    Tuna Sub
    Jpb T.

I ordered a tuna sub online Monday 9-19-22 late at night. My online order was ready right when I came in. This location has always been clean and well staffed. Firehouse Subs was founded by fireman. The chain goes above and beyond in giving back through charity.

I don't usually do chain stuff, but I was really impressed with Firehouse Subs. The food was fresh and tasty, the staff was on the ball, and as an Ex-Emergency Services worker, I appreciate the company's approach to helping local fire departments with donations. Our sandwiches were really good, the prices were decent, and the place presented a really nice atmosphere. Overall, We really loved the RR Firehouse (subs, that is:)

What can you say about Firehouse Subs, one its a chain restaurant. Two the best Sub shop ever, better than, Blimpies, Subway, and Quiznos, hands down. Great variety of signature Firehouse Subs, plus a create your own. They also have a small sub deal with one of 4 sides for $8, I believe thats the proper price point. Not only all the greatness you can ask for in a sub, but some of the proceeds go to help the firefighters for equipment.

Yes!!! I am so happy this is open!! My husband and I love Firehouse, so when I was driving by and saw the sign saying there was a Firehouse in RR, I nearly lost it! After moving from Columbus to west CLE two years ago, one big thing we were still missing was Firehouse Subs. And now, we have it! Everyone here is so nice and welcoming, the food is delicious, and the restaurant clean. My husband loves the spicy meatball sub, and I'm more of a Hook and Ladder fan. I'm not sure what it is, but their ham here is freaking delicious! It's perfectly sweet and juicy. Truthfully, all of their meat is really good, and I love their warm and toasty bread. If you want a delicious hot sub, I HIGHLY recommend trying Firehouse!

Just noticed this place the other day and since it is close to my house my guest and I decided to walk to it with the thought being that we might burn off some of the delicious calorie load we were about to take in. Neither of us had heard of Firehouse Subs before so we were curious, but no disappointments here! The food: Firehouse Steak & Cheese $6.99 (steak, cheese, peppers and onions) Engineer $6.69 (Turkey, swiss, grilled mushrooms) We both went with medium hot subs under $7 and decided to forgo any sides or desserts (although the cookies look really good). I want to say the mediums are 8 inches long which is a pretty good sized sub. We both really enjoyed our subs a lot! Very tasty and filling. The theme is firehouse stuff if that wasn't obvious. One weird bit of decor though was huge painting with a kangaroo off to the side. Apparently the owner is from Australia. Only negatives would be that everyone greets you loudly at once when you walk in. Comes across a bit forced and not so genuine as one simple direct smile and hello would. Also I think the subs take a little longer than other seasoned subs shops, but this could be because the place is new and still training/working out the kinks. Lastly it's a sub shop so not a ton of variety, but will satisfy you if you're in the mood for deli meat on a big bun. All in all I would definitely come here again! Nice competition for Jersey Mike's and Penn Station.

Went at lunchtime. Bread was very heavy, possibly stale. Could not taste any of the meat or other toppings over the heavy bread.

25 min wait for a meatball sub. Will not be going back. The sub was good - but not worth the bad service.

Slowest service of any sub shop around. If they want to stay in business long, they better hire more people to make sandwiches.

