a feeling I would get into the same issue I encountered on Tues. As it so happened, the same drive that came on Tues, came today. He was dispatched and immediately I received a text with a link to his location and how long it would take him to get to me. All AAA could tell me is that the driver is on the way, they could be stuck in traffic or with another person, no information. Corey F & Jason B who were dispatched on both those days, don't exist. This company takes paying customers before they go to contracted customers. They use these fictitious texts to hold you till they get around to towing you. When a real driver was dispatched, within minutes I received a text allowing me to track my drive and he was here in the amount of time the text said. They are liars and thieves and no one should do business with them.

What should have been a routine visit quickly turned into an extremely uncomfortable and upsetting experience. My husband is a young Black cargo van operator and the owner of a logistics business. While working in Sag Harbor, he encountered an issue with his cargo van and stopped by your shop seeking assistance. As a business owner who relies on his vehicle daily, he approached the situation professionally and simply needed support to get back on the road. From the moment he arrived, he felt that he was treated with a lack of respect and professionalism. The staff's tone and behavior toward him were dismissive, and he was not given the same level of attention or courtesy that he observed being extended to other customers. His concerns were not taken seriously, and he felt ignored when trying to ask questions about the service being performed on his vehicle. In addition to the unprofessional behavior, he was also overcharged for the services provided. When he requested a receipt, he was told that he would have to pay additional money just to receive documentation of the services performed, which is completely unacceptable. He was also told that he had to pay upfront in cash, which raised further concerns about the legitimacy and transparency of the transaction. More concerning, however, was the treatment he experienced that he perceived to be racially motivated. He was subjected to inappropriate language, including racist slurs, which is completely unacceptable under any circumstances. The manner in which he was spoken to, along with the overall hostility, made it clear that he was not being treated fairly or respectfully. Additionally, my husband was treated disrespectfully as well. He was told that he could not use the bathroom in the auto shop and was instructed to go to a nearby gas station instead. This added to the overall feeling of being unwelcome and discriminated against. No customer especially a paying customer and business owner should ever have to endure discrimination, dishonesty, or disrespect when seeking service. This experience was not only unprofessional but deeply offensive. I believe that all businesses have a responsibility to provide a respectful, inclusive, and professional environment for every customer. Unfortunately, my husband's experience at B & B Auto Service fell far below that standard. We are bringing this to your attention in hopes that it will be taken seriously and addressed appropriately. We expect accountability for this behavior and meaningful steps to ensure that no one else experiences this type of treatment in the future.
