    Flies on the filthy tables.
    Tim A.

This is the slowest and most filthy firehouse I have ever been in. I walked in 30 minutes after they opened, ask if the tables were dirty maybe from last night as they were not that busy. Every table had flies on the tables. I actually came here because I needed some buckets with lids. They did not have any and the cashier was dismissive about when they would have some. I am a huge fan of firehouse but this one falls short of any expectations I have learned to have.

Keaton is the star employee at this location. GREAT customer service. Oh yeah the food. Right now the meatball sub is what I order. Haven't tried anything else and I have been here a few times. Purchased the pickle bucket which is in return for a donation. Great fresh food!

Second time eating here with a half hour wait time for a sandwich. Will not be coming back here. I will go to Publix across the street.

After asking the young ladies at the register Dawn & Jules for opinions we got a garlic parm tossed bites kids meal and a buffalo wrap meal. The chicken was fresh and juicy on both and the flavor for each was great! Dawn had suggested getting grilled bites for the kids meal because she thinks they are even juicer, so that may be next time. Everything was hot and done nicely. They have some nice drink selections such as regular or passion fruit lemonades and unsweetened, sweet, or sweet watermelon teas. We really liked the passion fruit lemonade and sweet watermelon tea. The dining room was clean and music was a decent volume. It's a little bit of a ride, but worth it!

I orders a Farm Fresh salad with crispy breaded chicken and honey mustard. It is a bowl of mixed greens, cherry tomatoes, cucumbers, roasted corn, black beans and julienne carrots with a glass of southern sweet tea. Portion was plentiful and fresh. The acoustics can make it pretty loud if they are busy and everyone is talking. We also ordered a Magoo wrap and crinkle cut fries. The fries are lightly seasoned, but undercooked for my liking. I prefer a little crispness to my fries. Don't get your heart set on cheese sauce for your fries. It I see on the menu, but they don't have it, nor will they in the future. The Magoo Wrap we ordered had grilled chicken, lettuce, cheese and their sauce. Good temperature on the grilled chicken, crisp lettuce wasn't too messy while eating.

That said, the restaurant could definitely use a good deep cleaning. We noticed cobwebs up around the windows and among some of the decorative areas after we ordered and sat down. All the bread products (in plastic bags on trays) were in the hallway just outside bathrooms. I noticed after we ate and was leaving. My daughter ordered the 2-meat plate with pulled pork and brisket. She asked for a baked potato as one of her sides even though it wasn't listed as an option, and they had no problem accommodating her. The baked potato was a good size. She also had mac and cheese and chose the garlic toast instead of cornbread. She felt the mac and cheese was a little too runny and overly cheesy, and the garlic toast was nothing special. The brisket and pulled pork were okay, but neither had much flavor on their own and definitely needed BBQ sauce. I ordered the 3-meat plate with ribs, brisket, and pulled pork, along with French fries and a baked potato. The portions were generous, and the fries were hot and salty just how I like them. Unfortunately, the cornbread was overcooked and didn't have much flavor. Like my daughter's meal, all three meats were plentiful but lacked seasoning or smoky BBQ flavor and really needed sauce. They had four BBQ sauce choices available, but none really stood out to me. If I went back, I'd probably bring my own favorite BBQ sauce. Our total was around $50 for the two of us, including two fountain drinks, so roughly $25 per person. Overall, the portions were very good and the menu offered plenty of choices, but for a BBQ restaurant, I expected the meat itself to have a lot more flavor without having to rely so heavily on the sauce.