Raising Canes has officially opened in Rocky River, Ohio and it is located close to the Westgate…read moreMall on Center Ridge Road. I've been to other Raising Canes locations. I ordered a Chicken Combo meal. CANIAC COMBO ($11.59) -- This is the 6-piece chicken finger combo that I ordered. My order unfortunately came with only 4 chicken fingers instead of 6 and I only realised this once I reached my friend Gabby's house so someone made a mistake when putting together my order. I was so hungry that I forgot to take a good picture of my whole chicken-finger meal before I started eating but I've attached a photo below. Besides chicken fingers, the caniac combo comes with a small container of coleslaw, garlic bread, fries, and two small special sauces. A 32 ounce soft drink of your choice is included as well. I got a large lemonade drink on the side which I shared with my friend because that would have been too much sugar for me to drink. MENU -- The whole menu at all Raising Canes is a 3, 4, or 6 piece chicken finger combo. They also have a kids combo (2 chicken fingers) and a sandwich combo (3 chicken fingers). The 3 chicken fingers combo does not come with coleslaw but the 4 chicken finger combo does include coleslaw on the side. PRO TIP -- If your get any of their combos without a soft drink (soda), your bill will be reduced. I actually got Raising Canes the very next day at the Lakewood location and ordered the 3-piece combo ($6.99) which comes with a 22-oz fountain drink. I did not order the drink and my bill was reduced by a dollar so I only paid $5.99. I tend not to order soda pop and instead opt for drinking water at home. FOOD RATING -- I've had Raising Canes plenty of times before. I first had it while I was a undergraduate University student in Columbus, Ohio. I've also been to their Strongsville and Lakewood locations here in Cleveland. The chicken fingers are good for a fast food joint but nothing beats chicken fingers from Upper Crust. The fries here could be crispier and firmer. The garlic bread is tasty. The special sauce is what Raising Canes is known for and I love it. I believe it is a type of mayonnaise mixture. SERVICE -- Great! If you have never tried Raising Canes before then I recommend it for a quick fast food option. **** - 15/200 total reviews in 2020 - 391 total overall Yelp reviews - Reviewed on 12 February 2020

She didn't mop it dry like you do when you dry mop floors, she just scrub brushed it with a deck brush, spreading the soapy water over the entire floor directly in front of the cash registers. I saw people slipping, but luckily, nobody fell because they could have gotten hurt.....all because of her inappropriately "cleaning" the floors during rush-hour. And the food was bad. When orders were falling behind, she didn't even go back and help, even though she could see that it was chaotic and people were waiting 10 to 15 minutes for their orders. I heard one of the employees say that one order was completely skipped and missed. Also, the profanity her and the employees were yelling at each other, even though there were little kids there, was just unacceptable! I actually did something that I've never done before and I never thought I would be compelled enough to do. I called Corporate and made a claim and the lady said she was fast tracking it to upper management to make sure that this is addressed. And I hope it gets addressed because I love Wendy's, and customers should not have to go through shenanigans like this while they try to get their meals. This left me speechless. I will continue to go to Wendy's as it's my favorite burger joint, but I definitely will not go back to this one!!!!

However, we heard it was a deli and from the photos online the food looked great. So, we tried it. Well, the food was amazing. They offer a very large menu. There is something for everyone. I ordered the Philly and could not believe how good it was. The portions are huge, so we split. The potato salad was great, not the grocery store type! We were a large party of 9, and they had no problem seating us. We waited 10 minutes for a table. The service was fantastic. The waitress was very nice and brought refills right away. She brought extra plates when asked and got to-go boxes for us. The ambiance is hard to explain. The pace is huge! Not really decorated like a deli at all. Kind of an upscale diner, very clean, and minimalist. Don't expect a fancy interior. It's kid-friendly and just an all-around great family place. Not a "date" place, however, the food is so good, I just might ask to go there on a date! This restaurant does not disappoint.

The dessert case was large & filled with beautiful cakes & pastries. We were sat about 10 mins late though I was there 30 mins early), but we got 2 servers. The 2 ladies were cordial but a bit short w/ us and persnickety about our requests. My sister asked for light cheese specifically & server said that veggie sub never has a lot on it so she didn't need to note it. Then it came out w/ so much cheese it was impossible to separate it so she asked for it to be remade & server said that was the last one they had. So she had to order a side salad since time was short as hers came out last, & it would take 10+ mins to make another dish. There were a couple other issues w/ server's remarks seeming to have attitude. Food overall tasted good. My hot pastrami was delicious but overly salted & cheese wasn't melted like on everyone else's sandwiches. All like the huge pickles. Prices were fair for the portions. And food came out when ready as we requested for 16 ppl. I'd give 3.5 stars if able, but I'll round up this time.
