The manager was very polite. We had to wait for our order. The manager gave us a full refund for our order and was very apologetic. The food was delicious.

Stopped in here after having a coupon for a sub, I recently have gone vegetarian and I've noticed some sub places don't offer veggie subs. I was happy to learn that they do offer one here so that was a plus. On entering there was no one else here as I arrived early to beat the lunch rush cause they get super busy here. The staff was extremely nice and friendly. The sub was ready very quick less than five minutes. The sub was kinda small and I wish it had more veggies on it but overall it was a good quick lunch. I'd definitely stop back here down the road for lunch next time I'm in the area.

Firehouse subs in Robinson is a pretty solid sub option. I enjoy their offerings and put them a step above Subway but still prefer a Bob's Sub or DiBellas overall. Maybe more in line with Jimmy Johns. And that's not saying there is anything wrong with them. I love Jimmy Johns! The service was very fast and friendly. I ordered from the Medium under $6 menu and got a Cajun Chicken. Not bad at all. It was just about the right size to feel satisfied without feeling stuffed with a chips and drink combo. I especially enjoy the hot sauce bar!!! They have plenty of sauces to spruce up your sub if you'd like. I would highly recommend the Gator Hammock Gator Sauce. I liked it so much that I had to find it to order online. The house sauce is also very likable. Overall price, quality and quantity makes Firehouse a nice option for a sub.

Usually don't have problems at Firehouse subs. I waited 25 minutes on a non-busy Sunday for my sandwiches. I'll give them two stars because the Italian sub was good but I ordered a cheesesteak and I think the pictures explains it all. Just terrible.

At Firehouse in Robinson Twp, Pa a sandwich was ordered as described on the menu except requested with no mayo...this is what Firehouse made

DiBella's Subs is a casual restaurant chain that began over 100 years ago, and today it has dozens…read moreof locations across several states. My husband and I visited this particular DiBella's Subs in Robinson Township one time. Menu items include submarine sandwiches (e.g., salami, ham, turkey, corned beef, tuna, roast beef, capicola, chicken, cheesesteak, meatball, and veggie), salads (e.g., pasta, macaroni, and potato), and cookies (e.g., chocolate chip and oatmeal raisin). For lunch my husband ordered a 10-inch grilled chicken Philly sandwich. After he paid and had his receipt, an employee asked him if he had ordered a different sub, and he corrected her, and then she dishonestly told another employee that he had "changed" his mind. After many minutes, an employee handed him the correct sandwich. Including tax and tip, it cost about $16. The restaurant contained many tables and chairs, but we got the sandwich as takeout. My husband said that he liked the taste of his grilled chicken Philly sandwich.

Does anyone else remember when DiBella's used to load up their subs with meat?…read more The quality and quantity of the food has really slipped over the last few years. There was a time where you could bite into a DiBella's sub and there would be a generous portion of meat on it. Now? Most bites are just a lot of bread and toppings. I have never had an issue with the service here. Unless you consider not loading up the subs part of the service. Everyone is friendly. Because there is so little meat on the subs, I would now consider them too expensive. On a scale of 1-5: Food - 2 Service - 4.5 Price - 2

Yum! This place came up in my suggestions on Yelp and I am so glad that it did!…read more This is a "build your own" style restaurant like Chipotle or Moe's but with delicious Indian food. There was an appetizer that I had never heard of or tried before, so I wanted to try it (similar to a pani puri). I was ordering for takeout, but they said if I wanted this I really should eat it in house immediately because the shell would get soggy and not be as good. I appreciate the tip because I would not have otherwise known that. And I am so glad I ordered it because it was delicious! The combination of the sauces with the shell and contents was a flavor blast. Definitely something I will order again. For the bowl, I did a build your own. They also have pre-designed bowls that might help if you are feeling overwhelmed with the choices. I made mine with white rice, paneer tikka, tiki masala sauce and several of the toppings. The portions were generous and they answered my questions about ingredients and let me sample sauces while I was making my decisions. When I thought about adding something that sounded good, they advised me against it saying it wouldn't work together with what I had already put in (but weren't pushy about it). I appreciated the feedback. The bowl was delicious and filling. I enjoyed every single bite and it was the kind of meal where I was actually sad when it was gone because I enjoyed it that much. I'm not in the Robinson area that often, but I would definitely come back any time I'm around.

Unfortunately for this fish, it was bland, overcooked, and tasted of old grease. The fries were seasoned so much that you were essentially eating spoon fulls of old bay. The wait was almost an hour past our pick up time. I understand being busy, but it might be more beneficial to reflect a more accurate pick up time... Strange Roots itself is a small space with nice outdoor seating. I'm not a huge fan of the beer here either, but the bartender was very nice and accommodating during our visit. I hope if you try this place you have a better experience.

We ordered 2 sandwiches at 6:10 PM, the wait was a little longer than anticipated and was ready at 7:00 pm. It smelled mildly "fishy" but it is fish after all. First impression, it did not appear as advertised. It was missing the sauce and lettuce pictured on the website. I took three bites and unfortunately, the fish was hard. It seemed over cooked which may have contributed to the time it took to receive it. The grease also tasted old. The Mac on top was again, overcooked. The French fries were cooked well, but they had so much old bay seasoning and salt it was difficult to eat. I wish this were unique to my order, but I was dinning with three others, all ordering the same thing, and we all had the same complaints. I did request to speak with someone in the kitchen but they said they didn't have time as they were quite busy. The brewery was full and outside seating was also starting to fill so that is understandable. The bartender at strange roots had us write our names on a piece of paper and said the kitchen will refund the meals. I contemplated ordering a burger instead but didn't want to wait again so we did leave to dine elsewhere.

We didn't, but somehow got lucky snagging seats at the bar... which honestly turned out to be a perfect spot to eat too! The beet salad was SO good I could've easily ordered a second without hesitation. I had a self-proclaimed Reuben connoisseur with me, and he declared it the best Reuben he's ever had (second only to his own, of course ). It's not your typical version either--no standard Thousand Island overload. The corned beef was perfectly peppered and packed with flavor, and even the bread stood out. Fish tacos? Absolutely a yes. Fresh, flavorful, and just done right. We split sides--tater tots for one dish and the homemade chips for the other. Always go for the homemade chips here. WOW! They had this subtle sweetness that made them seriously addictive. Friendly service, great atmosphere, and food that lives up to the hype. Totally worth it! One quick heads up: there's a 3% fee if you use a credit card, so plan accordingly.

Our first time here and we loved the room upstairs. Very cozy and intimate. Hardly anyone was there at 7:00 pm on a weekday. Everything went well except the food took forever to arrive. We waited 45 minutes for the food to arrive, and we couldn't understand because there was hardly anyone in the dining room. (Two other tables and one group had already eaten.) The hamburger was fine when we finally got it. The homemade pickles were the best. My husband loved the salsa. One thing I wish we were told is that there is a surcharge to use a credit card and there was a charge for the salsa. Both those things were a surprise. I love how this place has history. The grandmother owned the Ritz Hotel in Bridgeville and her 7 Up sign from the hotel graces the walls. All the old black and white Heidelberg photos are fun to see. Even though we were disappointed in the slow delivery of our meal, we may give it another try due to the server and the community feel to the place.
