Every time I put in an order for this place. It's either always messed up or never received. The employees for the firehouse sub on Russell Parkway are terrible at doing their job. I always give them my name for pick ups and they never tell me if they got it or not. They just have me waiting there for 30+ minutes sometimes more while I have to wave someone down to ask about my order again. Only to find out it wasn't received or it just wasn't ready yet. It doesn't help if you have an order confirmation that you try to show them either. They really don't know what they're doing with online orders. This is the second time I've paid for sandwich and not gotten to eat it. read more

Stopped in here when I was in Warner Robins to run an errand and felt like a meatball sub. It was just after lunch rush, so there was a bit of food remnants on the tables, but the staff was moving to get them cleaned off. Prep time was pretty quick, and everyone was friendly and polite. The Firehouse meatball sub is a good solid sandwich at most any Firehouse location and it was no exception here. First time calling in an order for pickup. The good: It was surprisingly ready on time when I arrived. I came here in person for lunch about two years ago and it was ridiculously slow. At 5pm after work, the place was entirely empty, so they must have had plenty of time. Mine was the only order on the pickup rack. The bad: Got home to find they did not make the sub as ordered and paid for. Paid an extra $6 for double meat on a large NY Steamer sub so we could share only to realize they ripped us off. No double meat. The regular Hook and Ladder we also ordered had the same amount on it. The ugly: Should have known by the other bad reviews that this firehouse fails to meet even the most basic of expectations. Expecting quality service and getting what you paid for is an elusive commodity at this failure of a business. Final thought: It was too far to drive back across town to deal with this nonsense, so we will chalk it up as another lesson learned about the declining food services on Russell. I am the customer most places hate to see come in because I special order everything. However, the crew here are always friendly. I cannot stand soggy bread, it makes me gag. So I always request they squeeze out as much moisture as possible when they take my cheese and meat out of the steamer. They never make me feel like a burden and they prepare my order with a smile. After my last visit, this location is a no for me!!! Though our sandwiches looked decent, the runner turned my stomach entirely. He didn't sanitize his hands after throwing away other people's trash, or prior to being new food to tables. Additionally, he and other workers handled a cellphone without ensuring that they sanitized prior to food prep/serving. Lastly, he dropped the small clear condiment cups on the floor, picked them up, and placed them back into the stack that he continued to play with (see pics attached). I've been to this location a few times over the last year. Unfortunately each time I come the service gets worse. Example right now 2 customers ahead of me is upset as she has been waiting over 30 mins for her food. She asked for the manager who just bragged she is 17 told the customer she is the manger. The customer explained her displeasure of having to wait so long the manager said umm ma'am I have your order in front of me your next. In my opinion very disrespectful and non accommodating to the customer. I ordered 2 sandwiches to go 15 mins ago and I'm still waiting. I've already driven across the street to mcdonalds and bought food for my kids at home. Went next door to cupcake store and made a purchase and I'm still waiting . The customer who was upset just for her food. Now the staff is cracking jokes behind this customers back. I can't believe how unprofessional the place is. Floors and tables are dirty. It's gross. The food was great but the making of it was extremely slow. I am not sure why but their behind the counter fixings need to be revamped. I was the third in line and it took minutes to finally make it to the register. They then made the wrong sandwich and had to remake it. The person who remade my sandwich still didn't make it according to the slip and she smiled and said she was sorry. No compensation was offered. WaWa kiosk is an adoptable concept, it's quicker and we don't have to wait in long lines. The sandwiches are very specific right down to salt and pepper. I love going to firehouse but not during lunch hour! Wrong decision on my part. read more

I love firehouse subs but this location off of Russell Pkwy is ridiculous. I have visited them 6 times in the last few weeks and every visit they have been out of at least one item on their menu. This ranges from tomatoes, white bread, meatballs (5/6 times they were out), and ham. What kind of sub restaurant runs out of these items? Let's face it, Subway is really fucking boring these days. But they're so healthy, blah blah, whatever, man. And Quiznos, I love ya, but you're heading the way of the zzzzz yourself. Also, there's only one of you around me and that sucks ass. Firehouse is near where I work so I go there probably once every two to three months and it's good. Hot subs, somewhat hearty in their construction, with no frills. A little expensive, but you're paying for a lot of meeeaatttt. Their claim, for the heartiness, I guess, is that they were founded by firefighters and firefighters have to eat a big ass meat packed meal. Honestly, I could care less. The food is warm and it's tasty. There's a slight firehouse motif in the place, with a few axes on the wall, which I find comforting. Should zombie armageddon ever break out in the street outside, I'm A) right now to a karate place, and B) there's an axe right there above where I eat. Also, a ginormous mural of a burning building with some firefighters standing in front of it and thinking about putting it out. I find that comforting when I'm digesting meat in vast quantities. Sadly, though, no pole to slide down. :( Also, they have that novelty selection of weird ass barbecue sauces on the counter that you can spend a good portion of time selectiong from. There's at least 50 of them up there. Some of them just look goofy or have stupid names, but on the plus side there, I've actually watched a lunch companion cry because the hot barbecue sauce he put on his sandwich was a little too hot. Then I watched him run to the bathroom to put his flaming hot tongue under a faucet. Then he made me swear to never share that anecdote again. Oops. Bottom line, Firehouse is just a solid choice if, for some reason, you're in the mood for a hearty sandwich with a shitload of meat on it. read more

