BEWARE! Despite the name, logo and website marketing these movers are NOT off duty firemen. My husband chose to have them move us from one home to our new house on May 7, 2019. Despite telling them the number of rooms, etc. that we needed moved they did not have enough room on the truck and my husband had to rent a van and move things over a span of several days. This expense only added to the $1,500.00 cash that went missing from my husbands checkbook. Up to the point of paying them, the cash and the checkbook remained in his locked truck. The cash went missing after they had moved all of the furniture into the new home and my husband retrieved the checkbook from his truck to pay them. They had already set up his office where he returned the checkbook with the cash because there was NO reason for them to go back into the room. They were finishing up putting a bed together in one of the other bedrooms. My husband contacted the company and related that the cash was missing and he was advised by Patrick to make a police report. The following day, May 8th, a Plano police officer came to our home to take the report. At that time he related his bad experience with this moving company. They would no longer take my husbands calls and were uncooperative with the detective that called to follow up. He wanted to question the 3 movers to get to the bottom of the missing cash. After weeks of no cooperation to resolve the matter the detective spoke to someone at the company that said they do not allow their employees to be questioned by police?? We have had a volley on the BBB but they are only as good as the information that is provided. They claim they do not believe one of their employees would have taken the money. So what are they hiding? Why would they not allow them to be questioned? My husband is a retired Navy Captain, having 33 years devoted to our country, he would not lie about this. They are not firemen, they are no different from any other moving company and despite their advertising that YOU CAN TRUST THEM WITH YOUR MOVE - they've proven that you cannot. They have NEVER attempted to resolve the situation. I have spoken with an attorney regarding the misrepresentation, deception and fraudulent advertising and plan to follow through with a civil suit. read more
