I love this place! This is my favorite spot for hot subs and Jersey Mike's is my favorite place for cold subs. The owner actually works and he is so kind! I was indecisive about two subs and he gave me one for free just because he knows I'm a regular customer. I was speechless and thanked him since I'm actually a Baltimore city special enforcement officer and I respect everything they do for firefighters and first responders. The subs here are delicious, the Cajun chicken sub and the hot Italian sub are perfect! I highly recommend the drive, it's also right next to TCBY, so perfect sorry for a sub and then ice cream. The prices are very affordable.

I took this photo just after being sent away from this joint

...I just wanted a hook and ladder and totally within their designated hours was sent away. My suggestion, steer clear!!!

    Smoking Triple Stack

Stopped in specifically for the Smoking Triple Stack and it did not disappoint. Had to order through the app in order to get this special sub and the process was simple and seamless, the only issue I had was that I had requested to redeem points for a free dessert and it didn't go through. The sandwich was stacked so high hubby had to eat his outside of the car, very impressive for a chain style sub shop and the kosher dill pickle was a nice touch. I absolutely loved the flavors of the sub and how it was served in a box and will definitely come back just for that. We also tried the potato soup but that was a huge disappointment, very thin and very little potatoes, tasted like it came out of a can.

    Chopped salad with grilled chicken

First time here. Decided to get dinner while waiting on a friend. Watching calories and carbs I was able to have a delicious chopped salad with grilled chicken. It was so good. It was also very fresh. The staff was friendly. They greeted me as soon as I entered. I also needed to use the bathroom before I left to tinkle (I know TMI) but, what I can tell you is it was very clean to be a public bathroom.

    Italian Sub

First time here at this new location. Great Italian sub combo. Very tasty and fresh. Good value for around ten bucks. They have a huge selection of sandwiches and combos. Also a large selection of under 500 calories. One neat feature, which I am seeing more of is the high-tech Coke machine with all there products and variations. I mix coke and Fanta. Yummy. Lots of different hot sauces to smother your grub with. It's nice to have one the area and not have to go to Owings Mills. What's tough though is the parking lot. Crowded and cramped. Tough, in my opinion to turn into and out of depending on the time of day.

Italian meatball sub. It was good.

Love the subs. Beats Subway by a mile. Wish they had more locations. Hero Sub is a favorite!

The inside is actually so charming with a lot of historic cabinets and stain glass details that I was not expecting at all. It's right off Falls Rd so very centrally located. You go to the deli counter, place your order, and then pay at the cash register up front. The menu is huge and overwhelming for a first timer. I got the Italian cold cut with everything on it on the gluten free roll. My boyfriend got the Black Russian on rye which came with roast beef, swiss, and coleslaw. We also got a small side of the broccoli salad. I loved the sandwich. It was stacked with yummy meat and flavorful sauce. I wish I would've added banana peppers for an extra kick though. It's been forever since I've had an Italian cold cut because so many places don't offer GF bread and if they do, it's usually sad white bread that falls apart the minute you touch it. The GF roll was pretty solid and stayed in tact. Next time, I'll probably get a hot sub since the flavor and texture of the roll would be better if it was toasted. The broccoli salad was delicious too with bits of bacon and a sweet sauce. I'd definitely return here in the future!

When we walked in, the cashier immediately asked whether we were dining in or taking out. We chose to dine in. We ordered the roast beef sandwich and the pastrami sandwich, along with potato pancakes. They brought out a full assortment of pickles and pickled vegetables. Unfortunately, they only offer one diet option: Dr Pepper Zero, no other diet sodas from the fountain or in bottles. The potato pancakes were a disappointment -- mostly batter with very little shredded potato. The pickled vegetables also lacked flavor and didn't really taste pickled. Our table wasn't cleared at any point during the meal, and the waiter stood nearby waiting for us to finish, which felt a bit uncomfortable. The desserts looked amazing, but we were too full to try them. We also couldn't take anything to go since we had plans for the rest of the day and didn't want it sitting in the car. Next time, we'll come back specifically to try the desserts.

However, as you know it slowly deteriorated until I stopped patronizing it. I was initially happy to see it changed ownership. Reading the reviews however, it seems it is continuing to be SUBPAR! The Management apologies are scripted(cut & paste) for goodness sakes!! I think I'll pass! Fortunately, when I go back home periodically, I have several solid authentic options.

I visited on 4.28.2026 for breakfast. I ordered a side of breakfast potatoes, bacon, scrapple. The breakfast potatoes tasted like the old lukewarm potatoes you get from a hotel lobby. Six bucks!! The bacon was ok. Just ok. The scrapple was good. The hot tea (Lipton Tea Bag)... chef's kiss!! I'm good on this place. I had a great run w them for many years.

The food is served via cafeteria style in a quick fashion. You are able to watch your food being cooked which has its positive and negatives. The negative is the kitchen needs a full deep cleaning along with the staff T shirts which has clear evidence of grease and food stains. The drink included with the platter is tea, coffee or a soft drink. None of the bottled drinks are included as signs are posted on the refrigerator doors. I explained to the cashier that I don't drink coffee at all, I only drink tea for a sore throat and I don't drink soft drinks for breakfast. I was inquiring for an additional drink option as I only purchased the breakfast platter because the drink was included. There are no options as I purchase a bottled orange juice to drink instead. There is open seating available with TV to watch while you eat. There is also a bakery and deli counter inside as well. Pretty good parking available outside. I will likely return but, hopefully some feedback will bring about some changes.