I've eaten at a lot of Firehouse subs and this specific location is sub-par. The cashier mumbled and I had to ask her to repeat herself twice before I could figure out what she was asking me. Of course, she acted like I was the idiot for not being able to understand her. The subs took a long time to come out, and looked like they were hastily thrown together. The meat wasn't shaved, it was cut pretty thick. If you've ever ordered deli meat then equate the thickness to a 1.5 cut. I also got the top of an un-cored tomato in my sandwich. Maybe they thought I wouldn't notice eating the hard green middle...I did. It's obvious these sandwiches aren't made with pride. I won't be back to this location. read more

So wonderful to have cancer, can't hardly eat anything, your husband drives 30 miles to get something you want and they could care less what they give you for takeout...... The 2 small sandwiches they made were ridiculous. First, they were barely 3.5 inches long cut off bread from a larger loaf. (The small sandwiches on the website show a complete baked small loaf) The Turkey Bacon Ranch had the wrong cheese and sauce. The Vegetable had 3 shreds of lettuce (not kidding), 2 pepper strips, 2 onion strips and a half slice of tomato. The cashier quizzed my husband about mushrooms, he said yes but they didn't put them on. There was practically nothing on the sandwich. You would think they would not skimp on vegetables since it is the only thing on the sandwich!! (It went in the trash....) The manager needs to step it up. We give up on this location. read more

When it comes to sandwich restaurants in the Warner Robins area, your choices are very limited, the best place being the sandwich made at home, but relatively speaking Firehouse isn't a bad choice and works in a pinch. I can't attest to how fresh the meat, bread, or vegetables (the fact that they have veges may be more of a myth then actual truth), but I guess it doesn't matter too much when you're going to blitz the sandwich in a hot oven. I don't really have much more to say about Firehouse simply because it's that memorable of a place. read more

The problem with this place is not the service, but the total sub. I tried the Italian Sub large with the works. The wheat bread was very plain tasting and the Italian meats tasted like items you may pick up in a cold cut package. The only tastes in this sub was the onions and the dressing including mustard. A great sub no matter what you get on it should make you want to come back, well I will not go back. I will however go to Larry's Giant Subs for my Italian subs or any great tasting items. read more

Slowest service ever. We came in 11 am on a Sunday, there were two people in front of us and it took at least 10, maybe 15, minutes to get our sandwiches. There were six employees that we could see in the restaurant, one of them was working, one was leaning on our side of the counter watching her, and the other four were leaning against the back counter hanging out. This is a problem I've had many times at Firehouse Subs and I wouldn't return if there were any other option besides Subway or fried food in the area. I don't eat at Firehouse very often but lately I've been craving it more. The food never disappoints but usually the customer service is where this location comes up short. The manager always seem to be nice and outgoing with the customers while the other works just mumble under their breath when/if they talk to you. The last 4 times I have eaten here I never got a pickle. To some that may seem small but for true Firehouse customers it's kind of a nice addition and something we look forward to. Initially I thought it was due to COVID. Well today I chose to ask if they were just simply out. The worker just looked at me for a second, didn't say anything, and walked away. It had to be the most painfully slow foot dragging walk I've ever seen in my life. A few minutes later she gave me one of their pickle slices with a bit of a s***t eaten grin. When I looked at the pickle it was a very small sliver of mainly just the skin of the pickle. I don't know if the workers are miserable working here or what the issue is but it really drags down the place. If not for the quality subs I would never go back. It wasn't even busy at the time either. Then when I got home, 3 mins away, my food was room temperature at best with a pound of mayo. I ordered the brisket cheddar sandwich and normally it has a mixture of mayo and bbq sauce. There was zero bbq sauce and double the amount of mayo. wow, the sub i got today was the worst sub ever! my husband asked for pastrami mustard pickles and cheese on a italian roll. he got a smashed pastrami with no cheese to be found with dijon not yellow mustard. He went back and asked for a coupon or refund since we did not ask for dijon and no one said that that was the mustard they were going to use. They were very rude, almost bully like and refused to do anything. WE WILL NEVER EAT THERE AGAIN. read more
